- イエス · キリスト の 默示． この 默示は， 神が， すぐにも 起るべきことをその 僕たちに 示すため キリスト に 與え， そして， キリスト が， 御使をつかわして， 僕 ヨハネ に 傳えられたものである．
- ヨハネ は， 神の 言と イエス · キリスト のあかしと， すなわち， 自分が 見たすべてのことをあかしした．
- この 預言の 言葉を 朗讀する 者と， これを 聞いて， その 中に 書かれていることを 守る 者たちとは， さいわいである． 時が 近づいているからである．

- わたしたちを， その 父なる 神のために， 御國の 民とし， 祭司として 下さったかたに， 世¿限りなく 榮光と 權力とがあるように， アァメン ．
- 見よ， 彼は， 雲に 乘ってこられる． すべての 人の 目， ことに， 彼を 刺しとおした 者たちは， 彼を 仰ぎ 見るであろう． また 地上の 諸族はみな， 彼のゆえに 胸を 打って 嘆くであろう． しかり， アァメン ．

- and among the lampstands was someone "like a son of man,"dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest.
- His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.
- His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.

- その 聲はこう 言った， 「あなたが 見ていることを 書きものにして， それを エペソ ， スミルナ ， ペルガモ ， テアテラ ， サルデス ， ヒラデルヒヤ ， ラオデキヤ にある 七つの 敎會に 送りなさい 」．
- そこでわたしは， わたしに 呼びかけたその 聲を 見ようとしてふりむいた． ふりむくと， 七つの 金の 燭台が 目についた．
- それらの 燭台の 間に， 足までたれた 上着を 着， 胸に 金の 帶をしめている 人の 子のような 者がいた．
- そのかしらと 髮の 毛とは， 雪のように 白い 羊毛に 似て 眞白であり， 目は 燃える 炎のようであった．
- その 足は， 爐で 精鍊されて 光り 輝くしんちゅうのようであり， 聲は 大水のとどろきのようであった．

- In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
- When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.

- The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

- その 右手に 七つの 星を 持ち， 口からは， 銳いもろ 刃のつるぎがつき 出ており， 顔は， 强く 照り 輝く 太陽のようであった．
- わたしは 彼を 見たとき， その 足もとに 倒れて 死人のようになった． すると， 彼は 右手をわたしの 上において 言った， 「恐れるな． わたしは 初めであり， 終りであり，
- また， 生きている 者である． わたしは 死んだことはあるが， 見よ， 世¿限りなく 生きている 者である． そして， 死と 黃泉とのかぎを 持っている．
- そこで， あなたの 見たこと， 現在のこと， 今後起ろうとすることを， 書きとめなさい．
- あなたがわたしの 右手に 見た 七つの 星と， 七つの 金の 燭台との 奧義は， こうである． すなわち， 七つの 星は 七つの 敎會の 御使であり， 七つの 燭台は 七つの 敎會である．
