- "If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.
- But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.'
- If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
- "I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will bebound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

- 「兄弟があなたに 對して 罪を 犯したなら， 行って 二人だけのところで 忠告しなさい． 言うことを 聞き 入れたら， 兄弟を 得たことになる．
- 聞き 入れなければ， ほかに 一人か 二人， 一緖に 連れて 行きなさい． すべてのことが， 二人または 三人の 證人の 口によって 確定されるようになるためである．
- それでも 聞き 入れなければ， 敎會に 申し 出なさい． 敎會の 言うことも 聞き 入れないなら， その 人を 異邦人か 徵稅人と 同樣に 見なしなさい．
- はっきり 言っておく． あなたがたが 地上でつなぐことは， 天上でもつながれ， あなたがたが 地上で 解くことは， 天上でも 解かれる．
- また， はっきり 言っておくが， どんな 願い 事であれ， あなたがたのうち 二人が 地上で 心を 一つにして 求めるなら， わたしの 天の 父はそれをかなえてくださる．

- For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."
- Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?"
- Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

- イエス は 言われた． 「あなたに 言っておく． 七回どころか 七の 七十倍までも 赦しなさい．
