마태복음 20:20-21:11

 예수님께서는 천국에서 큰 자는 섬기는 자임을 교훈하시고 여리고의 두 소경을 고치셨다. 그리고 감람 산에서 나귀를 타시고 예루살렘에 입성하셔서 무리들의 환영을 받으셨다.
  
  섬김의 교훈(20:20-20:34)    
 
  1. Then the mother of Zebedee's sons came to Jesus with her sons and, kneeling down, asked a favor of him.
  2. "What is it you want?" he asked. She said, "Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom."
  3. "You don't know what you are asking," Jesus said to them. "Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?" "We can," they answered.
  4. Jesus said to them, "You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father."
  5. When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers.
  1. そのとき， ゼベダイ の 息子たちの 母が， その 二人の 息子と 一緖に イエス のところに 來て， ひれ 伏し， 何かを 願おうとした．
  2. イエス が， 「何が 望みか 」と 言われると， 彼女は 言った． 「王座にお 着きになるとき， この 二人の 息子が， 一人はあなたの 右に， もう 一人は 左に 座れるとおっしゃってください． 」
  3. イエス はお 答えになった． 「あなたがたは， 自分が 何を 願っているか， 分かっていない． このわたしが 飮もうとしている 杯を 飮むことができるか． 」二人が， 「できます 」と 言うと，
  4. イエス は 言われた． 「確かに， あなたがたはわたしの 杯を 飮むことになる． しかし， わたしの 右と 左にだれが 座るかは， わたしの 決めることではない． それは， わたしの 父によって 定められた 人¿に 許されるのだ． 」
  5. ほかの 十人の 者はこれを 聞いて， この 二人の 兄弟のことで 腹を 立てた．
  1. Jesus called them together and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them.
  2. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,
  3. and whoever wants to be first must be your slave--
  4. just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
  5. As Jesus and his disciples were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed him.
  1. そこで， イエス は 一同を 呼び 寄せて 言われた． 「あなたがたも 知っているように， 異邦人の 間では 支配者たちが 民を 支配し， 偉い 人たちが 權力を 振るっている．
  2. しかし， あなたがたの 間では， そうであってはならない． あなたがたの 中で 偉くなりたい 者は， 皆に 仕える 者になり，
  3. いちばん 上になりたい 者は， 皆の 僕になりなさい．
  4. 人の 子が， 仕えられるためではなく 仕えるために， また， 多くの 人の 身代金として 自分の 命を 獻げるために 來たのと 同じように． 」
  5. 一行が エリコ の 町を 出ると， 大勢の 群衆が イエス に 從った．
  1. Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!"
  2. The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!"
  3. Jesus stopped and called them. "What do you want me to do for you?" he asked.
  4. "Lord," they answered, "we want our sight."
  5. Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.
  1. そのとき， 二人の 盲人が 道端に 座っていたが， イエス がお 通りと 聞いて， 「主よ， ダビデ の 子よ， わたしたちを 憐れんでください 」と 叫んだ．
  2. 群衆は 叱りつけて 默らせようとしたが， 二人はますます， 「主よ， ダビデ の 子よ， わたしたちを 憐れんでください 」と 叫んだ．
  3. イエス は 立ち 止まり， 二人を 呼んで， 「何をしてほしいのか 」と 言われた．
  4. 二人は， 「主よ， 目を 開けていただきたいのです 」と 言った．
  5. イエス が 深く 憐れんで， その 目に 觸れられると， 盲人たちはすぐ 見えるようになり， イエス に 從った．
 
  예루살렘 입성(21:1-21:11)    
 
  1. As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples,
  2. saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me.
  3. If anyone says anything to you, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away."
  4. This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:
  5. "Say to the Daughter of Zion, 'See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.' "
  1. 一行が エルサレム に 近づいて， オリ ― ブ 山沿いの ベトファゲ に 來たとき， イエス は 二人の 弟子を 使いに 出そうとして，
  2. 言われた． 「向こうの 村へ 行きなさい． するとすぐ， ろばがつないであり， 一緖に 子ろばのいるのが 見つかる． それをほどいて， わたしのところに 引いて 來なさい．
  3. もし， だれかが 何か 言ったら， 『主がお 入り 用なのです 』と 言いなさい． すぐ 渡してくれる． 」
  4. それは， 預言者を 通して 言われていたことが 實現するためであった．
  5. 「シオン の 娘に 告げよ． 『見よ， お 前の 王がお 前のところにおいでになる， ／柔和な 方で， ろばに 乘り， ／荷を 負うろばの 子， 子ろばに 乘って． 』」
  1. The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them.
  2. They brought the donkey and the colt, placed their cloaks on them, and Jesus sat on them.
  3. A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
  4. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Hosanna in the highest!"
  5. When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, "Who is this?"
  1. 弟子たちは 行って， イエス が 命じられたとおりにし，
  2. ろばと 子ろばを 引いて 來て， その 上に 服をかけると， イエス はそれにお 乘りになった．
  3. 大勢の 群衆が 自分の 服を 道に 敷き， また， ほかの 人¿は 木の 枝を 切って 道に 敷いた．
  4. そして 群衆は， イエス の 前を 行く 者も 後に 從う 者も 叫んだ． 「ダビデ の 子に ホサナ ． 主の 名によって 來られる 方に， 祝福があるように． いと 高きところに ホサナ ． 」
  5. イエス が エルサレム に 入られると， 都中の 者が， 「いったい， これはどういう 人だ 」と 言って ¿いだ．
  1. The crowds answered, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee."
  1. そこで 群衆は， 「この 方は， ガリラヤ の ナザレ から 出た 預言者 イエス だ 」と 言った．
