마태복음 22:34-23:12

 예수님께서는 율법의 강령을 묻는 바리새인에게 사랑이 율법의 완성이라고 답변하셨다. 그리고 외식하고 교만한 유대 지도자들을 책망하시면서 참된 겸손의 도리를 제자들에게 가르치셨다.
  
  큰 계명(22:34-22:46)    
 
  1. Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together.
  2. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
  3. "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
  4. Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
  5. This is the first and greatest commandment.
  1. ファリサイ 派の 人¿は， イエス が サドカイ 派の 人¿を 言い ¿められたと 聞いて， 一緖に 集まった．
  2. そのうちの 一人， 律法の 專門家が， イエス を 試そうとして 尋ねた．
  3. 「先生， 律法の 中で， どの ¿が 最も 重要でしょうか． 」
  4. イエス は 言われた． 「『心を 盡くし， 精神を 盡くし， 思いを 盡くして， あなたの 神である 主を 愛しなさい． 』
  5. これが 最も 重要な 第一の ¿である．
  1. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
  2. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
  3. While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
  4. "What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?" "The son of David," they replied.
  5. He said to them, "How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him 'Lord'? For he says,
  1. 第二も， これと 同じように 重要である． 『隣人を 自分のように 愛しなさい． 』
  2. 律法全體と 預言者は， この 二つの ¿に 基づいている． 」
  3. ファリサイ 派の 人¿が 集まっていたとき， イエス はお 尋ねになった．
  4. 「あなたたちは メシア のことをどう 思うか． だれの 子だろうか． 」彼らが， 「ダビデ の 子です 」と 言うと，
  5. イエス は 言われた． 「では， どうして ダビデ は， 靈を 受けて， メシア を 主と 呼んでいるのだろうか．
  1. " 'The Lord said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet." '
  2. If then David calls him 'Lord,' how can he be his son?"
  3. No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions.
  1. 『主は， わたしの 主にお 告げになった． 「わたしの 右の 座に 着きなさい， ／わたしがあなたの 敵を ／あなたの 足もとに 屈服させるときまで 」と． 』
  2. このように ダビデ が メシア を 主と 呼んでいるのであれば， どうして メシア が ダビデ の 子なのか． 」
  3. これにはだれ 一人， ひと 言も 言い 返すことができず， その 日からは， もはやあえて 質問する 者はなかった．
 
  참된 지도자(23:1-23:12)    
 
  1. Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples:
  2. "The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat.
  3. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.
  4. They tie up heavy loads and put them on men's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.
  5. "Everything they do is done for men to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long;
  1. それから， イエス は 群衆と 弟子たちにお 話しになった．
  2. 「律法學者たちや ファリサイ 派の 人¿は， モ ― セ の 座に 着いている．
  3. だから， 彼らが 言うことは， すべて 行い， また 守りなさい． しかし， 彼らの 行いは， 見倣ってはならない． 言うだけで， 實行しないからである．
  4. 彼らは 背負いきれない 重荷をまとめ， 人の 肩に 載せるが， 自分ではそれを 動かすために， 指一本貸そうともしない．
  5. そのすることは， すべて 人に 見せるためである． 聖句の 入った 小箱を 大きくしたり， 衣服の 房を 長くしたりする．
  1. they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues;
  2. they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have men call them 'Rabbi.'
  3. "But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all brothers.
  4. And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.
  5. Nor are you to be called 'teacher,' for you have one Teacher, the Christ.
  1. 宴會では 上座， 會堂では 上席に 座ることを 好み，
  2. また， 廣場で ¿¿されたり， 『先生 』と 呼ばれたりすることを 好む．
  3. だが， あなたがたは『先生 』と 呼ばれてはならない． あなたがたの 師は 一人だけで， あとは 皆兄弟なのだ．
  4. また， 地上の 者を『父 』と 呼んではならない． あなたがたの 父は 天の 父おひとりだけだ．
  5. 『敎師 』と 呼ばれてもいけない． あなたがたの 敎師は キリスト 一人だけである．
  1. The greatest among you will be your servant.
  2. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
  1. あなたがたのうちでいちばん 偉い 人は， 仕える 者になりなさい．
  2. だれでも 高ぶる 者は 低くされ， へりくだる 者は 高められる．
