마태복음 25:31-26:13

 예수님께서는 양과 염소의 비유를 통해 최후의 심판을 경고하셨다. 이 때 대제사장들과 장로들은 예수님을 잡아 죽이기 위해 한창 의논하고 있었다. 한편 베다니에 오신 예수님에게 마리아는 향유를 부어 메시아의 장사를 예비하였다.
  
  심판의 경고(25:31-25:46)    
 
  1. "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory.
  2. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
  3. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
  4. "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
  5. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
  1. 「人の 子は， 榮光に 輝いて 天使たちを 皆從えて 來るとき， その 榮光の 座に 着く．
  2. そして， すべての 國の 民がその 前に 集められると， 羊飼いが 羊と 山羊を 分けるように， 彼らをより 分け，
  3. 羊を 右に， 山羊を 左に 置く．
  4. そこで， 王は 右側にいる 人たちに 言う． 『さあ， わたしの 父に 祝福された 人たち， 天地創造の 時からお 前たちのために 用意されている 國を 受け 繼ぎなさい．
  5. お 前たちは， わたしが 飢えていたときに 食べさせ， のどが 渴いていたときに 飮ませ， 旅をしていたときに 宿を 貸し，
  1. I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
  2. "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
  3. When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
  4. When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
  5. "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
  1. 裸のときに 着せ， 病氣のときに 見舞い， 牢にいたときに 訪ねてくれたからだ． 』
  2. すると， 正しい 人たちが 王に 答える． 『主よ， いつわたしたちは， 飢えておられるのを 見て 食べ 物を 差し 上げ， のどが 渴いておられるのを 見て 飮み 物を 差し 上げたでしょうか．
  3. いつ， 旅をしておられるのを 見てお 宿を 貸し， 裸でおられるのを 見てお 着せしたでしょうか．
  4. いつ， 病氣をなさったり， 牢におられたりするのを 見て， お 訪ねしたでしょうか． 』
  5. そこで， 王は 答える． 『はっきり 言っておく． わたしの 兄弟であるこの 最も 小さい 者の 一人にしたのは， わたしにしてくれたことなのである． 』
  1. "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
  2. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,
  3. I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'
  4. "They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'
  5. "He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
  1. それから， 王は 左側にいる 人たちにも 言う． 『呪われた 者ども， わたしから 離れ 去り， 惡魔とその 手下のために 用意してある 永遠の 火に 入れ．
  2. お 前たちは， わたしが 飢えていたときに 食べさせず， のどが 渴いたときに 飮ませず，
  3. 旅をしていたときに 宿を 貸さず， 裸のときに 着せず， 病氣のとき， 牢にいたときに， 訪ねてくれなかったからだ． 』
  4. すると， 彼らも 答える． 『主よ， いつわたしたちは， あなたが 飢えたり， 渴いたり， 旅をしたり， 裸であったり， 病氣であったり， 牢におられたりするのを 見て， お 世話をしなかったでしょうか． 』
  5. そこで， 王は 答える． 『はっきり 言っておく． この 最も 小さい 者の 一人にしなかったのは， わたしにしてくれなかったことなのである． 』
  1. "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
  1. こうして， この 者どもは 永遠の 罰を 受け， 正しい 人たちは 永遠の 命にあずかるのである． 」
 
  향유 사건(26:1-26:13)    
 
  1. When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he said to his disciples,
  2. "As you know, the Passover is two days away--and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified."
  3. Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,
  4. and they plotted to arrest Jesus in some sly way and kill him.
  5. "But not during the Feast," they said, "or there may be a riot among the people."
  1. イエス はこれらの 言葉をすべて 語り 終えると， 弟子たちに 言われた．
  2. 「あなたがたも 知っているとおり， 二日後は 過越祭である． 人の 子は， 十字架につけられるために 引き 渡される． 」
  3. そのころ， 祭司長たちや 民の 長老たちは， カイアファ という 大祭司の 屋敷に 集まり，
  4. 計略を 用いて イエス を 捕らえ， 殺そうと 相談した．
  5. しかし 彼らは， 「民衆の 中に ¿ぎが 起こるといけないから， 祭りの 間はやめておこう 」と 言っていた．
  1. While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of a man known as Simon the Leper,
  2. a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.
  3. When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. "Why this waste?" they asked.
  4. "This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor."
  5. Aware of this, Jesus said to them, "Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me.
  1. さて， イエス が ベタニア でらい 病の 人 シモン の 家におられたとき，
  2. 一人の 女が， 極めて 高價な 香油の 入った 石膏の 壺を 持って 近寄り， 食事の 席に 着いておられる イエス の 頭に 香油を 注ぎかけた．
  3. 弟子たちはこれを 見て， 憤慨して 言った． 「なぜ， こんな 無馱使いをするのか．
  4. 高く 賣って， 貧しい 人¿に 施すことができたのに． 」
  5. イエス はこれを 知って 言われた． 「なぜ， この 人を 困らせるのか． わたしに 良いことをしてくれたのだ．
  1. The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me.
  2. When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.
  3. I tell you the truth, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her."
  1. 貧しい 人¿はいつもあなたがたと 一緖にいるが， わたしはいつも 一緖にいるわけではない．
  2. この 人はわたしの 體に 香油を 注いで， わたしを 葬る 準備をしてくれた．
  3. はっきり 言っておく． 世界中どこでも， この 福音が 宣べ 傳えられる 所では， この 人のしたことも 記念として 語り 傳えられるだろう． 」
