레위기 11:1-12:8

 야웨께서는 백성들이 먹을 수 있는 정한 음식으로, 굽이 갈라져 쪽발이 되고 새김질하는 짐승, 지느러미와 비늘이 있는 어류, 정한 조류와 날개 있고 네 발로 기어 다니되 뛰는 다리가 있는 곤충 등을 허락하셨다. 그외 부정한 것들은 먹지도 접촉하지도 않음으로써 성결케 하도록 하셨다. 출산으로 부정케 된 여인이 정결케 되는 방법에 대해서도 말씀하셨다.
  
  정한 짐승과 부정한 짐승(11:1-11:47)    
 
  1. The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,
  2. "Say to the Israelites: 'Of all the animals that live on land, these are the ones you may eat:
  3. You may eat any animal that has a split hoof completely divided and that chews the cud.
  4. " 'There are some that only chew the cud or only have a split hoof, but you must not eat them. The camel, though it chews the cud, does not have a split hoof; it is ceremonially unclean for you.
  5. The coney, though it chews the cud, does not have a split hoof; it is unclean for you.
  1. 主は モ ― セ と アロン にこう 仰せになった．
  2. イスラエル の 民に 告げてこう 言いなさい． 地上のあらゆる 動物のうちで， あなたたちの 食べてよい 生き 物は，
  3. ひづめが 分かれ， 完全に 割れており， しかも 反すうするものである．
  4. 從って 反すうするだけか， あるいは， ひづめが 分かれただけの 生き 物は 食べてはならない． らくだは 反すうするが， ひづめが 分かれていないから， 汚れたものである．
  5. 岩狸は 反すうするが， ひづめが 分かれていないから， 汚れたものである．
  1. The rabbit, though it chews the cud, does not have a split hoof; it is unclean for you.
  2. And the pig, though it has a split hoof completely divided, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you.
  3. You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you.
  4. " 'Of all the creatures living in the water of the seas and the streams, you may eat any that have fins and scales.
  5. But all creatures in the seas or streams that do not have fins and scales--whether among all the swarming things or among all the other living creatures in the water--you are to detest.
  1. 野兎も 反すうするが， ひづめが 分かれていないから， 汚れたものである．
  2. いのししはひづめが 分かれ， 完全に 割れているが， 全く 反すうしないから， 汚れたものである．
  3. これらの 動物の 肉を 食べてはならない． 死骸に 觸れてはならない． これらは 汚れたものである．
  4. 水中の 魚類のうち， ひれ， うろこのあるものは， 海のものでも， 川のものでもすべて 食べてよい．
  5. しかしひれやうろこのないものは， 海のものでも， 川のものでも， 水に 群がるものでも， 水の 中の 生き 物はすべて 汚らわしいものである．
  1. And since you are to detest them, you must not eat their meat and you must detest their carcasses.
  2. Anything living in the water that does not have fins and scales is to be detestable to you.
  3. " 'These are the birds you are to detest and not eat because they are detestable: the eagle, the vulture, the black vulture,
  4. the red kite, any kind of black kite,
  5. any kind of raven,
  1. これらは 汚らわしいものであり， その 肉を 食べてはならない． 死骸は 汚らわしいものとして 扱え．
  2. 水の 中にいてひれやうろこのないものは， すべて 汚らわしいものである．
  3. 鳥類のうちで， 次のものは 汚らわしいものとして 扱え． 食べてはならない． それらは 汚らわしいものである． 禿鷲， ひげ 鷲， 黑禿鷲，
  4. 鳶， ¿の 類，
  5. 烏の 類，
  1. the horned owl, the screech owl, the gull, any kind of hawk,
  2. the little owl, the cormorant, the great owl,
  3. the white owl, the desert owl, the osprey,
  4. the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe and the bat.
  5. " 'All flying insects that walk on all fours are to be detestable to you.
  1. 鷲みみずく， 小みみずく， 虎ふずく， 鷹の 類，
  2. 森ふくろう， 魚みみずく， 大このはずく，
  3. 小きんめふくろう， このはずく， みさご，
  4. こうのとり， 靑鷺の 類， やつがしら 鳥， こうもり．
  5. 羽があり， 四本の 足で 動き， 群れを 成す 昆蟲はすべて 汚らわしいものである．
  1. There are, however, some winged creatures that walk on all fours that you may eat: those that have jointed legs for hopping on the ground.
  2. Of these you may eat any kind of locust, katydid, cricket or grasshopper.
  3. But all other winged creatures that have four legs you are to detest.
  4. " 'You will make yourselves unclean by these; whoever touches their carcasses will be unclean till evening.
  5. Whoever picks up one of their carcasses must wash his clothes, and he will be unclean till evening.
  1. ただし 羽があり， 四本の 足で 動き， 群れを 成すもののうちで， 地面を 跳躍するのに 適した 後ろ 肢を 持つものは 食べてよい．
  2. すなわち， いなごの 類， 羽ながいなごの 類， 大いなごの 類， 小いなごの 類は 食べてよい．
  3. しかし， これ 以外で 羽があり， 四本の 足をもち， 群れを 成す 昆蟲はすべて 汚らわしいものである．
  4. 以下の 場合にはあなたたちは 汚れる． 死骸に 觸れる 者はすべて 夕方まで 汚れる．
  5. また 死骸を 持ち 運ぶ 者もすべて 夕方まで 汚れる． 衣服は 水洗いせよ．
  1. " 'Every animal that has a split hoof not completely divided or that does not chew the cud is unclean for you; whoever touches the carcass of any of them will be unclean.
  2. Of all the animals that walk on all fours, those that walk on their paws are unclean for you; whoever touches their carcasses will be unclean till evening.
  3. Anyone who picks up their carcasses must wash his clothes, and he will be unclean till evening. They are unclean for you.
  4. " 'Of the animals that move about on the ground, these are unclean for you: the weasel, the rat, any kind of great lizard,
  5. the gecko, the monitor lizard, the wall lizard, the skink and the chameleon.
  1. ひづめはあるが， それが 完全に 割れていないか， あるいは 反すうしない 動物はすべて 汚れたものである． それに 觸れる 者もすべて 汚れる．
  2. 四本の 足で 步くが， 足の 裏の 膨らみで 步く 野生の 生き 物はすべて 汚れたものである． その 死骸に 觸れる 者も 夕方まで 汚れる．
  3. 死骸を 持ち 運ぶ 者は 夕方まで 汚れる． 衣服は 水洗いせよ． それらは 汚れたものである．
  4. 地上を 這う ※蟲類は 汚れている． もぐらねずみ， とびねずみ， とげ 尾とかげの 類，
  5. やもり， 大とかげ， とかげ， くすりとかげ， カメレオン ．
  1. Of all those that move along the ground, these are unclean for you. Whoever touches them when they are dead will be unclean till evening.
  2. When one of them dies and falls on something, that article, whatever its use, will be unclean, whether it is made of wood, cloth, hide or sackcloth. Put it in water; it will be unclean till evening, and then it will be clean.
  3. If one of them falls into a clay pot, everything in it will be unclean, and you must break the pot.
  4. Any food that could be eaten but has water on it from such a pot is unclean, and any liquid that could be drunk from it is unclean.
  5. Anything that one of their carcasses falls on becomes unclean; an oven or cooking pot must be broken up. They are unclean, and you are to regard them as unclean.
  1. 以上は ※蟲類の 中で 汚れたものであり， その 死骸に 觸れる 者はすべて 夕方まで 汚れる．
  2. これらの 生き 物の 一つが 死んで， 何かの 品物の 上に 落ちた 場合， それが 木の 器， 衣服， 皮， 袋， その 他何であれ 道具であるなら， 汚れる． それは 水に 浸しておかねばならない． 夕方まで 汚れるが， それ 以後は 淸い．
  3. その 死骸が 土器の 中に 落ちた 場合， その 中のものはすべて 汚れる． その 土器は 壞す．
  4. この 器の 中の 水がかかった 食物はすべて 汚れる． またその 器の 水を 飮んだ 場合， 汚れる．
  5. これらの 死骸の 一つが， かまどや＜爐に 落ちたならば， それらを 壞す． 汚れたからである． それは 汚れたものになる．
  1. A spring, however, or a cistern for collecting water remains clean, but anyone who touches one of these carcasses is unclean.
  2. If a carcass falls on any seeds that are to be planted, they remain clean.
  3. But if water has been put on the seed and a carcass falls on it, it is unclean for you.
  4. " 'If an animal that you are allowed to eat dies, anyone who touches the carcass will be unclean till evening.
  5. Anyone who eats some of the carcass must wash his clothes, and he will be unclean till evening. Anyone who picks up the carcass must wash his clothes, and he will be unclean till evening.
  1. しかし 泉やため 池に 死骸が 落ちた 場合， その 水は 淸いままである． ただし， その 中の 死骸に 觸れた 者は 汚れる．
  2. それらの 死骸の 一つが 種もみに 落ちた 場合， 種もみは 淸いままである．
  3. しかし 種もみが 水に 浸されていて， その 上に 死骸が 落ちた 場合， 種もみは 汚れる．
  4. 食用の 家畜が 死んだとき， その 死骸に 觸れた 者は 夕方まで 汚れる．
  5. その 死骸の 一部でも 食べた 者は， その 衣服を 水洗いせよ． その 人は 夕方まで 汚れている． またその 死骸を 持ち 運んだ 者も 衣服を 水洗いせよ． 夕方まで 汚れているからである．
  1. " 'Every creature that moves about on the ground is detestable; it is not to be eaten.
  2. You are not to eat any creature that moves about on the ground, whether it moves on its belly or walks on all fours or on many feet; it is detestable.
  3. Do not defile yourselves by any of these creatures. Do not make yourselves unclean by means of them or be made unclean by them.
  4. I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves about on the ground.
  5. I am the LORD who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy.
  1. 地上を 這う ※蟲類はすべて 汚らわしいものである． 食べてはならない．
  2. すなわち， 腹で 這うもの， 四本ないし 更に 多くの 足で 步くものなど， 地上を 這う ※蟲類はすべて 食べてはならない． 汚らわしいものである．
  3. あなたたちはこれらすべての ※蟲類によって 自分自身を 汚らわしいものとしてはならない． これらによって 汚れ， それによって 身を 汚してはならない．
  4. わたしはあなたたちの 神， 主である． あなたたちは 自分自身を 聖別して， 聖なる 者となれ． わたしが 聖なる 者だからである． 地上を 這う ※蟲類によって 自分を 汚してはならない．
  5. わたしはあなたたちの 神になるために， エジプト の 國からあなたたちを 導き 上った 主である． わたしは 聖なる 者であるから， あなたたちも 聖なる 者となりなさい．
  1. " 'These are the regulations concerning animals, birds, every living thing that moves in the water and every creature that moves about on the ground.
  2. You must distinguish between the unclean and the clean, between living creatures that may be eaten and those that may not be eaten.' "
  1. 以上は 動物， 鳥類， 魚類， および 地上を 這うすべての 生き 物についての 指示であり，
  2. 汚れたものと 淸いもの， 食べてよい 生き 物と 食べてはならない 生き 物とを 區別するためである．
 
  산모의 정결 의식(12:1-12:8)    
 
  1. The LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Say to the Israelites: 'A woman who becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son will be ceremonially unclean for seven days, just as she is unclean during her monthly period.
  3. On the eighth day the boy is to be circumcised.
  4. Then the woman must wait thirty-three days to be purified from her bleeding. She must not touch anything sacred or go to the sanctuary until the days of her purification are over.
  5. If she gives birth to a daughter, for two weeks the woman will be unclean, as during her period. Then she must wait sixty-six days to be purified from her bleeding.
  1. 主は モ ― セ に 仰せになった．
  2. イスラエル の 人¿に 告げてこう 言いなさい． 妊娠して 男兒を 出産したとき， 産婦は 月經による 汚れの 日數と 同じ 七日間汚れている．
  3. 八日目にはその 子の 包皮に 割禮を 施す．
  4. 産婦は 出血の 汚れが 淸まるのに 必要な 三十三日の 間， 家にとどまる． その 淸めの 期間が 完了するまでは， 聖なる 物に 觸れたり， 聖所にもうでたりしてはならない．
  5. 女兒を 出産したとき， 産婦は 月經による 汚れの 場合に 準じて， 十四日間汚れている． 産婦は 出血の 汚れが 淸まるのに 必要な 六十六日の 間， 家にとどまる．
  1. " 'When the days of her purification for a son or daughter are over, she is to bring to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting a year-old lamb for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or a dove for a sin offering.
  2. He shall offer them before the LORD to make atonement for her, and then she will be ceremonially clean from her flow of blood. " 'These are the regulations for the woman who gives birth to a boy or a girl.
  3. If she cannot afford a lamb, she is to bring two doves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for her, and she will be clean.' "
  1. 男兒もしくは 女兒を 出産した 産婦の 淸めの 期間が 完了したならば， 産婦は 一歲の 雄羊一匹を 燒き 盡くす 獻げ 物とし， 家鳩または 山鳩一羽を ·罪の 獻げ 物として 臨在の 幕屋の 入り 口に 携えて 行き， 祭司に 渡す．
  2. 祭司がそれを 主の 御前にささげて， 産婦のために ·いの 儀式を 行うと， 彼女は 出血の 汚れから 淸められる． これが 男兒もしくは 女兒を 出産した 産婦についての 指示である．
  3. なお 産婦が 貧しくて 小羊に 手が 屆かない 場合は， 二羽の 山鳩または 二羽の 家鳩を 携えて 行き， 一羽を 燒き 盡くす 獻げ 物とし， もう 一羽を ·罪の 獻げ 物とする． 祭司が 産婦のために ·いの 儀式を 行うと， 彼女は 淸められる．
