사무엘상 18:1-19:24

 요나단은 다윗과 두터운 우정을 맺었으나 사울은 다윗을 두려워하여 그를 제거하려 하였다. 사울은 딸 미갈을 다윗과 결혼시켜 그를 죽이려고 시도했다. 그러나 다윗은 요나단과 미갈의 도움으로 위험에서 벗어났다. 다윗이 사무엘에게 피하자 사울은 사람을 보내 그를 잡으려 하였으나, 하나님께서 다윗을 보호하셨다.
  
  사울의 질투(18:1-18:30)    
 
  1. After David had finished talking with Saul, Jonathan became one in spirit with David, and he loved him as himself.
  2. From that day Saul kept David with him and did not let him return to his father's house.
  3. And Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself.
  4. Jonathan took off the robe he was wearing and gave it to David, along with his tunic, and even his sword, his bow and his belt.
  5. Whatever Saul sent him to do, David did it so successfully that Saul gave him a high rank in the army. This pleased all the people, and Saul's officers as well.
  1. ダビデ が サウル と 話し 終えたとき， ヨナタン の 魂は ダビデ の 魂に 結びつき， ヨナタン は 自分自身のように ダビデ を 愛した．
  2. サウル はその 日， ダビデ を 召し 抱え， 父の 家に 歸ることを 許さなかった．
  3. ヨナタン は ダビデ を 自分自身のように 愛し， 彼と 契約を 結び，
  4. 着ていた 上着を 脫いで 與え， また 自分の 裝束を 劍， 弓， 帶に 至るまで 與えた．

  1. When the men were returning home after David had killed the Philistine, the women came out from all the towns of Israel to meet King Saul with singing and dancing, with joyful songs and with tambourines and lutes.
  2. As they danced, they sang: "Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands."
  3. Saul was very angry; this refrain galled him. "They have credited David with tens of thousands," he thought, "but me with only thousands. What more can he get but the kingdom?"
  4. And from that time on Saul kept a jealous eye on David.
  5. The next day an evil spirit from God came forcefully upon Saul. He was prophesying in his house, while David was playing the harp, as he usually did. Saul had a spear in his hand
  1. 皆が 戾り， あの ペリシテ 人を 討った ダビデ も 歸って 來ると， イスラエル のあらゆる 町から 女たちが 出て 來て， 太鼓を 打ち， 喜びの 聲をあげ， 三絃琴を 奏で， 歌い 踊りなが ㄲ�� ı 큅�Δ¿¿┐拭�
  2. 女たちは 樂を 奏し， 歌い 交わした． 「サウル は 千を 討ち ／ ダビデ は 万を 討った． 」
  3. サウル はこれを 聞いて 激怒し， 悔しがって 言った． 「ダビデ には 万， わたしには 千． あとは， 王位を 與えるだけか． 」
  4. この 日以來， サウル は ダビデ をねたみの 目で 見るようになった．
  5. 次の 日， 神からの 惡靈が 激しく サウル に 降り， 家の 中で 彼をものに 取りつかれた 狀態に 陷れた． ダビデ は 傍らでいつものように 竪琴を 奏でていた． サウル は， 槍を 手にしていたが，
  1. and he hurled it, saying to himself, "I'll pin David to the wall." But David eluded him twice.
  2. Saul was afraid of David, because the LORD was with David but had left Saul.
  3. So he sent David away from him and gave him command over a thousand men, and David led the troops in their campaigns.
  4. In everything he did he had great success, because the LORD was with him.
  5. When Saul saw how successful he was, he was afraid of him.
  1. ダビデ を 壁に 突き 刺そうとして， その 槍を 振りかざした． ダビデ は 二度とも， 身をかわした．
  2. 主は ダビデ と 共におられ， サウル を 離れ 去られたので， サウル は ダビデ を 恐れ，
  3. ダビデ を 遠ざけ， 千人隊の 長に 任命した． ダビデ は 兵士の 先頭に 立って 出陣し， また 歸還した．
  4. 主は 彼と 共におられ， 彼はどの 戰いにおいても 勝利を 收めた．
  5. サウル は， ダビデ が 勝利を 收めるのを 見て， 彼を 恐れた．
  1. But all Israel and Judah loved David, because he led them in their campaigns.
  2. Saul said to David, "Here is my older daughter Merab. I will give her to you in marriage; only serve me bravely and fight the battles of the LORD." For Saul said to himself, "I will not raise a hand against him. Let the Philistines do that!"
  3. But David said to Saul, "Who am I, and what is my family or my father's clan in Israel, that I should become the king's son-in-law?"
  4. So when the time came for Merab, Saul's daughter, to be given to David, she was given in marriage to Adriel of Meholah.
  5. Now Saul's daughter Michal was in love with David, and when they told Saul about it, he was pleased.
  1. イスラエル も ユダ も， すべての 人が ダビデ を 愛した． 彼が 出陣するにも 歸還するにも 彼らの 先頭に 立ったからである．
  2. サウル は ダビデ に 言った． 「わたしの 長女 メラブ を， お 前の 妻として 與えよう． わたしの 戰士となり， 主の 戰いをたたかってくれ． 」 サウル は 自分で ダビデ に 手を 下すことなく， ペリシテ 人の 手で 殺そうと 考えていた．
  3. ダビデ は サウル に 言った． 「わたしなど 何者でしょう． わたしの 一族， わたしの 父の 一族など イスラエル で 何者でしょう． わたしが 王の ¿になるとは． 」
  4. ところが， サウル の 娘 メラブ は ダビデ に 嫁ぐべきときに， メホラ 人 アドリエル に 嫁がせられた．
  5. サウル の 娘 ミカル は ダビデ を 愛していた． それを サウル に 告げる 者があり， サウル は 好都合だと 思った．
  1. "I will give her to him," he thought, "so that she may be a snare to him and so that the hand of the Philistines may be against him." So Saul said to David, "Now you have a second opportunity to become my son-in-law."
  2. Then Saul ordered his attendants: "Speak to David privately and say, 'Look, the king is pleased with you, and his attendants all like you; now become his son-in-law.' "
  3. They repeated these words to David. But David said, "Do you think it is a small matter to become the king's son-in-law? I'm only a poor man and little known."
  4. When Saul's servants told him what David had said,
  5. Saul replied, "Say to David, 'The king wants no other price for the bride than a hundred Philistine foreskins, to take revenge on his enemies.' " Saul's plan was to have David fall by the hands of the Philistines.
  1. サウル は， 「彼女を 與えて ダビデ を ┼にかけ， ペリシテ 人の 手にかけよう 」と 考え， ダビデ に 言った． 「二番目の 娘を 嫁にし， その 日わたしの ¿になりなさい． 」
  2. サウル は 家臣に 命じた． 「ダビデ にひそかにこう 言え． 『王はあなたが 氣に 入っておられるし， 家臣たちも 皆， あなたを 愛しているのだから， 王の ¿になってください． 』」
  3. サウル の 家臣はこれらの 言葉を ダビデ の 耳に 入れた． ダビデ は 言った． 「王の ¿になることが， あなたたちの 目には 容易なことと 見えるのですか． わたしは 貧しく， 身分も 低い 者です． 」
  4. サウル の 家臣は， ダビデ の 言ったことを サウル に 報告した．
  5. サウル は 言った． 「では， ダビデ にこう 言ってくれ． 『王は 結納金など 望んではおられない． 王の 望みは 王の 敵への 報復のしるし， ペリシテ 人の 陽皮百枚なのだ 』と． 」 サウル は ペリシテ 人の 手で ダビデ を 倒そうと 考えていた．
  1. When the attendants told David these things, he was pleased to become the king's son-in-law. So before the allotted time elapsed,
  2. David and his men went out and killed two hundred Philistines. He brought their foreskins and presented the full number to the king so that he might become the king's son-in-law. Then Saul gave him his daughter Michal in marriage.
  3. When Saul realized that the LORD was with David and that his daughter Michal loved David,
  4. Saul became still more afraid of him, and he remained his enemy the rest of his days.
  5. The Philistine commanders continued to go out to battle, and as often as they did, David met with more success than the rest of Saul's officers, and his name became well known.
  1. 家臣は ダビデ にこのことを 告げた． ダビデ はこうして 王の ¿になることは 良いことだと 思い， 何日もたたないうちに，
  2. 自分の 兵を 從えて 出立し， 二百人の ペリシテ 人を 討ち 取り， その 陽皮を 持ち 歸った． 王に 對し， ¿となる 條件である 陽皮の 數が 確かめられたので， サウル は 娘の ミカル を 彼に 妻として 與えなければならなかった．
  3. サウル は， 主が ダビデ と 共におられること， 娘 ミカル が ダビデ を 愛していることを 思い 知らされて，
  4. ダビデ をいっそう 恐れ， 生涯 ダビデ に 對して 敵意を 抱いた．
  5. ペリシテ の 將軍たちが 出擊して 來ると， ダビデ はそのたびに サウル の 家臣のだれよりも 武熏を 立て， 名聲を 得た．
 
  사울의 다윗 살해 시도(19:1-19:24)    
 
  1. Saul told his son Jonathan and all the attendants to kill David. But Jonathan was very fond of David
  2. and warned him, "My father Saul is looking for a chance to kill you. Be on your guard tomorrow morning; go into hiding and stay there.
  3. I will go out and stand with my father in the field where you are. I'll speak to him about you and will tell you what I find out."
  4. Jonathan spoke well of David to Saul his father and said to him, "Let not the king do wrong to his servant David; he has not wronged you, and what he has done has benefited you greatly.
  5. He took his life in his hands when he killed the Philistine. The LORD won a great victory for all Israel, and you saw it and were glad. Why then would you do wrong to an innocent man like David by killing him for no reason?"
  1. サウル は， 息子の ヨナタン と 家臣の 全員に， ダビデ を 殺すようにと 命じた． しかし， サウル の 息子 ヨナタン は ダビデ に 深い 愛情を 抱いていたので，
  2. ダビデ にこのことを 告げた． 「わたしの 父 サウル はあなたを 殺そうとねらっている． 朝になったら 注意して 隱れ 場にとどまり， 見つからないようにしていなさい．
  3. あなたのいる 野原にわたしは 出て 行って 父の 傍らに 立ち， あなたについて 父に 話してみる． 樣子を 見て， あなたに 知らせよう． 」
  4. ヨナタン は 父 サウル に ダビデ をかばって 話した． 「王がその 僕である ダビデ のゆえに， 罪を 犯したりなさいませんように． 彼は 父上に 對して 罪を 犯していないばかりか， 大變お 役に 立っているのです．
  5. 彼が 自分の 命をかけてあの ペリシテ 人を 討ったから， 主は イスラエル の 全軍に 大勝利をお 與えになったのです． あなたはそれを 見て， 喜び 祝われたではありませんか． なぜ， 罪なき 者の 血を 流し， 理由もなく ダビデ を 殺して， 罪を 犯そうとなさるのですか． 」
  1. Saul listened to Jonathan and took this oath: "As surely as the LORD lives, David will not be put to death."
  2. So Jonathan called David and told him the whole conversation. He brought him to Saul, and David was with Saul as before.
  3. Once more war broke out, and David went out and fought the Philistines. He struck them with such force that they fled before him.
  4. But an evil spirit from the LORD came upon Saul as he was sitting in his house with his spear in his hand. While David was playing the harp,
  5. Saul tried to pin him to the wall with his spear, but David eluded him as Saul drove the spear into the wall. That night David made good his escape.
  1. サウル は ヨナタン の 言葉を 聞き 入れて 誓った． 「主は 生きておられる． 彼を 殺しはしない． 」
  2. ヨナタン は ダビデ を 呼んで， これをすべて 彼に 告げた． ヨナタン は サウル のもとに ダビデ を 連れて 行き， ダビデ はこれまでどおり サウル に 仕えることになった．
  3. 戰いは 續いて 起こったが， ダビデ は ペリシテ 人を 討つために 出陣し， 大打擊を 與えたので， 彼らは ダビデ を 恐れて 逃げた．
  4. ときに， 主からの 惡靈が サウル に 降った． サウル は 館で 槍を 手にして 座り， ダビデ はその 傍らで 竪琴を 奏でていた．
  5. そのとき， サウル が ダビデ を 壁に 突き 刺そうとねらったが， ダビデ は サウル を 避け， 槍は 壁に 突き 刺さった． ダビデ は 逃げ， その 夜は 難を 免れた．
  1. Saul sent men to David's house to watch it and to kill him in the morning. But Michal, David's wife, warned him, "If you don't run for your life tonight, tomorrow you'll be killed."
  2. So Michal let David down through a window, and he fled and escaped.
  3. Then Michal took an idol and laid it on the bed, covering it with a garment and putting some goats' hair at the head.
  4. When Saul sent the men to capture David, Michal said, "He is ill."
  5. Then Saul sent the men back to see David and told them, "Bring him up to me in his bed so that I may kill him."
  1. サウル は ダビデ の 家に 使者を 遣わし， 彼を 見張らせ， 翌朝には 殺させようとした． ダビデ の 妻 ミカル は ダビデ に 言った． 「今夜中に 避難して 自分の 命を 守らなければ， 明日は 殺されます． 」
  2. ミカル は ダビデ を 窓からつり 降ろし， 彼は 逃げて 難を 免れた．
  3. ミカル は テラフィム を 寢床に 置き， その 頭に 山羊の 毛をかぶせ， それを 着物で 覆った．
  4. サウル は 使者を 遣わして ダビデ を 捕らえようとしたが， ミカル は， 「彼は 病氣です 」と 言った．
  5. サウル は ダビデ を 見舞うのだといって 使者を 遣わしたが， 「ダビデ を 寢床のままわたしのもとに 擔ぎ ¿め． 殺すのだ 」と 命じていた．
  1. But when the men entered, there was the idol in the bed, and at the head was some goats' hair.
  2. Saul said to Michal, "Why did you deceive me like this and send my enemy away so that he escaped?" Michal told him, "He said to me, 'Let me get away. Why should I kill you?' "
  3. When David had fled and made his escape, he went to Samuel at Ramah and told him all that Saul had done to him. Then he and Samuel went to Naioth and stayed there.
  4. Word came to Saul: "David is in Naioth at Ramah";
  5. so he sent men to capture him. But when they saw a group of prophets prophesying, with Samuel standing there as their leader, the Spirit of God came upon Saul's men and they also prophesied.
  1. 使者が 來てみると， 寢床には 山羊の 毛を 頭にかぶせた テラフィム が 置かれていた．
  2. サウル は ミカル に 言った． 「このようなことをしてわたしを 欺いたのはなぜだ． なぜお 前はわたしの 敵を 逃がし， 避難させたのか． 」 ミカル は サウル に 言った． 「あの 人は， 『わたしを 逃がせ． さもないとお 前を 殺す 』と 脅しました． 」
  3. 逃げて 難を 避けた ダビデ は， ラマ の サムエル のもとに 行って， サウル の 仕打ちをすべて 報告した． サムエル と ダビデ は ナヨト に 行き， そこにとどまった．
  4. ラマ の ナヨト に ダビデ がいる， と サウル に 告げる 者があり，
  5. サウル は ダビデ を 捕らえようと 使者を 遣わした． 彼らは 預言者の 一團が 預言しているのに 出會った． サムエル が 彼らの 先頭に 立っていた． 神の 靈は サウル の 使者の 上にも 降り， 彼らも 預言する 狀態になった．
  1. Saul was told about it, and he sent more men, and they prophesied too. Saul sent men a third time, and they also prophesied.
  2. Finally, he himself left for Ramah and went to the great cistern at Secu. And he asked, "Where are Samuel and David?" "Over in Naioth at Ramah," they said.
  3. So Saul went to Naioth at Ramah. But the Spirit of God came even upon him, and he walked along prophesying until he came to Naioth.
  4. He stripped off his robes and also prophesied in Samuel's presence. He lay that way all that day and night. This is why people say, "Is Saul also among the prophets?"
  1. サウル はこの 報告を 受けて， 他の 使者を 遣わしたが， 彼らもまた 預言する 狀態になった． 三度， サウル は 追っ 手を 送ったが， 彼らもまた 預言する 狀態になった．
  2. ついに， サウル 自身が ラマ に 向かい， セク の 大井戶まで 來て， 「サムエル と ダビデ はどこにいるのか 」と 尋ねた． 「ラマ の ナヨト です 」という 答えを 聞き，
  3. サウル は ラマ の ナヨト に 向かってそこを 去ったが， 彼の 上にも 神の 靈が 降り， 彼は 預言する 狀態になったまま， ラマ の ナヨト まで 步き 續けた．
  4. 彼は 着物を 脫ぎ 捨て， 預言する 狀態になったまま， その 日は 一¿夜， サムエル の 前に 裸のままで 倒れていた． このため， 「サウル もまた 預言者の 仲間か 」と 人¿は 言った．
