요한복음 11:45-12:19

 나사로의 부활 소식을 들은 유대 지도자들은 긴급 소집된 산헤드린 공회에서 예수님을 죽이려는 음모를 본격적으로 논의했다. 마리아가 나드 향유를 예수님의 발에 붓고 자기 머리털로 씻기자 예수님께서는 이는 자신의 장사를 위한 것이라며 그녀를 칭찬하셨다. 예수님은 나귀를 타고 예루살렘에 입성하여 무리들로부터 찬양을 받으셨다.
  
  예수를 죽이려는 음모(11:45-11:57)    
 
  1. Therefore many of the Jews who had come to visit Mary, and had seen what Jesus did, put their faith in him.
  2. But some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done.
  3. Then the chief priests and the Pharisees called a meeting of the Sanhedrin. "What are we accomplishing?" they asked. "Here is this man performing many miraculous signs.
  4. If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and then the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation."
  5. Then one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, spoke up, "You know nothing at all!
  1. マリア のところに 來て， イエス のなさったことを 目擊した ユダヤ 人の 多くは， イエス を 信じた．
  2. しかし， 中には， ファリサイ 派の 人¿のもとへ 行き， イエス のなさったことを 告げる 者もいた．
  3. そこで， 祭司長たちと ファリサイ 派の 人¿は 最高法院を 召集して 言った． 「この 男は 多くのしるしを 行っているが， どうすればよいか．
  4. このままにしておけば， 皆が 彼を 信じるようになる． そして， ロ ― マ 人が 來て， 我¿の 神殿も 國民も 滅ぼしてしまうだろう． 」
  5. 彼らの 中の 一人で， その 年の 大祭司であった カイアファ が 言った． 「あなたがたは 何も 分かっていない．
  1. You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish."
  2. He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation,
  3. and not only for that nation but also for the scattered children of God, to bring them together and make them one.
  4. So from that day on they plotted to take his life.
  5. Therefore Jesus no longer moved about publicly among the Jews. Instead he withdrew to a region near the desert, to a village called Ephraim, where he stayed with his disciples.
  1. 一人の 人間が 民の 代わりに 死に， 國民全體が 滅びないで 濟む 方が， あなたがたに 好都合だとは 考えないのか． 」
  2. これは， カイアファ が 自分の 考えから 話したのではない． その 年の 大祭司であったので 預言して， イエス が 國民のために 死ぬ， と 言ったのである．
  3. 國民のためばかりでなく， 散らされている 神の 子たちを 一つに 集めるためにも 死ぬ， と 言ったのである．
  4. この 日から， 彼らは イエス を 殺そうとたくらんだ．
  5. それで， イエス はもはや 公然と ユダヤ 人たちの 間を 步くことはなく， そこを 去り， 荒れ 野に 近い 地方の エフライム という 町に 行き， 弟子たちとそこに 滯在された．
  1. When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, many went up from the country to Jerusalem for their ceremonial cleansing before the Passover.
  2. They kept looking for Jesus, and as they stood in the temple area they asked one another, "What do you think? Isn't he coming to the Feast at all?"
  3. But the chief priests and Pharisees had given orders that if anyone found out where Jesus was, he should report it so that they might arrest him.
  1. さて， ユダヤ 人の 過越祭が 近づいた． 多くの 人が 身を 淸めるために， 過越祭の 前に 地方から エルサレム へ 上った．
  2. 彼らは イエス を 搜し， 神殿の 境內で 互いに 言った． 「どう 思うか． あの 人はこの 祭りには 來ないのだろうか． 」
  3. 祭司長たちと ファリサイ 派の 人¿は， イエス の 居どころが 分かれば 屆け 出よと， 命令を 出していた． イエス を 逮捕するためである．
 
  향유를 부은 마리아(12:1-12:19)    
 
  1. Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrived at Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.
  2. Here a dinner was given in Jesus' honor. Martha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him.
  3. Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
  4. But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected,
  5. "Why wasn't this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year's wages."
  1. 過越祭の 六日前に， イエス は ベタニア に 行かれた． そこには， イエス が 死者の 中からよみがえらせた ラザロ がいた．
  2. イエス のためにそこで 夕食が 用意され， マルタ は 給仕をしていた． ラザロ は， イエス と 共に 食事の 席に 着いた 人¿の 中にいた．
  3. そのとき， マリア が 純粹で 非常に 高價な ナルド の 香油を 一 リトラ 持って 來て， イエス の 足に 塗り， 自分の 髮でその 足をぬぐった． 家は 香油の 香りでいっぱいになった．
  4. 弟子の 一人で， 後に イエス を 裏切る イスカリオテ の ユダ が 言った．
  5. 「なぜ， この 香油を 三百 デナリオン で 賣って， 貧しい 人¿に 施さなかったのか． 」
  1. He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it.
  2. "Leave her alone," Jesus replied. " It was intended that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial.
  3. You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me."
  4. Meanwhile a large crowd of Jews found out that Jesus was there and came, not only because of him but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
  5. So the chief priests made plans to kill Lazarus as well,
  1. 彼がこう 言ったのは， 貧しい 人¿のことを 心にかけていたからではない． 彼は 盜人であって， 金入れを 預かっていながら， その 中身をごまかしていたからである．
  2. イエス は 言われた． 「この 人のするままにさせておきなさい． わたしの 葬りの 日のために， それを 取って 置いたのだから．
  3. 貧しい 人¿はいつもあなたがたと 一緖にいるが， わたしはいつも 一緖にいるわけではない． 」
  4. イエス がそこにおられるのを 知って， ユダヤ 人の 大群衆がやって 來た． それは イエス だけが 目當てではなく， イエス が 死者の 中からよみがえらせた ラザロ を 見るためでもあった．
  5. 祭司長たちは ラザロ をも 殺そうと 謀った．
  1. for on account of him many of the Jews were going over to Jesus and putting their faith in him.
  2. The next day the great crowd that had come for the Feast heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem.
  3. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, "Hosanna!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Blessed is the King of Israel!"
  4. Jesus found a young donkey and sat upon it, as it is written,
  5. "Do not be afraid, O Daughter of Zion; see, your king is coming, seated on a donkey's colt."
  1. 多くの ユダヤ 人が ラザロ のことで 離れて 行って， イエス を 信じるようになったからである．
  2. その 翌日， 祭りに 來ていた 大勢の 群衆は， イエス が エルサレム に 來られると 聞き，
  3. なつめやしの 枝を 持って 迎えに 出た． そして， 叫び 續けた． 「ホサナ ． 主の 名によって 來られる 方に， 祝福があるように， ／ イスラエル の 王に． 」
  4. イエス はろばの 子を 見つけて， お 乘りになった． 次のように 書いてあるとおりである．
  5. 「シオン の 娘よ， 恐れるな． 見よ， お 前の 王がおいでになる， ／ろばの 子に 乘って． 」
  1. At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that they had done these things to him.
  2. Now the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to spread the word.
  3. Many people, because they had heard that he had given this miraculous sign, went out to meet him.
  4. So the Pharisees said to one another, "See, this is getting us nowhere. Look how the whole world has gone after him!"
  1. 弟子たちは 最初これらのことが 分からなかったが， イエス が 榮光を 受けられたとき， それが イエス について 書かれたものであり， 人¿がそのとおりに イエス にしたということを 思い 出した．
  2. イエス が ラザロ を 墓から 呼び 出して， 死者の 中からよみがえらせたとき 一緖にいた 群衆は， その 證しをしていた．
  3. 群衆が イエス を 出迎えたのも， イエス がこのようなしるしをなさったと 聞いていたからである．
  4. そこで， ファリサイ 派の 人¿は 互いに 言った． 「見よ， 何をしても 無馱だ． 世をあげてあの 男について 行ったではないか． 」

  호산나( 12:13)  ‘우리를 구원하소서’라는 의미로, 메시아를 대망하는 표현
