- You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
- Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.
- So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment?
- Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance?
- But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.

- だから， すべて 人を 裁く 者よ， 弁解の 余地はない． あなたは， 他人を 裁きながら， 實は 自分自身を 罪に 定めている． あなたも 人を 裁いて， 同じことをしているからです．
- 神はこのようなことを 行う 者を 正しくお 裁きになると， わたしたちは 知っています．
- このようなことをする 者を 裁きながら， 自分でも 同じことをしている 者よ， あなたは， 神の 裁きを 逃れられると 思うのですか．
- あるいは， 神の 憐れみがあなたを 悔い 改めに 導くことも 知らないで， その 豊かな 慈愛と 寬容と 忍耐とを 輕んじるのですか．
- あなたは， かたくなで 心を 改めようとせず， 神の 怒りを 自分のために 蓄えています． この 怒りは， 神が 正しい 裁きを 行われる 怒りの 日に 現れるでしょう．

- God "will give to each person according to what he has done."
- To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
- But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
- There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;
- but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

- 神はおのおのの 行いに 從ってお 報いになります．
- すなわち， 忍耐强く 善を 行い， 榮光と 譽れと 不滅のものを 求める 者には， 永遠の 命をお 與えになり，
- 反抗心にかられ， 眞理ではなく 不義に 從う 者には， 怒りと 憤りをお 示しになります．
- すべて 惡を 行う 者には， ユダヤ 人はもとより ギリシア 人にも， 苦しみと 惱みが 下り，
- すべて 善を 行う 者には， ユダヤ 人はもとより ギリシア 人にも， 榮光と 譽れと 平和が 與えられます．

- For God does not show favoritism.
- All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.
- For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.
- (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law,
- since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.)

- 神は 人を 分け 隔てなさいません．
- 律法を 知らないで 罪を 犯した 者は 皆， この 律法と 關係なく 滅び， また， 律法の 下にあって 罪を 犯した 者は 皆， 律法によって 裁かれます．
- 律法を 聞く 者が 神の 前で 正しいのではなく， これを 實行する 者が， 義とされるからです．
- たとえ 律法を 持たない 異邦人も， 律法の 命じるところを 自然に 行えば， 律法を 持たなくとも， 自分自身が 律法なのです．
- こういう 人¿は， 律法の 要求する 事柄がその 心に 記されていることを 示しています． 彼らの 良心もこれを 證ししており， また 心の 思いも， 互いに 責めたり 弁明し 合って， 同じことを 示しています．
