고린도전서 9:19-10:13

 바울은 복음을 위하여 유대인에게는 유대인처럼, 이방인에게는 이방인처럼, 약한 자들에게는 약한 자처럼 행하였다고 고백하였다. 그리고 이스라엘 출애굽 과정 동안 하나님께 행한 범죄를 거울 삼아 죄악에서 돌아설 것을 권면하였다.
  
  모든 사람의 종(9:19-9:27)    
 
  1. Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.
  2. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law.
  3. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law.
  4. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.
  5. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
  1. わたしは， だれに 對しても 自由な 者ですが， すべての 人の 奴隷になりました． できるだけ 多くの 人を 得るためです．
  2. ユダヤ 人に 對しては， ユダヤ 人のようになりました． ユダヤ 人を 得るためです． 律法に 支配されている 人に 對しては， わたし 自身はそうではないのですが， 律法に 支配されている 人のようになりました． 律法に 支配されている 人を 得るためです．
  3. また， わたしは 神の 律法を 持っていないわけではなく， キリスト の 律法に 從っているのですが， 律法を 持たない 人に 對しては， 律法を 持たない 人のようになりました． 律法を 持たない 人を 得るためです．
  4. 弱い 人に 對しては， 弱い 人のようになりました． 弱い 人を 得るためです． すべての 人に 對してすべてのものになりました． 何とかして 何人かでも 救うためです．
  5. 福音のためなら， わたしはどんなことでもします． それは， わたしが 福音に 共にあずかる 者となるためです．
  1. Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
  2. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
  3. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air.
  4. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
  1. あなたがたは 知らないのですか． 競技場で 走る 者は 皆走るけれども， 賞を 受けるのは 一人だけです． あなたがたも 賞を 得るように 走りなさい．
  2. 競技をする 人は 皆， すべてに 節制します． 彼らは 朽ちる 冠を 得るためにそうするのですが， わたしたちは， 朽ちない 冠を 得るために 節制するのです．
  3. だから， わたしとしては， やみくもに 走ったりしないし， 空を 打つような 拳鬪もしません．
  4. むしろ， 自分の 體を 打ちたたいて 服從させます． それは， 他の 人¿に 宣敎しておきながら， 自分の 方が 失格者になってしまわないためです．
 
  역사의 교훈(10:1-10:13)    
 
  1. For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea.
  2. They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.
  3. They all ate the same spiritual food
  4. and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.
  5. Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered over the desert.
  1. 兄弟たち， 次のことはぜひ 知っておいてほしい． わたしたちの 先祖は 皆， 雲の 下におり， 皆， 海を 通り 拔け，
  2. 皆， 雲の 中， 海の 中で， モ ― セ に 屬するものとなる 洗禮を 授けられ，
  3. 皆， 同じ 靈的な 食物を 食べ，
  4. 皆が 同じ 靈的な 飮み 物を 飮みました． 彼らが 飮んだのは， 自分たちに 離れずについて 來た 靈的な 岩からでしたが， この 岩こそ キリスト だったのです．
  5. しかし， 彼らの 大部分は 神の 御心に 適わず， 荒れ 野で 滅ぼされてしまいました．
  1. Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did.
  2. Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: "The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in pagan revelry."
  3. We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did--and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died.
  4. We should not test the Lord, as some of them did--and were killed by snakes.
  5. And do not grumble, as some of them did--and were killed by the destroying angel.
  1. これらの 出來事は， わたしたちを 戒める 前例として 起こったのです． 彼らが 惡をむさぼったように， わたしたちが 惡をむさぼることのないために．
  2. 彼らの 中のある 者がしたように， 偶像を 禮拜してはいけない． 「民は 座って 飮み 食いし， 立って 踊り 狂った 」と 書いてあります．
  3. 彼らの 中のある 者がしたように， みだらなことをしないようにしよう． みだらなことをした 者は， 一日で 二万三千人倒れて 死にました．
  4. また， 彼らの 中のある 者がしたように， キリスト を 試みないようにしよう． 試みた 者は， 蛇にかまれて 滅びました．
  5. 彼らの 中には 不平を 言う 者がいたが， あなたがたはそのように 不平を 言ってはいけない． 不平を 言った 者は， 滅ぼす 者に 滅ぼされました．
  1. These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come.
  2. So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall!
  3. No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
  1. これらのことは 前例として 彼らに 起こったのです． それが 書き 傳えられているのは， 時の 終わりに 直面しているわたしたちに 警告するためなのです．
  2. だから， 立っていると 思う 者は， 倒れないように 氣をつけるがよい．
  3. あなたがたを 襲った 試練で， 人間として 耐えられないようなものはなかったはずです． 神は 眞實な 方です． あなたがたを 耐えられないような 試練に 遭わせることはなさらず， 試練と 共に， それに 耐えられるよう， 逃れる 道をも 備えていてくださいます．
