- We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.
- For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment,
- how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.

- だから， わたしたちは 聞いたことにいっそう 注意を 拂わねばなりません． そうでないと， 押し 流されてしまいます．
- もし， 天使たちを 通して 語られた 言葉が 效力を 發し， すべての 違犯や 不從順が 當然な 罰を 受けたとするならば，
- ましてわたしたちは， これほど 大きな 救いに 對してむとんちゃくでいて， どうして 罰を 逃れることができましょう． この 救いは， 主が 最初に 語られ， それを 聞いた 人¿によってわたしたちに 確かなものとして 示され，
- 更に 神もまた， しるし， 不思議な 業， さまざまな 奇跡， 聖靈の 賜物を 御心に 從って 分け 與えて， 證ししておられます．
- 神は， わたしたちが 語っている 來るべき 世界を， 天使たちに 從わせるようなことはなさらなかったのです．

- But there is a place where someone has testified: "What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
- You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor
- and put everything under his feet?In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to him.
- But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
- In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering.

- ある 個所で， 次のようにはっきり 證しされています． 「あなたが 心に 留められる 人間とは， 何者なのか． また， あなたが 顧みられる 人の 子とは， 何者なのか．
- あなたは 彼を 天使たちよりも， ／わずかの 間， 低い 者とされたが， ／榮光と 榮譽の 冠を 授け，
- すべてのものを， その 足の 下に 從わせられました． 」「すべてのものを 彼に 從わせられた 」と 言われている 以上， この 方に 從わないものは 何も 殘っていないはずです． しかし， わたしたちはいまだに， すべてのものがこの 方に 從っている 樣子を 見ていません．
- ただ， 「天使たちよりも， わずかの 間， 低い 者とされた 」 イエス が， 死の 苦しみのゆえに， 「榮光と 榮譽の 冠を 授けられた 」のを 見ています． 神の 惠みによって， すべての 人のために 死んでくださったのです．

- Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers.
