- また， わたしは 大きな 聲が 神殿から 出て， 七人の 天使にこう 言うのを 聞いた． 「行って， 七つの 鉢に 盛られた 神の 怒りを 地上に 注ぎなさい． 」
- そこで， 第一の 天使が 出て 行って， その 鉢の 中身を 地上に 注ぐと， ¿の 刻印を 押されている 人間たち， また， ¿の 像を 禮拜する 者たちに 惡性のはれ 物ができた．
- 第二の 天使が， その 鉢の 中身を 海に 注ぐと， 海は 死人の 血のようになって， その 中の 生き 物はすべて 死んでしまった．
- 第三の 天使が， その 鉢の 中身を 川と 水の 源に 注ぐと， 水は 血になった．
- そのとき， わたしは 水をつかさどる 天使がこう 言うのを 聞いた． 「今おられ， かつておられた 聖なる 方， ／あなたは 正しい 方です． このような 裁きをしてくださったからです．

- 第四の 天使が， その 鉢の 中身を 太陽に 注ぐと， 太陽は 人間を 火で 燒くことを 許された．
- 人間は， 激しい 熱で 燒かれ， この 災いを 支配する 權威を 持つ 神の 名を 冒瀆した． そして， 悔い 改めて 神の 榮光をたたえることをしなかった．

- From the sky huge hailstones of about a hundred pounds each fell upon men. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.
