역대상 9:1-10:14

 포로 귀환 후 예루살렘에 거주하게 된 지파들과 귀환한 제사장, 레위인들, 그리고 사울의 족보가 기록되어 있다. 하나님 앞에 범죄한 사울은 블레셋과의 전투에서 패배함으로써 스스로 자살하는 비극적인 최후를 맞았다.
  
  포로 귀환자들(9:1-9:34)    
 
  1. 온 이스라엘이 그 보계대로 계수되고 이스라엘 열왕기에 기록되니라 유다가 범죄함을 인하여 바벨론으로 사로잡혀 갔더니
  2. 먼저 그 본성으로 돌아와서 그 기업에 거한 자는 이스라엘 제사장들과 레위 사람과 느디님 사람들이라
  3. 유다 자손과 베냐민 자손과 에브라임과 므낫세 자손 중에서 예루살렘에 거한 자는
  4. 유다의 아들 베레스 자손 중에 우대니 저는 암미훗의 아들이요 오므리의 손자요 이므리의 증손이요 바니의 현손이며
  5. 실로 사람 중에서는 장자 아사야와 그 아들들이요
  1. All Israel was listed in the genealogies recorded in the book of the kings of Israel. The people of Judah were taken captive to Babylon because of their unfaithfulness.
  2. Now the first to resettle on their own property in their own towns were some Israelites, priests, Levites and temple servants.
  3. Those from Judah, from Benjamin, and from Ephraim and Manasseh who lived in Jerusalem were:
  4. Uthai son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, a descendant of Perez son of Judah.
  5. Of the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn and his sons.
  1. 세라 자손 중에서는 여우엘과 그 형제 육백 구십인이요
  2. 베냐민 자손 중에서는 핫스누아의 증손 호다위아의 손자 므술람의 아들 살루요
  3. 여로함의 아들 이브느야와 미그리의 손자 웃시의 아들 엘라요 이브니야의 증손 르우엘의 손자 스바댜의 아들 무술람이요
  4. 또 저의 형제들이라 그 보계대로 계수하면 구백 오십 륙인이니 다 그 집의 족장된 자들이더라
  5. 제사장 중에서는 여다야와 여호야립과 야긴과
  1. Of the Zerahites: Jeuel. The people from Judah numbered 690.
  2. Of the Benjamites: Sallu son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah;
  3. Ibneiah son of Jeroham; Elah son of Uzzi, the son of Micri; and Meshullam son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah.
  4. The people from Benjamin, as listed in their genealogy, numbered 956. All these men were heads of their families.
  5. Of the priests: Jedaiah; Jehoiarib; Jakin;
  1. 하나님의 전을 맡은 자 아사랴니 저는 힐기야의 아들이요 므술람의 손자요 사독의 증손이요 므라욧의 현손이요 아히둡의 오대손이며
  2. 또 아다야니 저는 여로함의 아들이요 바스훌의 손자요 말기야의 증손이며 또 마아새니 저는 아디엘의 아들이요 야세라의 손자요 므술람의 증손이요 므실레밋의 현손이요 임멜의 오대손이며
  3. 또 그 형제들이니 그 집의 족장이라 하나님의 전의 일에 수종들 재능이 있는 자가 모두 일천 칠백 륙십인이더라
  4. 레위 사람 중에서는 므라리 자손 스마야니 저는 핫숩의 아들이요 아스리감의 손자요 하사뱌의 증손이며
  5. 또 박박갈과 헤레스와 갈랄과 맛다냐니 저는 미가의 아들이요 시그리의 손자요 아삽의 증손이며
  1. Azariah son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the official in charge of the house of God;
  2. Adaiah son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malkijah; and Maasai son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer.
  3. The priests, who were heads of families, numbered 1,760. They were able men, responsible for ministering in the house of God.
  4. Of the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, a Merarite;
  5. Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal and Mattaniah son of Mica, the son of Zicri, the son of Asaph;
  1. 또 오바댜니 저는 스마야의 아들이요 갈랄의 손자요 여두둔의 증손이며 또 베레갸니 저는 아사의 아들이요 엘가나의 손자라 느도바 사람의 향리에 거하였더라
  2. 문지기는 살룸과 악굽과 달몬과 아히만과 그 형제들이니 살룸은 그 두목이라
  3. 이 사람들은 전에 왕의 문 동편 곧 레위 자손의 영의 문지기며
  4. 고라의 증손 에비아삽의 손자 고레의 아들 살룸과 그 종족 형제 곧 고라의 자손이 수종드는 일을 맡아 성막 문들을 지켰으니 그 열조도 여호와의 영을 맡고 그 들어가는 곳을 지켰으며
  5. 여호와께서 함께하신 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스가 옛적에 그 무리를 거느렸고
  1. Obadiah son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berekiah son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.
  2. The gatekeepers: Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman and their brothers, Shallum their chief
  3. being stationed at the King's Gate on the east, up to the present time. These were the gatekeepers belonging to the camp of the Levites.
  4. Shallum son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his fellow gatekeepers from his family (the Korahites) were responsible for guarding the thresholds of the Tent just as their fathers had been responsible for guarding the entrance to the dwelling of the LORD.
  5. In earlier times Phinehas son of Eleazar was in charge of the gatekeepers, and the LORD was with him.
  1. 므셀레먀의 아들 스가랴는 회막 문지기가 되었더라
  2. 택함을 입어 문지기 된 자가 모두 이백 열 둘이니 이는 그 향리에서 그 보계대로 계수된 자요 다윗과 선견자 사무엘이 전에 세워서 이 직분을 맡긴 자라
  3. 저희와 그 자손이 그 반열을 좇아 여호와의 전 곧 성막문을 지켰는데
  4. 이 문지기가 동, 서, 남, 북 사방에 섰고
  5. 그 향리에 있는 형제들은 이레마다 와서 함께하니
  1. Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was the gatekeeper at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
  2. Altogether, those chosen to be gatekeepers at the thresholds numbered 212. They were registered by genealogy in their villages. The gatekeepers had been assigned to their positions of trust by David and Samuel the seer.
  3. They and their descendants were in charge of guarding the gates of the house of the LORD -the house called the Tent.
  4. The gatekeepers were on the four sides: east, west, north and south.
  5. Their brothers in their villages had to come from time to time and share their duties for seven-day periods.
  1. 이는 문지기의 두목 된 레위 사람 넷이 긴요한 직분을 맡아 하나님의 전 모든 방과 곳간을 지켰음이라
  2. 저희는 하나님의 전을 맡은 직분이 있으므로 전 사면에 유하며 아침마다 문을 여는 책임이 있었더라
  3. 그 중에 어떤 자는 섬기는데 쓰는 기명을 맡아서 그 수효대로 들여가고 수효대로 내어오며
  4. 또 어떤 자는 성소의 기구와 모든 기명과 고운 가루와 포도주와 기름과 유향과 향품을 맡았으며
  5. 또 제사장의 아들 중에 어떤 자는 향품으로 향기름을 만들었으며
  1. But the four principal gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted with the responsibility for the rooms and treasuries in the house of God.
  2. They would spend the night stationed around the house of God, because they had to guard it; and they had charge of the key for opening it each morning.
  3. Some of them were in charge of the articles used in the temple service; they counted them when they were brought in and when they were taken out.
  4. Others were assigned to take care of the furnishings and all the other articles of the sanctuary, as well as the flour and wine, and the oil, incense and spices.
  5. But some of the priests took care of mixing the spices.
  1. 고라 자손 살룸의 장자 맛디댜라 하는 레위 사람은 남비에 지지는 것을 맡았으며
  2. 또 그 형제 그핫 자손 중에 어떤 자는 진설하는 떡을 맡아 안식일마다 준비하였더라
  3. 또 찬송하는 자가 있으니 곧 레위 족장이라 저희가 골방에 거하여 주야로 자기 직분에 골몰하므로 다른 일은 하지 아니하였더라
  4. 이상은 대대로 레위의 족장이요 으뜸이라 예루살렘에 거하였더라
  1. A Levite named Mattithiah, the firstborn son of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with the responsibility for baking the offering bread.
  2. Some of their Kohathite brothers were in charge of preparing for every Sabbath the bread set out on the table.
  3. Those who were musicians, heads of Levite families, stayed in the rooms of the temple and were exempt from other duties because they were responsible for the work day and night.
  4. All these were heads of Levite families, chiefs as listed in their genealogy, and they lived in Jerusalem.
 
  사울의 족보와 죽음(9:35-10:14)    
 
  1. 기브온의 조상 여이엘은 기브온에 거하였으니 그 아내의 이름은 마아가라
  2. 그 장자는 압돈이요 다음은 술과 기스와 바알과 넬과 나답과
  3. 그돌과 아히오와 스가랴와 미글롯이며
  4. 미글롯은 시므암을 낳았으니 이 무리도 그 형제로 더불어 서로 대하여 예루살렘에 거하였더라
  5. 넬은 기스를 낳았고 기스는 사울을 낳았고 사울은 요나단과 말기수아와 아비나답과 에스바알을 낳았으며
  1. Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon. His wife's name was Maacah,
  2. and his firstborn son was Abdon, followed by Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
  3. Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah and Mikloth.
  4. Mikloth was the father of Shimeam. They too lived near their relatives in Jerusalem.
  5. Ner was the father of Kish, Kish the father of Saul, and Saul the father of Jonathan, Malki-Shua, Abinadab and Esh-Baal.
  1. 요나단의 아들은 므립바알이라 므립바알이 미가를 낳았고
  2. 미가의 아들들은 비돈과 멜렉과 다레아와 아하스며
  3. 아하스는 야라를 낳았고 야라는 알레멧과 아스마웻（아스마웨ㅅ）과 시므리를 낳았고 시므리는 모사를 낳았고
  4. 모사는 비느아를 낳았으며 비느아의 아들은 르바야요 그 아들은 엘르아사요 그 아들은 아셀이며
  5. 아셀이 여섯 아들이 있으니 그 이름은 아스리감과 보그루와 이스마엘과 스아랴와 오바댜와 하난이라 아셀의 아들들이 이러하였더라
  1. The son of Jonathan: Merib-Baal, who was the father of Micah.
  2. The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea and Ahaz.
  3. Ahaz was the father of Jadah, Jadah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri, and Zimri was the father of Moza.
  4. Moza was the father of Binea; Rephaiah was his son, Eleasah his son and Azel his son.
  5. Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.
 
 
  1. 블레셋 사람과 이스라엘이 싸우더니 이스라엘 사람들이 블레셋 사람 앞에서 도망하다가 길보아산에서 죽임을 받고 엎드러지니라
  2. 블레셋 사람이 사울과 그 아들들을 추격하여 사울의 아들 요나단과 아비나답과 말기수아를 죽이고
  3. 사울을 맹렬히 치며 활 쏘는 자가 사울에게 따라 미치매 사울이 그 쏘는 자를 인하여 심히 군급하여
  4. 자기의 병기 가진 자에게 이르되 너는 칼을 빼어 나를 찌르라 저 할례 없는 자가 와서 나를 욕되게 할까 두려워하노라 그러나 그 병기 가진 자가 심히 두려워하여 즐겨 행치 아니하매 사울이 자기 칼을 취하고 그 위에 엎드러지니
  5. 병기 가진 자가 사울의 죽음을 보고 자기도 칼에 엎드러져 죽으니라
  1. Now the Philistines fought against Israel; the Israelites fled before them, and many fell slain on Mount Gilboa.
  2. The Philistines pressed hard after Saul and his sons, and they killed his sons Jonathan, Abinadab and Malki-Shua.
  3. The fighting grew fierce around Saul, and when the archers overtook him, they wounded him.
  4. Saul said to his armor-bearer, "Draw your sword and run me through, or these uncircumcised fellows will come and abuse me." But his armor-bearer was terrified and would not do it; so Saul took his own sword and fell on it.
  5. When the armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he too fell on his sword and died.
  1. 이와 같이 사울과 그 세 아들과 그 온 집이 함께 죽으니라
  2. 골짜기에 있는 모든 이스라엘 사람이 저희의 도망한 것과 사울과 그 아들들의 다 죽은 것을 보고 그 성읍들을 버리고 도망하매 블레셋 사람이 와서 거기 거하니라
  3. 이튿날에 블레셋 사람이 와서 죽임을 당한 자를 벗기다가 사울과 그 아들들이 길보아산에 엎드러졌음을 보고
  4. 곧 사울을 벗기고 그 머리와 갑옷을 취하고 사람을 블레셋 땅 사방에 보내어 모든 우상과 뭇 백성에게 광포하게 하고
  5. 사울의 갑옷을 그 신의 묘에 두고 그 머리를 다곤의 묘에 단지라
  1. So Saul and his three sons died, and all his house died together.
  2. When all the Israelites in the valley saw that the army had fled and that Saul and his sons had died, they abandoned their towns and fled. And the Philistines came and occupied them.
  3. The next day, when the Philistines came to strip the dead, they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.
  4. They stripped him and took his head and his armor, and sent messengers throughout the land of the Philistines to proclaim the news among their idols and their people.
  5. They put his armor in the temple of their gods and hung up his head in the temple of Dagon.
  1. 길르앗야베스 모든 사람이 블레셋 사람의 사울에게 행한 모든 일을 듣고
  2. 용사들이 다 일어나서 사울의 시체와 그 아들들의 시체를 취하여 야베스로 가져다가 그곳 상수리나무 아래 그 해골을 장사하고 칠일을 금식하였더라
  3. 사울의 죽은 것은 여호와께 범죄하였음이라 저가 여호와의 말씀을 지키지 아니하고 또 신접한 자에게 가르치기를 청하고
  4. 여호와께 묻지 아니하였으므로 여호와께서 저를 죽이시고 그 나라를 이새의 아들 다윗에게 돌리셨더라
  1. When all the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead heard of everything the Philistines had done to Saul,
  2. all their valiant men went and took the bodies of Saul and his sons and brought them to Jabesh. Then they buried their bones under the great tree in Jabesh, and they fasted seven days.
  3. Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD; he did not keep the word of the LORD and even consulted a medium for guidance,
  4. and did not inquire of the LORD. So the LORD put him to death and turned the kingdom over to David son of Jesse.
 
  군급(窘急, 10:3)  사정이 곤란하고 다급함  
  다곤( 10:10)  상체는 사람 형상을, 하체는 물고기 형상을 한 우상으로 블레셋인이 숭배하던 신
