이사야 31:1-33:24

 이사야는 하나님께 의지하지 않고 애굽에 도움을 구한 자들은 심판받을 것이며,예루살렘은 보호받고 앗수르는 망할 것이라고 하였다. 그리고 장차 의의 왕이신 메시아의 통치로 말미암아 방백들은 공평으로 일할 것이라고 하였다. 또한 경고를 받지 않는 안일한 여자들은 환난 날에 수치를 당할 것이라고 하면서, 하나님께서 위로부터 성신을 부어 주셔서 공평과 의를 펴시고 학대받는 자들의 구원이 되실 것이라고 예언하였다.
  
  불신앙에 대한 심판(31:1-31:9)    
 
  1. 도움을 구하러 애굽으로 내려가는 자들은 화 있을찐저 그들은 말을 의뢰하며 병거의 많음과 마병의 심히 강함을 의지하고 이스라엘의 거룩하신 자를 앙모치 아니하며 여호와를 구하지 아니하거니와
  2. 여호와께서도 지혜로우신즉 재앙을 내리실 것이라 그 말을 변치 아니하시고 일어나사 악행하는 자의 집을 치시며 행악을 돕는 자를 치시리니
  3. 애굽은 사람이요 신이 아니며 그 말들은 육체요 영이 아니라 여호와께서 그 손을 드시면 돕는 자도 넘어지며 도움을 받는 자도 엎드러져서 다 함께 멸망하리라
  4. 여호와께서 이같이 내게 이르시되 큰 사자나 젊은 사자가 그 식물을 움키고 으르렁거릴 때에 그것을 치려고 여러 목자가 불려 왔다 할찌라도 그것이 그들의 소리로 인하여 놀라지 아니할 것이요 그들의 떠듦을 인하여 굴복지 아니할 것이라 이와 같이 나 만군의 여호와가 강림하여 시온산과 그 영 위에서 싸울 것이며
  5. 새가 날개치며 그 새끼를 보호함 같이 나 만군의 여호와가 예루살렘을 보호할 것이라 그것을 호위하며 건지며 넘어와서 구원하리라 하셨나니
  1. Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the LORD.
  2. Yet he too is wise and can bring disaster; he does not take back his words. He will rise up against the house of the wicked, against those who help evildoers.
  3. But the Egyptians are men and not God; their horses are flesh and not spirit. When the LORD stretches out his hand, he who helps will stumble, he who is helped will fall; both will perish together.
  4. This is what the LORD says to me: "As a lion growls, a great lion over his prey-- and though a whole band of shepherds is called together against him, he is not frightened by their shouts or disturbed by their clamor-- so the LORD Almighty will come down to do battle on Mount Zion and on its heights.
  5. Like birds hovering overhead, the LORD Almighty will shield Jerusalem; he will shield it and deliver it, he will 'pass over' it and will rescue it."
  1. 이스라엘 자손들아 너희는 심히 거역하던 자에게로 돌아오라
  2. 너희가 자기 손으로 만들어 범죄한 은우상, 금우상을 그 날에는 각 사람이 던져버릴 것이며
  3. 앗수르는 칼에 엎더질 것이나 사람의 칼로 말미암음이 아니겠고 칼에 삼키울 것이나 여러 사람의 칼로 말미암음이 아닐 것이며 그는 칼 앞에서 도망할 것이요 그 장정들은 복역하는 자가 될 것이라
  4. 그의 반석은 두려움을 인하여 물러가겠고 그의 방백들은 기호를 인하여 놀라리라 이는 여호와의 말씀이라 여호와의 불은 시온에 있고 여호와의 풀무는 예루살렘에 있느니라
  1. Return to him you have so greatly revolted against, O Israelites.
  2. For in that day every one of you will reject the idols of silver and gold your sinful hands have made.
  3. "Assyria will fall by a sword that is not of man; a sword, not of mortals, will devour them. They will flee before the sword and their young men will be put to forced labor.
  4. Their stronghold will fall because of terror; at sight of the battle standard their commanders will panic," declares the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, whose furnace is in Jerusalem.
 
  의의 나라(32:1-32:20)    
 
  1. 보라 장차 한 왕이 의로 통치할 것이요 방백들이 공평으로 정사할 것이며
  2. 또 그 사람은 광풍을 피하는 곳, 폭우를 가리우는 곳 같을 것이며 마른 땅에 냇물 같을 것이며 곤비한 땅에 큰 바위 그늘 같으리니
  3. 보는 자의 눈이 감기지 아니할 것이요 듣는 자의 귀가 기울어질 것이며
  4. 조급한 자의 마음이 지식을 깨닫고 어눌한 자의 혀가 민첩하여 말을 분명히 할 것이라
  5. 어리석은 자를 다시 존귀하다 칭하지 아니하겠고 궤휼한 자를 다시 정대하다 말하지 아니하리니
  1. See, a king will reign in righteousness and rulers will rule with justice.
  2. Each man will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.
  3. Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen.
  4. The mind of the rash will know and understand, and the stammering tongue will be fluent and clear.
  5. No longer will the fool be called noble nor the scoundrel be highly respected.
  1. 이는 어리석은 자는 어리석은 것을 말하며 그 마음에 불의를 품어 간사를 행하며 패역한 말로 여호와를 거스리며 주린 자의 심령을 비게 하며 목마른 자의 마시는 것을 없어지게 함이며
  2. 궤휼한 자는 그 그릇이 악하여 악한 계획을 베풀어 거짓말로 가련한 자를 멸하며 빈핍한 자가 말을 바르게 할찌라도 그리함이어니와
  3. 고명한 자는 고명한 일을 도모하나니 그는 항상 고명한 일에 서리라
  4. 너희 안일한 부녀들아 일어나 내 목소리를 들을찌어다 너희 염려 없는 딸들아 내 말에 귀를 기울일찌어다
  5. 너희 염려 없는 여자들아 일년 남짓이 지나면 너희가 당황하여 하리니 포도 수확이 없으며 열매 거두는 기한이 이르지 않을 것임이니라
  1. For the fool speaks folly, his mind is busy with evil: He practices ungodliness and spreads error concerning the LORD; the hungry he leaves empty and from the thirsty he withholds water.
  2. The scoundrel's methods are wicked, he makes up evil schemes to destroy the poor with lies, even when the plea of the needy is just.
  3. But the noble man makes noble plans, and by noble deeds he stands.
  4. You women who are so complacent, rise up and listen to me; you daughters who feel secure, hear what I have to say!
  5. In little more than a year you who feel secure will tremble; the grape harvest will fail, and the harvest of fruit will not come.
  1. 너희 안일한 여자들아 떨찌어다 너희 염려 없는 자들아 당황하여 할찌어다 옷을 벗어 몸을 드러내고 베로 허리를 동일찌어다
  2. 좋은 밭을 위하며 열매 많은 포도나무를 위하여 가슴을 치게 될 것이니라
  3. 형극과 질려가 내 백성의 땅에 나며 희락의 성읍, 기뻐하는 모든 집에 나리니
  4. 대저 궁전이 폐한바 되며 인구 많던 성읍이 적막하며 산과 망대가 영영히 굴혈이 되며 들 나귀의 즐겨하는 곳과 양떼의 풀 먹는 곳이 될 것임이어니와
  5. 필경은 위에서부터 성신을 우리에게 부어주시리니 광야가 아름다운 밭이 되며 아름다운 밭을 삼림으로 여기게 되리라
  1. Tremble, you complacent women; shudder, you daughters who feel secure! Strip off your clothes, put sackcloth around your waists.
  2. Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vines
  3. and for the land of my people, a land overgrown with thorns and briers-- yes, mourn for all houses of merriment and for this city of revelry.
  4. The fortress will be abandoned, the noisy city deserted; citadel and watchtower will become a wasteland forever, the delight of donkeys, a pasture for flocks,
  5. till the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest.
  1. 그 때에 공평이 광야에 거하며 의가 아름다운 밭에 있으리니
  2. 의의 공효는 화평이요 의의 결과는 영원한 평안과 안전이라
  3. 내 백성이 화평한 집과 안전한 거처와 종용히 쉬는 곳에 있으려니와
  4. 먼저 그 삼림은 우박에 상하고 성읍은 파괴되리라
  5. 모든 물가에 씨를 뿌리고 소와 나귀를 그리로 모는 너희는 복이 있느니라
  1. Justice will dwell in the desert and righteousness live in the fertile field.
  2. The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.
  3. My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.
  4. Though hail flattens the forest and the city is leveled completely,
  5. how blessed you will be, sowing your seed by every stream, and letting your cattle and donkeys range free.
 
  주의 구원(33:1-33:24)    
 
  1. 화 있을찐저 너 학대를 당치 아니하고도 학대하며 속임을 입지 아니하고도 속이는 자여 네가 학대하기를 마치면 네가 학대를 당할 것이며 네가 속이기를 그치면 사람이 너를 속이리라
  2. 여호와여 우리에게 은혜를 베푸소서 우리가 주를 앙망하오니 주는 아침마다 우리의 팔이 되시며 환난 때에 우리의 구원이 되소서
  3. 진동 시키시는 소리로 인하여 민족들이 도망하며 주께서 일어나심으로 인하여 열방이 흩어졌나이다
  4. 황충의 모임 같이 사람이 너희 노략물을 모을 것이며 메뚜기의 뛰어 오름 같이 그들이 그 위로 뛰어 오르리라
  5. 여호와께서는 지존하시니 이는 높은데 거하심이요 공평과 의로 시온에 충만케 하심이라
  1. Woe to you, O destroyer, you who have not been destroyed! Woe to you, O traitor, you who have not been betrayed! When you stop destroying, you will be destroyed; when you stop betraying, you will be betrayed.
  2. O LORD, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.
  3. At the thunder of your voice, the peoples flee; when you rise up, the nations scatter.
  4. Your plunder, O nations, is harvested as by young locusts; like a swarm of locusts men pounce on it.
  5. The LORD is exalted, for he dwells on high; he will fill Zion with justice and righteousness.
  1. 너의 시대에 평안함이 있으며 구원과 지혜와 지식이 풍성할 것이니 여호와를 경외함이 너의 보배니라
  2. 보라 그들의 용사가 밖에서 부르짖으며 평화의 사신들이 슬피 곡하며
  3. 대로가 황폐하여 행인이 끊치며 대적이 조약을 파하고 성읍들을 멸시하며 사람을 생각지 아니하며
  4. 땅이 슬퍼하고 쇠잔하며 레바논은 부끄러워 마르고 사론은 사막과 같고 바산과 갈멜은 목엽을 떨어치는도다
  5. 여호와께서 가라사대 내가 이제 일어나며 내가 이제 나를 높이며 내가 이제 지극히 높이우리니
  1. He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure.
  2. Look, their brave men cry aloud in the streets; the envoys of peace weep bitterly.
  3. The highways are deserted, no travelers are on the roads. The treaty is broken, its witnesses are despised, no one is respected.
  4. The land mourns and wastes away, Lebanon is ashamed and withers; Sharon is like the Arabah, and Bashan and Carmel drop their leaves.
  5. "Now will I arise," says the LORD. "Now will I be exalted; now will I be lifted up.
  1. 너희가 겨를 잉태하고 짚을 해산할 것이며 너희의 호흡은 불이 되어 너희를 삼킬 것이며
  2. 민족들은 불에 굽는 횟돌 같겠고 베어서 불에 사르는 가시나무 같으리로다
  3. 너희 먼데 있는 자들아 나의 행한 것을 들으라 너희 가까이 있는 자들아 나의 권능을 알라
  4. 시온의 죄인들이 두려워하며 경건치 아니한 자들이 떨며 이르기를 우리 중에 누가 삼키는 불과 함께 거하겠으며 우리 중에 누가 영영히 타는 것과 함께 거하리요 하도다
  5. 오직 의롭게 행하는 자, 정직히 말하는 자, 토색한 재물을 가증히 여기는 자, 손을 흔들어 뇌물을 받지 아니하는 자, 귀를 막아 피 흘리려는 꾀를 듣지 아니하는 자, 눈을 감아 악을 보지 아니하는 자,
  1. You conceive chaff, you give birth to straw; your breath is a fire that consumes you.
  2. The peoples will be burned as if to lime; like cut thornbushes they will be set ablaze."
  3. You who are far away, hear what I have done; you who are near, acknowledge my power!
  4. The sinners in Zion are terrified; trembling grips the godless: "Who of us can dwell with the consuming fire? Who of us can dwell with everlasting burning?"
  5. He who walks righteously and speaks what is right, who rejects gain from extortion and keeps his hand from accepting bribes, who stops his ears against plots of murder and shuts his eyes against contemplating evil-
  1. 그는 높은 곳에 거하리니 견고한 바위가 그 보장이 되며 그 양식은 공급되고 그 물은 끊치지 아니하리라 하셨느니라
  2. 너의 눈은 그 영광 중의 왕을 보며 광활한 땅을 목도하겠고
  3. 너의 마음에는 두려워하던 것을 생각하여 내리라 계산하던 자가 어디 있느냐 공세를 칭량하던 자가 어디 있느냐 망대를 계수하던 자가 어디 있느냐
  4. 네가 강포한 백성을 다시 보지 아니하리라 그 백성은 방언이 어려워서 네가 알아 듣지 못하며 말이 이상하여 네가 깨닫지 못하는 자니라
  5. 우리의 절기 지키는 시온성을 보라 네 눈에 안정한 처소된 예루살렘이 보이리니 그것은 옮겨지지 아니할 장막이라 그 말뚝이 영영히 뽑히지 아니할 것이요 그 줄이 하나도 끊치지 아니할 것이며
  1. this is the man who will dwell on the heights, whose refuge will be the mountain fortress. His bread will be supplied, and water will not fail him.
  2. Your eyes will see the king in his beauty and view a land that stretches afar.
  3. In your thoughts you will ponder the former terror: "Where is that chief officer? Where is the one who took the revenue? Where is the officer in charge of the towers?"
  4. You will see those arrogant people no more, those people of an obscure speech, with their strange, incomprehensible tongue.
  5. Look upon Zion, the city of our festivals; your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken.
  1. 여호와께서는 거기서 위엄 중에 우리와 함께 계시리니 그 곳은 마치 노질하는 배나 큰 배가 통행치 못할 넓은 하수나 강이 둘림 같을 것이라
  2. 대저 여호와는 우리 재판장이시요 여호와는 우리에게 율법을 세우신 자시요 여호와는 우리의 왕이시니 우리를 구원하실 것임이니라
  3. 너의 돛대 줄이 풀렸었고 돛대 밑을 튼튼히 하지 못하였었고 돛을 달지 못하였었느니라 때가 되면 많은 재물을 탈취하여 나누리니 저는 자도 그 재물을 취할 것이며
  4. 그 거민은 내가 병들었노라 하지 아니할 것이라 거기 거하는 백성이 사죄함을 받으리라
  1. There the LORD will be our Mighty One. It will be like a place of broad rivers and streams. No galley with oars will ride them, no mighty ship will sail them.
  2. For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us.
  3. Your rigging hangs loose: The mast is not held secure, the sail is not spread. Then an abundance of spoils will be divided and even the lame will carry off plunder.
  4. No one living in Zion will say, "I am ill"; and the sins of those who dwell there will be forgiven.
