- 내가 성내에서 강포와 분쟁을 보았사오니 주여 저희를 멸하소서 저희 혀를 나누소서
- 저희가 주야로 성벽 위에 두루 다니니 성중에는 죄악과 잔해함이 있으며
- 악독이 그 중에 있고 압박과 궤사가 그 거리를 떠나지 않도다
- 나를 책망한 자가 원수가 아니라 원수일찐대 내가 참았으리라 나를 대하여 자기를 높이는 자가 나를 미워하는 자가 아니라 미워하는 자일찐대 내가 그를 피하여 숨었으리라
- 그가 곧 너로다 나의 동류, 나의 동무요 나의 가까운 친우로다

- Confuse, O Lord, divide their tongues, For I have seen violence and strife in the city.
- Day and night they go around her upon her walls, And iniquity and mischief are in her midst.
- Destruction is in her midst; Oppression and deceit do not depart from her streets.
- For it is not an enemy who reproaches me, Then I could bear it; Nor is it one who hates me who has exalted himself against me, Then I could hide myself from him.
- But it is you, a man my equal, My companion and my familiar friend;
