역대하 33:1-34:33

 므낫세는 우상 숭배로 인해 하나님의 진노를 받아 앗수르의 침입을 당하여 바벨론으로 끌려갔다. 그러나 그는 회개 기도를 통하여 다시 예루살렘으로 돌아와 왕위를 회복하고 하나님을 섬기게 되었다. 그의 아들 아몬은 우상에게 제사하며 야웨께 범죄하여 신복의 반역으로 죽임을 당했으며, 요시야는 우상을 파괴하고 성전을 정화하는 개혁 운동에 착수하여 백성들로 하여금 하나님을 섬기게 했다.
  
  므낫세, 아몬의 통치(33:1-33:25)    
 
  1. 므낫세가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 십 이세라 예루살렘에서 오십 오년을 치리하며
  2. 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 여호와께서 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 쫓아내신 이방 사람의 가증한 일을 본받아
  3. 그 부친 히스기야의 헐어버린 산당을 다시 세우며 바알들을 위하여 단을 쌓으며 아세라 목상을 만들며 하늘의 일월 성신을 숭배하여 섬기며
  4. 여호와께서 전에 이르시기를 내가 내 이름을 예루살렘에 영영히 두리라 하신 여호와의 전에 단들을 쌓고
  5. 또 여호와의 전 두 마당에 하늘의 일월 성신을 위하여 단들을 쌓고
  1. Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem.
  2. He did evil in the sight of the LORD according to the abominations of the nations whom the LORD dispossessed before the sons of Israel.
  3. For he rebuilt the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down; he also erected altars for the Baals and made Asherim, and worshiped all the host of heaven and served them.
  4. He built altars in the house of the LORD of which the LORD had said, "My name shall be in Jerusalem forever."
  5. For he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
  1. 또 힌놈의 아들 골짜기에서 그 아들들을 불 가운데로 지나게 하며 또 점치며 사술과 요술을 행하며 신접한 자와 박수를 신임하여 여호와 보시기에 악을 많이 행하여 그 진노를 격발하였으며
  2. 또 자기가 만든 아로새긴 목상을 하나님의 전에 세웠더라 옛적에 하나님이 이 전에 대하여 다윗과 그 아들 솔로몬에게 이르시기를 내가 이스라엘 모든 지파 중에서 택한 이 전과 예루살렘에 내 이름을 영원히 둘찌라
  3. 만일 이스라엘 사람이 내가 명한 일 곧 모세로 전한 모든 율법과 율례와 규례를 지켜 행하면 내가 그들의 발로 다시는 그 열조에게 정하여 준 땅에서 옮기지 않게 하리라 하셨으나
  4. 유다와 예루살렘 거민이 므낫세의 꾀임을 받고 악을 행한 것이 여호와께서 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 멸하신 열방보다 더욱 심하였더라
  5. 여호와께서 므낫세와 그 백성에게 이르셨으나 저희가 듣지 아니한고로
  1. He made his sons pass through the fire in the valley of Ben-hinnom; and he practiced witchcraft, used divination, practiced sorcery and dealt with mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking Him to anger.
  2. Then he put the carved image of the idol which he had made in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, "In this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen from all the tribes of Israel, I will put My name forever;
  3. and I will not again remove the foot of Israel from the land which I have appointed for your fathers, if only they will observe to do all that I have commanded them according to all the law, the statutes and the ordinances given through Moses."
  4. Thus Manasseh misled Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to do more evil than the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the sons of Israel.
  5. The LORD spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they paid no attention.
  1. 여호와께서 앗수르 왕의 군대 장관들로 와서 치게 하시매 저희가 므낫세를 사로잡고 쇠사슬로 결박하여 바벨론으로 끌어 간지라
  2. 저가 환난을 당하여 그 하나님 여호와께 간구하고 그 열조의 하나님 앞에 크게 겸비하여
  3. 기도한고로 하나님이 그 기도를 받으시며 그 간구를 들으시사 저로 예루살렘에 돌아와서 다시 왕위에 거하게 하시매 므낫세가 그제야 여호와께서 하나님이신 줄을 알았더라
  4. 그 후에 다윗성 밖 기혼 서편 골짜기 안에 외성을 쌓되 생선문 어귀까지 이르러 오벨을 둘러 심히 높이 쌓고 또 유다 모든 견고한 성읍에 군대 장관을 두며
  5. 이방 신들과 여호와의 전의 우상을 제하며 여호와의 전을 건축한 산에와 예루살렘에 쌓은 모든 단을 다 성 밖에 던지고
  1. Therefore the LORD brought the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria against them, and they captured Manasseh with hooks, bound him with bronze chains and took him to Babylon.
  2. When he was in distress, he entreated the LORD his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.
  3. When he prayed to Him, He was moved by his entreaty and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem to his kingdom Then Manasseh knew that the LORD was God.
  4. Now after this he built the outer wall of the city of David on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entrance of the Fish Gate; and he encircled the Ophel with it and made it very high. Then he put army commanders in all the fortified cities of Judah.
  5. He also removed the foreign gods and the idol from the house of the LORD, as well as all the altars which he had built on the mountain of the house of the LORD and in Jerusalem, and he threw them outside the city.
  1. 여호와의 단을 중수하고 화목제와 감사제를 그 단 위에 드리고 유다를 명하여 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 섬기라 하매
  2. 백성이 그 하나님 여호와께만 제사를 드렸으나 오히려 산당에서 제사를 드렸더라
  3. 므낫세의 남은 사적과 그 하나님께 기도한 말씀과 선견자가 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 이름을 받들고 권한 말씀이 모두 이스라엘 열왕의 행장에 기록되었고
  4. 또 그 기도와 그 기도를 들으신것과 그 모든 죄와 건과와 겸비하기 전에 산당을 세운 곳과 아세라 목상과 우상을 세운 곳들이 다 호새의 사기에 기록되니라
  5. 므낫세가 그 열조와 함께 자매 그 궁에 장사하고 그 아들 아몬이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
  1. He set up the altar of the LORD and sacrificed peace offerings and thank offerings on it; and he ordered Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.
  2. Nevertheless the people still sacrificed in the high places, although only to the LORD their God.
  3. Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh even his prayer to his God, and the words of the seers who spoke to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they are among the records of the kings of Israel.
  4. His prayer also and how God was entreated by him, and all his sin, his unfaithfulness, and the sites on which he built high places and erected the Asherim and the carved images, before he humbled himself, behold, they are written in the records of the Hozai.
  5. So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house. And Amon his son became king in his place.
  1. 아몬이 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 이세라 예루살렘에서 이년을 치리하며
  2. 그 부친 므낫세의 행함 같이 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 그 부친 므낫세가 만든 아로새긴 모든 우상에게 제사하여 섬겼으며
  3. 이 아몬이 그 부친 므낫세의 스스로 겸비함 같이 여호와 앞에서 스스로 겸비치 아니하고 더욱 범죄하더니
  4. 그 신복이 반역하여 왕을 궁중에서 죽이매
  5. 국민이 아몬왕을 반역한 사람들을 다 죽이고 그 아들 요시야로 대신하여 왕을 삼으니라
  1. Amon was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem.
  2. He did evil in the sight of the LORD as Manasseh his father had done, and Amon sacrificed to all the carved images which his father Manasseh had made, and he served them.
  3. Moreover, he did not humble himself before the LORD as his father Manasseh had done, but Amon multiplied guilt.
  4. Finally his servants conspired against him and put him to death in his own house.
  5. But the people of the land killed all the conspirators against King Amon, and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his place.
 
  요시야의 통치(34:1-34:33)    
 
  1. 요시야가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 팔세라 예루살렘에서 삼십 일년을 치리하며
  2. 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행하여 그 조상 다윗의 길로 행하여 좌우로 치우치지 아니하고
  3. 오히려 어렸을 때 곧 위에 있은지 팔년에 그 조상 다윗의 하나님을 비로소 구하고 그 십 이년에 유다와 예루살렘을 비로소 정결케 하여 그 산당과 아세라 목상들과 아로새긴 우상들과 부어만든 우상들을 제하여 버리매
  4. 무리가 왕의 앞에서 바알들의 단을 훼파하였으며 왕이 또 그 단 위에 높이 달린 태양상들을 찍고 또 아세라 목상들과 아로새긴 우상들과 부어 만든 우상들을 빻아 가루를 만들어 거기 제사하던 자들의 무덤에 뿌리고
  5. 제사장들의 뼈를 단 위에서 불살라 유다와 예루살렘을 정결케 하였으며
  1. Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem.
  2. He did right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of his father David and did not turn aside to the right or to the left.
  3. For in the eighth year of his reign while he was still a youth, he began to seek the God of his father David; and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, the Asherim, the carved images and the molten images.
  4. They tore down the altars of the Baals in his presence, and the incense altars that were high above them he chopped down; also the Asherim, the carved images and the molten images he broke in pieces and ground to powder and scattered it on the graves of those who had sacrificed to them.
  5. Then he burned the bones of the priests on their altars and purged Judah and Jerusalem.
  1. 또 므낫세와 에브라임과 시므온과 납달리까지 사면 황폐한 성읍들에도 그렇게 행하여
  2. 단들을 훼파하며 아세라 목상들과 아로새긴 우상들을 빻아 가루를 만들며 온 이스라엘 땅에 있는 모든 태양상을 찍고 예루살렘으로 돌아왔더라
  3. 요시야가 위에 있은지 십 팔년에 그 땅과 전을 정결케 하기를 마치고 그 하나님 여호와의 전을 수리하려 하여 아살랴의 아들 사반과 부윤 마아세야와 서기관 요아하스의 아들 요아를 보낸지라
  4. 저희가 대제사장 힐기야에게 나아가 전에 하나님의 전에 연보한 돈을 저에게 붙이니 이 돈은 문을 지키는 레위 사람이 므낫세와 에브라임과 남아 있는 이스라엘 사람과 온 유다와 베냐민과 예루살렘 거민들에게서 거둔 것이라
  5. 그 돈을 여호와의 전 역사를 감독하는 자의 손에 붙이니 저희가 여호와의 전에 있는 공장에게 주어 그 전을 수리하게 하되
  1. In the cities of Manasseh, Ephraim, Simeon, even as far as Naphtali, in their surrounding ruins,
  2. he also tore down the altars and beat the Asherim and the carved images into powder, and chopped down all the incense altars throughout the land of Israel. Then he returned to Jerusalem.
  3. Now in the eighteenth year of his reign, when he had purged the land and the house, he sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, and Maaseiah an official of the city, and Joah the son of Joahaz the recorder, to repair the house of the LORD his God.
  4. They came to Hilkiah the high priest and delivered the money that was brought into the house of God, which the Levites, the doorkeepers, had collected from Manasseh and Ephraim, and from all the remnant of Israel, and from all Judah and Benjamin and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
  5. Then they gave it into the hands of the workmen who had the oversight of the house of the LORD, and the workmen who were working in the house of the LORD used it to restore and repair the house.
  1. 곧 목수와 건축하는 자에게 붙여 다듬은 돌과 연접하는 나무를 사며 유다 왕들이 헐어버린 전들을 위하여 들보를 만들게 하매
  2. 그 사람들이 진실히 그 일을 하니라 그 감독은 레위 사람 곧 므라리 자손 중 야핫과 오바댜요 그핫 자손 중 스가랴와 무술람이라 다 그 일을 주장하고 또 음악에 익숙한 레위 사람이 함께 하였으며
  3. 저희가 또 담부하는 자를 관할하며 범백 공장을 동독하고 어떤 레위 사람은 서기와 관리와 문지기가 되었더라
  4. 무리가 여호와의 전에 연보한 돈을 꺼낼 때에 제사장 힐기야가 모세의 전한 여호와의 율법책을 발견하고
  5. 서기관 사반에게 일러 가로되 내가 여호와의 전에서 율법책을 발견하였노라 하고 그 책을 사반에게 주매
  1. They in turn gave it to the carpenters and to the builders to buy quarried stone and timber for couplings and to make beams for the houses which the kings of Judah had let go to ruin.
  2. The men did the work faithfully with foremen over them to supervise: Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites of the sons of Merari, Zechariah and Meshullam of the sons of the Kohathites, and the Levites, all who were skillful with musical instruments.
  3. They were also over the burden bearers, and supervised all the workmen from job to job; and some of the Levites were scribes and officials and gatekeepers.
  4. When they were bringing out the money which had been brought into the house of the LORD, Hilkiah the priest found the book of the law of the LORD given by Moses.
  5. Hilkiah responded and said to Shaphan the scribe, "I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD." And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan.
  1. 사반이 책을 가지고 왕에게 나아가서 복명하여 가로되 왕께서 종들에게 명하신 것을 종들이 다 준행하였나이다
  2. 또 여호와의 전에 있던 돈을 쏟아서 감독자와 공장의 손에 붙였나이다 하고
  3. 서기관 사반이 또 왕에게 고하여 가로되 제사장 힐기야가 내게 책을 주더이다 하고 사반이 왕의 앞에서 읽으매
  4. 왕이 율법의 말씀을 듣자 곧 자기 옷을 찢더라
  5. 왕이 힐기야와 사반의 아들 아히감과 미가의 아들 압돈과 서기관 사반과 왕의 시신 아사야에게 명하여 가로되
  1. Then Shaphan brought the book to the king and reported further word to the king, saying, "Everything that was entrusted to your servants they are doing.
  2. "They have also emptied out the money which was found in the house of the LORD, and have delivered it into the hands of the supervisors and the workmen."
  3. Moreover, Shaphan the scribe told the king saying, "Hilkiah the priest gave me a book." And Shaphan read from it in the presence of the king.
  4. When the king heard the words of the law, he tore his clothes.
  5. Then the king commanded Hilkiah, Ahikam the son of Shaphan, Abdon the son of Micah, Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the king's servant, saying,
  1. 너희는 가서 나와 및 이스라엘과 유다의 남은 자를 위하여 이 발견한 책의 말씀에 대하여 여호와께 물으라 우리 열조가 여호와의 말씀을 지키지 아니하고 이 책에 기록된 모든 것을 준행치 아니하였으므로 여호와께서 우리에게 쏟으신 진노가 크도다
  2. 이에 힐기야와 왕의 보낸 사람들이 여선지자 훌다에게로 나아가니 저는 하스라의 손자 독핫의 아들 예복을 주관하는 살룸의 아내라 예루살렘 둘째 구역에 거하였더라 저희가 그에게 이 뜻으로 고하매
  3. 훌다가 저희에게 이르되 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 말씀으로 너희는 너희를 내게 보낸 사람에게 고하기를
  4. 여호와의 말씀이 내가 이곳과 그 거민에게 재앙을 내리되 곧 유다 왕 앞에서 읽은 책에 기록된 모든 저주대로 하리니
  5. 이는 이 백성이 나를 버리고 다른 신에게 분향하며 그 손의 모든 소위로 나의 노를 격발하였음이라 그러므로 나의 노를 이 곳에 쏟으매 꺼지지 아니하리라 하라 하셨느니라
  1. "Go, inquire of the LORD for me and for those who are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book which has been found; for great is the wrath of the LORD which is poured out on us because our fathers have not observed the word of the LORD, to do according to all that is written in this book."
  2. So Hilkiah and those whom the king had told went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tokhath, the son of Hasrah, the keeper of the wardrobe (now she lived in Jerusalem in the Second Quarter); and they spoke to her regarding this.
  3. She said to them, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, 'Tell the man who sent you to Me,
  4. thus says the LORD, "Behold, I am bringing evil on this place and on its inhabitants, even all the curses written in the book which they have read in the presence of the king of Judah.
  5. "Because they have forsaken Me and have burned incense to other gods, that they might provoke Me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore My wrath will be poured out on this place and it shall not be quenched."'
  1. 너희를 보내어 여호와께 묻게한 유다 왕에게는 너희가 이렇게 고하라 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 말씀이 네가 들은 말을 의논컨대
  2. 내가 이곳과 그 거민을 가리켜 말한 것을 네가 듣고 마음이 연하여 하나님 앞 곧 내 앞에서 겸비하여 옷을 찢고 통곡하였으므로 나도 네 말을 들었노라 여호와가 말하였느니라
  3. 그러므로 내가 너로 너의 열조에게 돌아가서 평안히 묘실로 들어가게 하리니 내가 이곳과 그 거민에게 내리는 모든 재앙을 네가 눈으로 보지 못하리라 하셨느니라 사자들이 왕에게 복명하니라
  4. 왕이 보내어 유다와 예루살렘의 모든 장로를 불러 모으고
  5. 이에 여호와의 전에 올라가매 유다 모든 사람과 예루살렘 거민과 제사장들과 레위 사람들과 모든 백성이 무론노소하고 다 함께 한지라 왕이 여호와의 전 안에서 발견한 언약책의 모든 말씀을 읽어 무리의 귀에 들리고
  1. "But to the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the LORD, thus you will say to him, 'Thus says the LORD God of Israel regarding the words which you have heard,
  2. "Because your heart was tender and you humbled yourself before God when you heard His words against this place and against its inhabitants, and because you humbled yourself before Me, tore your clothes and wept before Me, I truly have heard you," declares the LORD.
  3. "Behold, I will gather you to your fathers and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace, so your eyes will not see all the evil which I will bring on this place and on its inhabitants."'" And they brought back word to the king.
  4. Then the king sent and gathered all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem.
  5. The king went up to the house of the LORD and all the men of Judah, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the priests, the Levites and all the people, from the greatest to the least; and he read in their hearing all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of the LORD.
  1. 왕이 자기 처소에 서서 여호와 앞에서 언약을 세우되 마음을 다하고 성품을 다하여 여호와를 순종하고 그 계명과 법도와 율례를 지켜 이 책에 기록된 언약의 말씀을 이루리라 하고
  2. 예루살렘과 베냐민에 있는 자들로 다 이에 참가하게 하매 예루살렘 거민이 하나님 곧 그 열조의 하나님의 언약을 좇으니라
  3. 이와 같이 요시야가 이스라엘 자손에게 속한 모든 땅에서 가증한 것을 다 제하여 버리고 이스라엘의 모든 사람으로 그 하나님 여호와를 섬기게 하였으므로 요시야가 사는 날에 백성이 그 열조의 하나님 여호와께 복종하고 떠나지 아니하였더라
  1. Then the king stood in his place and made a covenant before the LORD to walk after the LORD, and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes with all his heart and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant written in this book.
  2. Moreover, he made all who were present in Jerusalem and Benjamin to stand with him. So the inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the covenant of God, the God of their fathers.
  3. Josiah removed all the abominations from all the lands belonging to the sons of Israel, and made all who were present in Israel to serve the LORD their God. Throughout his lifetime they did not turn from following the LORD God of their fathers.
