욥기 10:1-12:25

 욥의 계속되는 한탄 가운데 나아마 사람 소발이 욥의 변명에 대해 공격하였다. 그는 하나님의 전능성을 내세워 하나님 앞에서 깨끗하다는 욥의 고백을 비난하면서 욥이 회개하면 용서를 받지만, 그렇지 않으면 무서운 결과가 올 것이라고 충고하였다. 이에 대하여 욥은 자신이 친구들의 조롱거리가 되었고 자신도 지혜와 명철이 하나님께 속한 것임을 알고 있다고 말하면서 그의 억울함을 호소하였다.
  
  욥의 기도(10:1-10:22)    
 
  1. 내 영혼이 살기에 곤비하니 내 원통함을 발설하고 내 마음의 괴로운대로 말하리라
  2. 내가 하나님께 아뢰오리니 나를 정죄하지 마옵시고 무슨 연고로 나로 더불어 쟁변하시는지 나로 알게 하옵소서
  3. 주께서 주의 손으로 지으신 것을 학대하시며 멸시하시고 악인의 꾀에 빛을 비취시기를 선히 여기시나이까
  4. 주의 눈이 육신의 눈이니이까 주께서 사람의 보는 것처럼 보시리이까
  5. 주의 날이 어찌 인생의 날과 같으며 주의 해가 어찌 인생의 날과 같기로
  1. "I loathe my own life; I will give full vent to my complaint; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
  2. "I will say to God, 'Do not condemn me; Let me know why You contend with me.
  3. 'Is it right for You indeed to oppress, To reject the labor of Your hands, And to look favorably on the schemes of the wicked?
  4. 'Have You eyes of flesh? Or do You see as a man sees?
  5. 'Are Your days as the days of a mortal, Or Your years as man's years,
  1. 나의 허물을 찾으시며 나의 죄를 사실하시나이까
  2. 주께서는 내가 악하지 않은 줄을 아시나이다 주의 손에서 나를 벗어나게 할 자도 없나이다
  3. 주의 손으로 나를 만드사 백체를 이루셨거늘 이제 나를 멸하시나이다
  4. 기억하옵소서 주께서 내 몸 지으시기를 흙을 뭉치듯 하셨거늘 다시 나를 티끌로 돌려 보내려 하시나이까
  5. 주께서 나를 젖과 같이 쏟으셨으며 엉긴 젖처럼 엉기게 하지 아니하셨나이까
  1. That You should seek for my guilt And search after my sin?
  2. 'According to Your knowledge I am indeed not guilty, Yet there is no deliverance from Your hand.
  3. 'Your hands fashioned and made me altogether, And would You destroy me?
  4. 'Remember now, that You have made me as clay; And would You turn me into dust again?
  5. 'Did You not pour me out like milk And curdle me like cheese;
  1. 가죽과 살로 내게 입히시며 뼈와 힘줄로 나를 뭉치시고
  2. 생명과 은혜를 내게 주시고 권고하심으로 내 영을 지키셨나이다
  3. 그러한데 주께서 이것들을 마음에 품으셨나이다 이 뜻이 주께 있은 줄을 내가 아나이다
  4. 내가 범죄하면 주께서 나를 죄인으로 인정하시고 내 죄악을 사유치 아니하시나이다
  5. 내가 악하면 화가 있을 것이오며 내가 의로울찌라도 머리를 들지 못하올 것은 내 속에 부끄러움이 가득하고 내 환난을 목도함이니이다
  1. Clothe me with skin and flesh, And knit me together with bones and sinews?
  2. 'You have granted me life and lovingkindness; And Your care has preserved my spirit.
  3. 'Yet these things You have concealed in Your heart; I know that this is within You:
  4. If I sin, then You would take note of me, And would not acquit me of my guilt.
  5. 'If I am wicked, woe to me! And if I am righteous, I dare not lift up my head. I am sated with disgrace and conscious of my misery.
  1. 내가 머리를 높이 들면 주께서 사자처럼 나를 사냥하시며 내게 주의 기이한 능력을 다시 나타내시나이다
  2. 주께서 자주자주 증거하는 자를 갈마들여 나를 치시며 나를 향하여 진노를 더하시니 군대가 갈마들어 치는것 같으니이다
  3. 주께서 나를 태에서 나오게 하셨음은 어찜이니이까 그렇지 아니하였더면 내가 기운이 끊어져 아무 눈에도 보이지 아니하였을 것이라
  4. 있어도 없던것 같이 되어서 태에서 바로 무덤으로 옮겼으리이다
  5. 내 날은 적지 아니하니이까 그런즉 그치시고 나를 버려두사 저으기 평안하게 하옵시되
  1. 'Should my head be lifted up, You would hunt me like a lion; And again You would show Your power against me.
  2. 'You renew Your witnesses against me And increase Your anger toward me; Hardship after hardship is with me.
  3. 'Why then have You brought me out of the womb? Would that I had died and no eye had seen me!
  4. 'I should have been as though I had not been, Carried from womb to tomb.'
  5. "Would He not let my few days alone? Withdraw from me that I may have a little cheer
  1. 내가 돌아오지 못할 땅 곧 어둡고 죽음의 그늘진 땅으로 가기 전에 그리하옵소서
  2. 이 땅은 어두워서 흑암 같고 죽음의 그늘이 져서 아무 구별이 없고 광명도 흑암 같으니이다
  1. Before I go--and I shall not return-- To the land of darkness and deep shadow,
  2. The land of utter gloom as darkness itself, Of deep shadow without order, And which shines as the darkness."
 
  소발의 첫번째 충고(11:1-11:20)    
 
  1. 나아마 사람 소발이 대답하여 가로되
  2. 말이 많으니 어찌 대답이 없으랴 입이 부푼 사람이 어찌 의롭다 함을 얻겠느냐
  3. 네 자랑하는 말이 어떻게 사람으로 잠잠하게 하겠으며 네가 비웃으면 어찌 너를 부끄럽게 할 사람이 없겠느냐
  4. 네 말이 내 도는 정결하고 나는 주의 목전에 깨끗하다 하는구나
  5. 하나님은 말씀을 내시며 너를 향하여 입을 여시고
  1. Then Zophar the Naamathite answered,
  2. "Shall a multitude of words go unanswered, And a talkative man be acquitted?
  3. "Shall your boasts silence men? And shall you scoff and none rebuke?
  4. "For you have said, 'My teaching is pure, And I am innocent in your eyes.'
  5. "But would that God might speak, And open His lips against you,
  1. 지혜의 오묘로 네게 보이시기를 원하노니 이는 그의 지식이 광대하심이라 너는 알라 하나님의 벌하심이 네 죄보다 경하니라
  2. 네가 하나님의 오묘를 어찌 능히 측량하며 전능자를 어찌 능히 온전히 알겠느냐
  3. 하늘보다 높으시니 네가 어찌 하겠으며 음부보다 깊으시니 네가 어찌 알겠느냐
  4. 그 도량은 땅보다 크고 바다보다 넓으니라
  5. 하나님이 두루 다니시며 사람을 잡아 가두시고 개정하시면 누가 능히 막을소냐
  1. And show you the secrets of wisdom! For sound wisdom has two sides Know then that God forgets a part of your iniquity.
  2. "Can you discover the depths of God? Can you discover the limits of the Almighty?
  3. "They are high as the heavens, what can you do? Deeper than Sheol, what can you know?
  4. "Its measure is longer than the earth And broader than the sea.
  5. "If He passes by or shuts up, Or calls an assembly, who can restrain Him?
  1. 하나님은 허망한 사람을 아시나니 악한 일은 상관치 않으시는듯하나 다 보시느니라
  2. 허망한 사람은 지각이 없나니 그 출생함이 들나귀 새끼 같으니라
  3. 만일 네가 마음을 바로 정하고 주를 향하여 손을 들 때에
  4. 네 손에 죄악이 있거든 멀리 버리라 불의로 네 장막에 거하지 못하게 하라
  5. 그리하면 네가 정녕 흠 없는 얼굴을 들게 되고 굳게 서서 두려움이 없으리니
  1. "For He knows false men, And He sees iniquity without investigating.
  2. "An idiot will become intelligent When the foal of a wild donkey is born a man.
  3. "If you would direct your heart right And spread out your hand to Him,
  4. If iniquity is in your hand, put it far away, And do not let wickedness dwell in your tents;
  5. "Then, indeed, you could lift up your face without moral defect, And you would be steadfast and not fear.
  1. 곧 네 환난을 잊을 것이라 네가 추억할찌라도 물이 흘러감 같을 것이며
  2. 네 생명의 날이 대낮보다 밝으리니 어두움이 있다 할찌라도 아침과 같이 될 것이요
  3. 네가 소망이 있으므로 든든할찌며 두루 살펴보고 안전히 쉬리니
  4. 네가 누워도 두렵게 할 자가 없겠고 많은 사람이 네게 첨을 드리리라
  5. 그러나 악한 자는 눈이 어두워서 도망할 곳을 찾지 못하리니 그의 소망은 기운이 끊침이리라
  1. "For you would forget your trouble, As waters that have passed by, you would remember it.
  2. "Your life would be brighter than noonday; Darkness would be like the morning.
  3. "Then you would trust, because there is hope; And you would look around and rest securely.
  4. "You would lie down and none would disturb you, And many would entreat your favor.
  5. "But the eyes of the wicked will fail, And there will be no escape for them; And their hope is to breathe their last."
 
  욥의 답변(12:1-12:25)    
 
  1. 욥이 대답하여 가로되
  2. 너희만 참으로 사람이로구나 너희가 죽으면 지혜도 죽겠구나
  3. 나도 너희 같이 총명이 있어 너희만 못하지 아니하니 그같은 일을 누가 알지 못하겠느냐
  4. 하나님께 불러 아뢰어 들으심을 입은 내가 이웃에게 웃음 받는 자가 되었으니 의롭고 순전한 자가 조롱거리가 되었구나
  5. 평안한 자의 마음은 재앙을 멸시하나 재앙이 실족하는 자를 기다리는구나
  1. Then Job responded,
  2. "Truly then you are the people, And with you wisdom will die!
  3. "But I have intelligence as well as you; I am not inferior to you. And who does not know such things as these?
  4. "I am a joke to my friends, The one who called on God and He answered him; The just and blameless man is a joke.
  5. "He who is at ease holds calamity in contempt, As prepared for those whose feet slip.
  1. 강도의 장막은 형통하고 하나님을 진노케 하는 자가 평안하니 하나님이 그 손에 후히 주심이니라
  2. 이제 모든 짐승에게 물어 보라 그것들이 네게 가르치리라 공중의 새에게 물어 보라 그것들이 또한 네게 고하리라
  3. 땅에게 말하라 네게 가르치리라 바다의 고기도 네게 설명하리라
  4. 이것들 중에 어느 것이 여호와의 손이 이를 행하신줄을 알지 못하랴
  5. 생물들의 혼과 인생들의 영이 다 그의 손에 있느니라
  1. "The tents of the destroyers prosper, And those who provoke God are secure, Whom God brings into their power.
  2. "But now ask the beasts, and let them teach you; And the birds of the heavens, and let them tell you.
  3. "Or speak to the earth, and let it teach you; And let the fish of the sea declare to you.
  4. "Who among all these does not know That the hand of the LORD has done this,
  5. In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?
  1. 입이 식물의 맛을 변별함 같이 귀가 말을 분변하지 아니하느냐
  2. 늙은 자에게는 지혜가 있고 장수하는 자에게는 명철이 있느니라
  3. 지혜와 권능이 하나님께 있고 모략과 명철도 그에게 속하였나니
  4. 그가 헐으신즉 다시 세울 수 없고 사람을 가두신즉 놓이지 못하느니라
  5. 그가 물을 그치게 하신즉 곧 마르고 물을 내신즉 곧 땅을 뒤집나니
  1. "Does not the ear test words, As the palate tastes its food?
  2. "Wisdom is with aged men, With long life is understanding.
  3. "With Him are wisdom and might; To Him belong counsel and understanding.
  4. "Behold, He tears down, and it cannot be rebuilt; He imprisons a man, and there can be no release.
  5. "Behold, He restrains the waters, and they dry up; And He sends them out, and they inundate the earth.
  1. 능력과 지혜가 그에게 있고 속은 자와 속이는 자가 다 그에게 속하였으므로
  2. 모사를 벌거벗겨 끌어 가시며 재판장으로 어리석은 자가 되게 하시며
  3. 열왕의 맨 것을 풀어 그들의 허리를 동이시며
  4. 제사장들을 벌거벗겨 끌어 가시고 권력이 있는 자를 넘어뜨리시며
  5. 충성된 자의 말을 없이 하시며 늙은 자의 지식을 빼앗으시며
  1. "With Him are strength and sound wisdom, The misled and the misleader belong to Him.
  2. "He makes counselors walk barefoot And makes fools of judges.
  3. "He loosens the bond of kings And binds their loins with a girdle.
  4. "He makes priests walk barefoot And overthrows the secure ones.
  5. "He deprives the trusted ones of speech And takes away the discernment of the elders.
  1. 방백들에게 멸시를 쏟으시며 강한 자의 띠를 푸시며
  2. 어두운 가운데서 은밀한 것을 드러내시며 죽음의 그늘을 광명한데로 나오게 하시며
  3. 만국을 커지게도 하시고 다시 멸하기도 하시며 열국으로 광대하게도 하시고 다시 사로잡히게도 하시며
  4. 만민의 두목들의 총명을 빼앗으시고 그들을 길 없는 거친 들로 유리하게 하시며
  5. 빛 없이 캄캄한데를 더듬게 하시며 취한 사람 같이 비틀거리게 하시느니라
  1. "He pours contempt on nobles And loosens the belt of the strong.
  2. "He reveals mysteries from the darkness And brings the deep darkness into light.
  3. "He makes the nations great, then destroys them; He enlarges the nations, then leads them away.
  4. "He deprives of intelligence the chiefs of the earth's people And makes them wander in a pathless waste.
  5. "They grope in darkness with no light, And He makes them stagger like a drunken man.
