욥기 27:1-29:25

 욥은 계속해서 자신은 불의와 궤휼을 말하지 않고 자신의 의를 굳게 잡아 순전히 지켰다고 하였다. 그리고 하나님을 경외하는 것이 지혜이고, 악을 떠나는 것이 명철이라고 고백하였다. 그리고 시험받기 이전의 자신의 모습을 회상하면서, 하나님께서 자신을 보호해 주셨으며 자신도 왕처럼 현명하여 다른 사람들을 위로해 줄 수 있는 존재였다고 고백하였다.
  
  욥의 독백(27:1-29:25)    
 
  1. 욥이 또 비사를 들어 가로되
  2. 나의 의를 빼앗으신 하나님, 나의 영혼을 괴롭게 하신 전능자의 사심을 가리켜 맹세하노니
  3. （나의 생명이 아직 내 속에 완전히 있고 하나님의 기운이 오히려 내 코에 있느니라）
  4. 결코 내 입술이 불의를 말하지 아니하며 내 혀가 궤휼을 발하지 아니하리라
  5. 나는 단정코 너희를 옳다 하지 아니하겠고 죽기 전에는 나의 순전함을 버리지 않을 것이라
  1. Then Job continued his discourse and said,
  2. "As God lives, who has taken away my right, And the Almighty, who has embittered my soul,
  3. For as long as life is in me, And the breath of God is in my nostrils,
  4. My lips certainly will not speak unjustly, Nor will my tongue mutter deceit.
  5. "Far be it from me that I should declare you right; Till I die I will not put away my integrity from me.
  1. 내가 내 의를 굳게 잡고 놓지 아니하리니 일평생 내 마음이 나를 책망치 아니하리라
  2. 나의 대적은 악인 같이 되고 일어나 나를 치는 자는 불의한 자 같이 되기를 원하노라
  3. 사곡한 자가 이익을 얻었으나 하나님이 그 영혼을 취하실 때에는 무슨 소망이 있으랴
  4. 환난이 그에게 임할 때에 하나님이 어찌 그 부르짖음을 들으시랴
  5. 그가 어찌 전능자를 기뻐하겠느냐 항상 하나님께 불러 아뢰겠느냐
  1. "I hold fast my righteousness and will not let it go. My heart does not reproach any of my days.
  2. "May my enemy be as the wicked And my opponent as the unjust.
  3. "For what is the hope of the godless when he is cut off, When God requires his life?
  4. "Will God hear his cry When distress comes upon him?
  5. "Will he take delight in the Almighty? Will he call on God at all times?
  1. 하나님의 하시는 일을 내가 너희에게 가르칠 것이요 전능자의 뜻을 내가 숨기지 아니하리라
  2. 너희가 다 이것을 보았거늘 어찌하여 아주 허탄한 사람이 되었는고
  3. 악인이 하나님께 얻을 분깃, 강포자가 전능자에게 받을 산업은 이것이라
  4. 그 자손이 번성하여도 칼을 위함이요 그 후예는 식물에 배부르지 못할 것이며
  5. 그 남은 자는 염병으로 묻히리니 그의 과부들이 울지 못할 것이며
  1. "I will instruct you in the power of God; What is with the Almighty I will not conceal.
  2. "Behold, all of you have seen it; Why then do you act foolishly?
  3. "This is the portion of a wicked man from God, And the inheritance which tyrants receive from the Almighty.
  4. "Though his sons are many, they are destined for the sword; And his descendants will not be satisfied with bread.
  5. "His survivors will be buried because of the plague, And their widows will not be able to weep.
  1. 그가 비록 은을 티끌 같이 쌓고 의복을 진흙 같이 예비할찌라도
  2. 그 예비한 것을 의인이 입을 것이요 그 은은 무죄자가 나눌 것이며
  3. 그 지은 집은 좀의 집 같고 상직군의 초막 같을 것이며
  4. 부자로 누우나 그 조상에게로 돌아가지 못할 것이요 눈을 뜬즉 없어졌으리라
  5. 두려움이 물 같이 그를 따라 미칠 것이요 폭풍이 밤에 그를 빼앗아갈 것이며
  1. "Though he piles up silver like dust And prepares garments as plentiful as the clay,
  2. He may prepare it, but the just will wear it And the innocent will divide the silver.
  3. "He has built his house like the spider's web, Or as a hut which the watchman has made.
  4. "He lies down rich, but never again; He opens his eyes, and it is no longer.
  5. "Terrors overtake him like a flood; A tempest steals him away in the night.
  1. 동풍이 그를 날려 보내며 그 처소에서 몰아내리라
  2. 하나님이 그를 아끼지 아니하시고 쏘시나니 그가 그 손에서 피하려 하여도 못할 것이라
  3. 사람들이 박장하며 비소하고 그 처소에서 몰아내리라
  1. "The east wind carries him away, and he is gone, For it whirls him away from his place.
  2. "For it will hurl at him without sparing; He will surely try to flee from its power.
  3. "Men will clap their hands at him And will hiss him from his place.
 
 
  1. 은은 나는 광이 있고 연단하는 금은 나는 곳이 있으며
  2. 철은 흙에서 취하고 동은 돌에서 녹여 얻느니라
  3. 사람이 흑암을 파하고 끝까지 궁구하여 음예와 유암 중의 광석을 구하되
  4. 사람 사는 곳에서 멀리 떠나 구멍을 깊이 뚫고 발이 땅에 닿지 않게 달려 내리니 멀리 사람과 격절되고 흔들흔들 하느니라
  5. 지면은 식물을 내나 지하는 불로 뒤집는 것 같고
  1. "Surely there is a mine for silver And a place where they refine gold.
  2. "Iron is taken from the dust, And copper is smelted from rock.
  3. "Man puts an end to darkness, And to the farthest limit he searches out The rock in gloom and deep shadow.
  4. "He sinks a shaft far from habitation, Forgotten by the foot; They hang and swing to and fro far from men.
  5. "The earth, from it comes food, And underneath it is turned up as fire.
  1. 그 돌 가운데에는 남보석이 있고 사금도 있으며
  2. 그 길은 솔개도 알지 못하고 매의 눈도 보지 못하며
  3. 위엄스러운 짐승도 밟지 못하였고 사나운 사자도 그리로 지나가지 못하였느니라
  4. 사람이 굳은 바위에 손을 대고 산을 뿌리까지 무너뜨리며
  5. 돌 가운데로 도랑을 파서 각종 보물을 눈으로 발견하고
  1. "Its rocks are the source of sapphires, And its dust contains gold.
  2. "The path no bird of prey knows, Nor has the falcon's eye caught sight of it.
  3. "The proud beasts have not trodden it, Nor has the fierce lion passed over it.
  4. "He puts his hand on the flint; He overturns the mountains at the base.
  5. "He hews out channels through the rocks, And his eye sees anything precious.
  1. 시냇물을 막아 스미지 않게 하고 감취었던 것을 밝은데로 내느니라
  2. 그러나 지혜는 어디서 얻으며 명철의 곳은 어디인고
  3. 그 값을 사람이 알지 못하나니 사람 사는 땅에서 찾을 수 없구나
  4. 깊은 물이 이르기를 내 속에 있지 아니하다 하며 바다가 이르기를 나와 함께 있지 아니하다 하느니라
  5. 정금으로도 바꿀 수 없고 은을 달아도 그 값을 당치 못하리니
  1. "He dams up the streams from flowing, And what is hidden he brings out to the light.
  2. "But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding?
  3. "Man does not know its value, Nor is it found in the land of the living.
  4. "The deep says, 'It is not in me'; And the sea says, 'It is not with me.'
  5. "Pure gold cannot be given in exchange for it, Nor can silver be weighed as its price.
  1. 오빌의 금이나 귀한 수마노나 남보석으로도 그 값을 당치 못하겠고
  2. 황금이나 유리라도 비교할 수 없고 정금 장식으로도 바꿀 수 없으며
  3. 산호나 수정으로도 말할 수 없나니 지혜의 값은 홍보석보다 귀하구나
  4. 구스의 황옥으로도 비교할 수 없고 순금으로도 그 값을 측량하지 못하리니
  5. 그런즉 지혜는 어디서 오며 명철의 곳은 어디인고
  1. "It cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir, In precious onyx, or sapphire.
  2. "Gold or glass cannot equal it, Nor can it be exchanged for articles of fine gold.
  3. "Coral and crystal are not to be mentioned; And the acquisition of wisdom is above that of pearls.
  4. "The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it, Nor can it be valued in pure gold.
  5. "Where then does wisdom come from? And where is the place of understanding?
  1. 모든 생물의 눈에 숨겨졌고 공중의 새에게 가리워졌으며
  2. 멸망과 사망도 이르기를 우리가 귀로 그 소문은 들었다 하느니라
  3. 하나님이 그 길을 깨달으시며 있는 곳을 아시나니
  4. 이는 그가 땅끝까지 감찰하시며 온 천하를 두루 보시며
  5. 바람의 경중을 정하시며 물을 되어 그 분량을 정하시며
  1. "Thus it is hidden from the eyes of all living And concealed from the birds of the sky.
  2. "Abaddon and Death say, 'With our ears we have heard a report of it.'
  3. "God understands its way, And He knows its place.
  4. "For He looks to the ends of the earth And sees everything under the heavens.
  5. "When He imparted weight to the wind And meted out the waters by measure,
  1. 비를 위하여 명령하시고 우뢰의 번개를 위하여 길을 정하셨음이라
  2. 그 때에 지혜를 보시고 선포하시며 굳게 세우시며 궁구하셨고
  3. 또 사람에게 이르시기를 주를 경외함이 곧 지혜요 악을 떠남이 명철이라 하셨느니라
  1. When He set a limit for the rain And a course for the thunderbolt,
  2. Then He saw it and declared it; He established it and also searched it out.
  3. "And to man He said, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.'"
 
 
  1. 욥이 또 비사를 들어 가로되
  2. 내가 이전 달과 하나님이 나를 보호하시던 날에 지내던 것 같이 되었으면
  3. 그 때는 그의 등불이 내 머리에 비취었고 내가 그 광명을 힘입어 흑암에 행하였었느니라
  4. 나의 강장하던 날과 같이 지내었으면 그 때는 하나님의 우정이 내 장막 위에 있었으며
  5. 그 때는 전능자가 오히려 나와 함께 계셨으며 나의 자녀들이 나를 둘러 있었으며
  1. And Job again took up his discourse and said,
  2. "Oh that I were as in months gone by, As in the days when God watched over me;
  3. When His lamp shone over my head, And by His light I walked through darkness;
  4. As I was in the prime of my days, When the friendship of God was over my tent;
  5. When the Almighty was yet with me, And my children were around me;
  1. 뻐터가 내 발자취를 씻기며 반석이 나를 위하여 기름시내를 흘려 내었으며
  2. 그 때는 내가 나가서 성문에 이르기도 하며 내 자리를 거리에 베풀기도 하였었느니라
  3. 나를 보고 소년들은 숨으며 노인들은 일어나서 서며
  4. 방백들은 말을 참고 손으로 입을 가리우며
  5. 귀인들은 소리를 금하니 그 혀가 입 천장에 붙었었느니라
  1. When my steps were bathed in butter, And the rock poured out for me streams of oil!
  2. "When I went out to the gate of the city, When I took my seat in the square,
  3. The young men saw me and hid themselves, And the old men arose and stood.
  4. "The princes stopped talking And put their hands on their mouths;
  5. The voice of the nobles was hushed, And their tongue stuck to their palate.
  1. 귀가 들은즉 나를 위하여 축복하고 눈이 본즉 나를 위하여 증거하였었나니
  2. 이는 내가 부르짖는 빈민과 도와줄 자 없는 고아를 건졌음이라
  3. 망하게 된 자도 나를 위하여 복을 빌었으며 과부의 마음이 나로 인하여 기뻐 노래하였었느니라
  4. 내가 의로 옷을 삼아 입었으며 나의 공의는 도포와 면류관 같았었느니라
  5. 나는 소경의 눈도 되고 절뚝발이의 발도 되고
  1. "For when the ear heard, it called me blessed, And when the eye saw, it gave witness of me,
  2. Because I delivered the poor who cried for help, And the orphan who had no helper.
  3. "The blessing of the one ready to perish came upon me, And I made the widow's heart sing for joy.
  4. "I put on righteousness, and it clothed me; My justice was like a robe and a turban.
  5. "I was eyes to the blind And feet to the lame.
  1. 빈궁한 자의 아비도 되며 생소한 자의 일을 사실하여 주었으며
  2. 불의한 자의 어금니를 꺾고 그 잇사이에서 겁탈한 물건을 빼어 내었었느니라
  3. 내가 스스로 말하기를 나는 내 보금자리에서 선종하리라 나의 날은 모래 같이 많은 것이라
  4. 내 뿌리는 물로 뻗어나가고 내 가지는 밤이 맟도록（마ㅊ도록） 이슬에 젖으며
  5. 내 영광은 내게 새로와지고 내 활은 내 손에서 날로 강하여지느니라 하였었노라
  1. "I was a father to the needy, And I investigated the case which I did not know.
  2. "I broke the jaws of the wicked And snatched the prey from his teeth.
  3. "Then I thought, 'I shall die in my nest, And I shall multiply my days as the sand.
  4. 'My root is spread out to the waters, And dew lies all night on my branch.
  5. 'My glory is ever new with me, And my bow is renewed in my hand.'
  1. 무리는 내 말을 들으며 나의 가르치기를 잠잠히 기다리다가
  2. 내가 말한 후에 그들이 말을 내지 못하였었나니 나의 말이 그들에게 이슬 같이 됨이니라
  3. 그들이 나 바라기를 비 같이 하였으며 입을 벌리기를 늦은 비 기다리듯 하였으므로
  4. 그들이 의지 없을 때에 내가 함소하여 동정하면 그들이 나의 얼굴 빛을 무색하게 아니하였었느니라
  5. 내가 그들의 길을 택하고 으뜸으로 앉았었나니 왕이 군중에 거함도 같았고 애곡하는 자를 위로하는 사람도 같았었느니라
  1. "To me they listened and waited, And kept silent for my counsel.
  2. "After my words they did not speak again, And my speech dropped on them.
  3. "They waited for me as for the rain, And opened their mouth as for the spring rain.
  4. "I smiled on them when they did not believe, And the light of my face they did not cast down.
  5. "I chose a way for them and sat as chief, And dwelt as a king among the troops, As one who comforted the mourners.
