레위기

  본서는 이스라엘 백성들이 성막을 완성한 후로부터 시내 산을 출발할 때까지의 두 달 동안 하나님께서 모세에게 지시하신 내용들을 기록하고 있다. 특히 제사 의식과 속죄에 관한 내용이 자세히 기록되어 있으며, 속죄의 피를 통한 성결과 하나님께서 지시하신 거룩한 삶에 대한 명확한 기준을 제시하고 있다.

  1장부터 16장까지는 하나님과 그의 백성간에 가로막혀 있는 죄의 담을 헐고 구속하시려는 하나님의 섭리를 담고 있으며, 17장부터 27장까지는 하나님의 백성들이 정결하고 거룩한 삶을 살기 위해 지켜야 할 일련의 실천적 기준들을 제시하고 있다.

 

 

레위기 1:1-3:17

 번제는 소, 양, 염소의 흠 없는 수컷, 또는 비둘기를 불살라 화제로 드렸다. 소제는 번제, 화목제와 함께 드리는 제사로서, 빻은 곡식을 그대로 드리거나 요리해서 드리되 누룩이나 꿀을 넣지 않고 부패를 방지하는 소금을 쳐서 화제로 드렸다. 화목제는 소, 양, 염소 중 흠 없는 것을 잡아 그 피는 제단에 뿌리고 기름은 단 위에 불살라 화제로 드렸다.
  
  번제(1:1-1:17)    
 
  1. 주님께서 모세를 회막으로 부르시고, 그에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "이스라엘 자손에게 말하여라. 너는 그들에게 다음과 같이 일러라. 너희 가운데서 짐승을 잡아서 나 주에게 제물을 바치는 사람은 누구든지 소나 양을 제물로 바쳐라.
  3. 바치는 제물이 소를 번제물로 바치는 것이면, 흠 없는 수컷을 골라서 회막 어귀에서 바치되, 나 주가 그것을 기꺼이 받게 하여라.
  4. 제물을 가져 온 사람은 번제물의 머리 위에 자기의 손을 얹어야 한다. 그래야만 그것을 속죄하는 제물로 받으실 것이다.
  5. 그런 다음에 제물을 가져 온 사람은 거기 주 앞에서 그 수송아지를 잡아야 하고, 아론의 혈통을 이어받은 제사장들은 그 피를 받아다가 회막 어귀에 있는 제단 둘레에 그 피를 뿌려야 한다.
  1. The LORD called to Moses and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting. He said,
  2. "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When any of you brings an offering to the LORD, bring as your offering an animal from either the herd or the flock.
  3. " 'If the offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he is to offer a male without defect. He must present it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting so that it will be acceptable to the LORD.
  4. He is to lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him.
  5. He is to slaughter the young bull before the LORD, and then Aaron's sons the priests shall bring the blood and sprinkle it against the altar on all sides at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
  1. 제물을 가져 온 사람이 그 번제물의 가죽을 벗기고, 고기를 저며 놓으면,
  2. 아론의 혈통을 이어받은 제사장들이 제단 위에 불을 피우고, 그 불 위에 장작을 지피고,
  3. 아론의 혈통을 이어받은 제사장들이, 고기 저민 것과 그 머리와 기름기를 제단에서 불타는 장작 위에 벌여 놓아야 한다.
  4. 제물을 가져 온 사람이 내장과 다리를 물에 씻어 주면, 제사장은 그것을 모두 제단 위에다 놓고 불살라야 한다. 이것이 번제인데, 이는, 제물을 불에 태워서 그 향기로 나 주를 기쁘게 하는, 살라 바치는 제사이다.
  5. 바치는 제물이 가축 떼 곧 양이나 염소 가운데서 골라서 번제로 바치는 것이면, 흠 없는 수컷을 골라 제물로 바쳐야 한다.
  1. He is to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.
  2. The sons of Aaron the priest are to put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.
  3. Then Aaron's sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat, on the burning wood that is on the altar.
  4. He is to wash the inner parts and the legs with water, and the priest is to burn all of it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
  5. " 'If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, from either the sheep or the goats, he is to offer a male without defect.
  1. 제물을 가져 온 사람은 그 제물을 주 앞 곧 제단 북쪽에서 잡아야 하고, 아론의 혈통을 이어받은 제사장들은 제단 둘레에 그 피를 뿌려야 한다.
  2. 제물을 가져 온 사람이 고기를 저미고 그 머리와 기름기를 베어 놓으면, 제사장들 가운데서 한 사람이 그것들을 제단에서 불타는 장작 위에 벌여 놓아야 한다.
  3. 제물을 가져 온 사람이 내장과 다리를 물에 씻어 주면, 제사장은 그것을 받아다가 모두 제단 위에서 불살라야 한다. 이것이 번제인데, 이는, 제물을 불에 태워서 그 향기로 나 주를 기쁘게 하는, 살라 바치는 제사이다.
  4. 나 주에게 바치는 제물이 날짐승을 번제물로 바치는 것이면, 그는 산비둘기나 집비둘기 새끼 가운데서 골라 제물로 바쳐야 한다.
  5. 제사장은 그 날짐승을 받아서 제단으로 가져 가고, 그 목을 비틀어서 머리를 자르고, 그 머리는 제단에 불사르고, 피는 제단 곁으로 흘려야 한다.
  1. He is to slaughter it at the north side of the altar before the LORD, and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides.
  2. He is to cut it into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and the fat, on the burning wood that is on the altar.
  3. He is to wash the inner parts and the legs with water, and the priest is to bring all of it and burn it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
  4. " 'If the offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, he is to offer a dove or a young pigeon.
  5. The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off the head and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar.
  1. 제물을 가져 온 사람은 제물의 멱통과 그 안에 있는 오물을 떼어 내서, 제단 동쪽에 있는 잿더미에 버려야 한다.
  2. 그가 두 날개를 잡고, 그 새의 몸을 찢어서, 두 동강이 나지 않을 정도로 벌려 놓으면, 제사장은 그것을 가져다가, 제단에서 불타는 장작 위에 얹어서 불살라야 한다. 이것이 번제인데, 이는, 제물을 불에 태워서 그 향기로 나 주를 기쁘게 하는, 살라 바치는 제사이다."
  1. He is to remove the crop with its contents and throw it to the east side of the altar, where the ashes are.
  2. He shall tear it open by the wings, not severing it completely, and then the priest shall burn it on the wood that is on the fire on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
 
  소제(2:1-2:16)    
 
  1. "나 주에게 곡식제물을 바치는 사람은 누구든지 고운 밀가루를 제물로 바치는데, 거기에 기름을 붓고 향을 얹어서 바쳐야 한다.
  2. 그가 그 제물을 아론의 혈통을 이어받은 제사장들에게 가져 오면, 제사장은 기름으로 반죽한 밀가루에서는 가루 한 줌을 걷고, 향은 다 거두어서, 그 제물을 모두 바치는 정성의 표시로, 제단 위에 올려놓고 불살라야 한다. 이것이, 제물을 불에 태워서 그 향기로 나 주를 기쁘게 하는, 살라 바치는 제사이다.
  3. 곡식제물 가운데서 살라 바치고 남은 것은 아론과 그 아들들의 몫이다. 이것은 나 주에게 살라 바치는 제물에서 온 것이므로, 가장 거룩한 것이다.
  4. 네가 화덕에 구운 것으로 곡식제물을 바치려거든, 고운 밀가루에 기름을 넣어서 반죽하여, 누룩을 넣지 않고 만든 둥근 과자나, 누룩을 넣지 않고 기름만 발라서 만든 얇고 넓적한 과자를 바쳐야 한다.
  5. 네가 바치는 곡식제물이 빵 굽는 판에다 구운 것이면, 그것은 고운 밀가루에 기름을 넣어 반죽하여 만든 것으로서, 누룩을 넣지 않은 것이어야 한다.
  1. " 'When someone brings a grain offering to the LORD, his offering is to be of fine flour. He is to pour oil on it, put incense on it
  2. and take it to Aaron's sons the priests. The priest shall take a handful of the fine flour and oil, together with all the incense, and burn this as a memorial portion on the altar, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
  3. The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the offerings made to the LORD by fire.
  4. " 'If you bring a grain offering baked in an oven, it is to consist of fine flour: cakes made without yeast and mixed with oil, or wafers made without yeast and spread with oil.
  5. If your grain offering is prepared on a griddle, it is to be made of fine flour mixed with oil, and without yeast.
  1. 너는 그것을 여러 조각으로 나누고, 그 위에 기름을 부어라. 이것이 곡식제물이다.
  2. 네가 바치는 곡식제물이 냄비에다 구운 과자이면, 고운 밀가루에 기름을 넣어서 만든 것이어야 한다.
  3. 이렇게 하여 곡식제물이 준비되면, 그것을 나 주에게 가지고 와서, 제사장에게 주어라. 제사장이 그것을 받아 제단으로 가져 갈 것이다.
  4. 제사장은 그 곡식제물에서 정성의 표시로 조금 떼어서, 그것을 제단 위에 올려놓고 불살라야 한다. 이렇게 하여 그 제물을 모두 바쳤다는 표시로 삼는다. 이것이, 제물을 불에 태워서 그 향기로 나 주를 기쁘게 하는, 살라 바치는 제사이다.
  5. 곡식제물 가운데서 살라 바치고 남은 것은 아론과 그 아들들의 몫이다. 이것은 나 주에게 살라 바치는 제물에서 온 것이므로, 가장 거룩한 것이다.
  1. Crumble it and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering.
  2. If your grain offering is cooked in a pan, it is to be made of fine flour and oil.
  3. Bring the grain offering made of these things to the LORD; present it to the priest, who shall take it to the altar.
  4. He shall take out the memorial portion from the grain offering and burn it on the altar as an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
  5. The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the offerings made to the LORD by fire.
  1. 너희가 나 주에게 바치는 곡식제물은, 어떤 것이든지, 누룩을 넣지 않은 것이어야 한다. 나 주에게 살라 바치는 제사에서, 어떤 누룩이나 꿀을 불살라서는 안 되기 때문이다.
  2. 너희가 맨 먼저 거둔 곡식을 제물로 바칠 때에는 나 주에게 누룩과 꿀을 가져 와도 되지만, 나 주를 기쁘게 하는 향기를 내려고 그것들을 제단 위에 올려놓아서는 안 된다.
  3. 네가 바치는 모든 곡식제물에는 소금을 넣어야 한다. 네가 바치는 곡식제물에는 네 하나님과 언약을 세울 때에 넣는 그 소금을 빼놓지 말아라. 네가 바치는 모든 제물에는 소금을 넣도록 하여라.
  4. 네가 맨 먼저 거둔 것을 나 주에게 곡식제물로 바칠 때에는, 햇곡식을 불에 볶거나 찧은 것으로 곡식제물을 바쳐야 한다.
  5. 그 위에 기름과 향을 놓아라. 이것이 곡식제물이다.
  1. " 'Every grain offering you bring to the LORD must be made without yeast, for you are not to burn any yeast or honey in an offering made to the LORD by fire.
  2. You may bring them to the LORD as an offering of the firstfruits, but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing aroma.
  3. Season all your grain offerings with salt. Do not leave the salt of the covenant of your God out of your grain offerings; add salt to all your offerings.
  4. " 'If you bring a grain offering of firstfruits to the LORD, offer crushed heads of new grain roasted in the fire.
  5. Put oil and incense on it; it is a grain offering.
  1. 제사장은 제물을 모두 바치는 정성의 표시로, 곡식과 기름에서 조금 갈라 내어, 향 전부와 함께 불살라야 한다. 이것이 나 주에게 살라 바치는 제사이다."
  1. The priest shall burn the memorial portion of the crushed grain and the oil, together with all the incense, as an offering made to the LORD by fire.
 
  화목제(3:1-3:17)    
 
  1. "화목제사 제물을 바치는 사람이 소를 잡아서 바칠 때에는, 누구든지, 수컷이거나 암컷이거나, 흠이 없는 것을 골라서 주 앞에 바쳐야 한다.
  2. 제물을 가져 온 사람은, 자기가 바칠 제물의 머리 위에 손을 얹은 다음에, 회막 어귀에서 그 제물을 잡아야 한다. 그러면 아론의 혈통을 이어받은 제사장들이 그 피를 제단 둘레에 뿌릴 것이다.
  3. 제물을 가져 온 사람은 화목제물 가운데서 내장 전체를 덮고 있는 기름기와, 내장 각 부분에 붙어 있는 모든 기름기와,
  4. 두 콩팥과, 거기에 덮여 있는 허리께의 기름기와, 콩팥을 떼어 낼 때에 함께 떼어 낸, 간을 덮고 있는 껍질을, 나 주에게 살라 바치는 제물로 가져 와야 한다.
  5. 그러면 아론의 아들들이 그것들을 제단에서 불타는 장작 위에 올려놓은 번제물 위에다 놓고 불사를 것이다. 이것이, 제물을 불에 태워서 그 향기로 나 주를 기쁘게 하는, 살라 바치는 제사이다.
  1. " 'If someone's offering is a fellowship offering, and he offers an animal from the herd, whether male or female, he is to present before the LORD an animal without defect.
  2. He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood against the altar on all sides.
  3. From the fellowship offering he is to bring a sacrifice made to the LORD by fire: all the fat that covers the inner parts or is connected to them,
  4. both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the covering of the liver, which he will remove with the kidneys.
  5. Then Aaron's sons are to burn it on the altar on top of the burnt offering that is on the burning wood, as an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
  1. 화목제물을 바치려는 사람이 제사에서 양을 잡아 나 주에게 제물로 바치려면, 수컷이거나 암컷이거나, 흠이 없는 것을 골라서 바쳐야 한다.
  2. 그가 제물로 바칠 것이 양이면, 그는 그 양을 나 주에게 끌고 와서,
  3. 그 제물의 머리 위에 손을 얹은 다음에, 회막 앞에서 그 제물을 잡아야 한다. 그러면 아론의 아들들이 그 피를 제단 둘레에 뿌릴 것이다.

  1. " 'If he offers an animal from the flock as a fellowship offering to the LORD, he is to offer a male or female without defect.
  2. If he offers a lamb, he is to present it before the LORD.
  3. He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron's sons shall sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides.
  4. From the fellowship offering he is to bring a sacrifice made to the LORD by fire: its fat, the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone, all the fat that covers the inner parts or is connected to them,
  5. both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the covering of the liver, which he will remove with the kidneys.
  1. 그러면 제사장이 그것들을 제단으로 가져 가서, 나 주에게 살라 바치는 음식제물로 바칠 것이다.
  2. 그가 제물로 바칠 것이 염소면, 그는 그 염소를 나 주에게 끌고 와서
  3. 그 제물의 머리 위에 손을 얹은 다음에, 회막 앞에서 그 제물을 잡아야 한다. 그러면 아론의 아들들이 그 피를 제단 둘레에 뿌릴 것이다.

  2. " 'If his offering is a goat, he is to present it before the LORD.
  3. He is to lay his hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron's sons shall sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides.
  4. From what he offers he is to make this offering to the LORD by fire: all the fat that covers the inner parts or is connected to them,
  5. both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the covering of the liver, which he will remove with the kidneys.
  1. 그러면 제사장이 그것들을 제단으로 가져 가서, 나 주에게 살라 바치는 음식제물로 바칠 것이다. 이것이, 제물을 불에 태워서, 그 향기로 나 주를 기쁘게 하는, 살라 바치는 제사이다. 기름기는 다 나 주에게 바쳐야 한다.
  2. 이것은 너희가 어느 곳에서 살든지, 대대로 영원히 지켜야 할 규례이다. 너희는 어떤 기름기도, 어떤 피도 먹어서는 안 된다."
  1. The priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma. All the fat is the LORD's.
  2. " 'This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood.' "
