- 악한 자들이 잘 된다고 해서 속상해하지 말며, 불의한 자들이 잘 산다고 해서 시새워하지 말아라.
- 그들은 풀처럼 빨리 시들고, 푸성귀처럼 사그라지고 만다.
- 주님만 의지하고, 선을 행하여라. 이 땅에서 사는 동안 성실히 살아라.
- 기쁨은 오직 주님에게서 찾아라. 주님께서 네 마음의 소원을 들어주신다.
- 네 갈 길을 주님께 맡기고, 주님만 의지하여라. 주님께서 이루어 주실 것이다.

- Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong;
- for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away.
- Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
- Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.
- Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:

- 너의 의를 빛과 같이, 너의 공의를 한낮의 햇살처럼 빛나게 하실 것이다.
- 잠잠히 주님을 바라고, 주님만을 애타게 찾아라. 가는 길이 언제나 평탄하다고 자랑하는 자들과, 악한 계획도 언제나 이룰 수 있다는 자들 때문에 마음 상해 하지 말아라.
- 노여움을 버려라. 격분을 가라앉혀라. 불평하지 말아라. 이런 것들은 오히려 악으로 기울어질 뿐이다.
- 진실로 악한 자들은 뿌리째 뽑히고 말 것이다. 그러나 주님을 기다리는 사람들은 반드시 땅을 물려받을 것이다.
- 조금만 더 참아라. 악인은 멸망하고야 만다. 아무리 그 있던 자취를 찾아보아도 그는 이미 없을 것이다.

- He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
- Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
- Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret--it leads only to evil.
- For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.
- A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found.

- 겸손한 사람들이 오히려 땅을 차지할 것이며, 그들이 크게 기뻐하면서 평화를 누릴 것이다.

- But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy great peace.
