신명기 26:12-28:14

 모세는 하나님께 드려진 성물을 레위인과 객과 고아와 과부에게 주어 배불리 먹게 한 후 하나님께 기도하면서 그들에게 주어진 모든 것이 하나님에 의한 것임을 고백하게 했다. 그는 자신의 두번째 설교를 통하여 백성들에게 율법의 자세한 내용을 말한 후, 가나안에 들어간 뒤에 에발 산에 돌비들을 세우고 석회를 바른 다음 그 위에 율법을 기록할 것을 명령했다.
  
  십일조 규례(26:12-26:19)    
 
  1. 세 해마다 십일조를 드리는 해가 되면, 당신들은 당신들의 모든 소출에서 열의 하나를 따로 떼어서, 그것을 레위 사람과 외국 사람과 고아와 과부에게 나누어 주고, 그들이 당신들이 사는 성 안에서 마음껏 먹게 하십시오.
  2. 그렇게 할 때에 당신들은 하나님께 이렇게 아뢰십시오. '우리는 주님께서 우리에게 명하신 대로, 우리 집에서 성물을 내어 레위 사람과 외국 사람과 고아와 과부에게 다 나누어 주어서, 주님의 명령을 잊지 않고 어김없이 다 실행하였습니다.
  3. 우리는 애곡하는 날에, 이 거룩한 열의 한 몫을 먹지 않았고, 부정한 몸으로 그것을 떼놓지도 않고, 죽은 자에게 그것을 제물로 바친 적도 없습니다. 우리는 주 우리의 하나님께 순종하여서, 십일조에 관하여 명령하신 것을 그대로 다 지켰습니다.
  4. 주님의 거룩한 처소 하늘에서 굽어 살피시고, 주님의 백성 이스라엘에게 복을 주시며, 주님께서 우리의 조상에게 약속하신 대로, 우리에게 주신 땅 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅에 복을 내려 주십시오.'"
  5. "오늘 주 당신들의 하나님이 이 규례와 법도를 지키라고 당신들에게 명령하시니, 당신들은 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하여 이 모든 계명을 지키십시오.
  1. When you have finished setting aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you shall give it to the Levite, the alien, the fatherless and the widow, so that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied.
  2. Then say to the LORD your God: "I have removed from my house the sacred portion and have given it to the Levite, the alien, the fatherless and the widow, according to all you commanded. I have not turned aside from your commands nor have I forgotten any of them.
  3. I have not eaten any of the sacred portion while I was in mourning, nor have I removed any of it while I was unclean, nor have I offered any of it to the dead. I have obeyed the LORD my God; I have done everything you commanded me.
  4. Look down from heaven, your holy dwelling place, and bless your people Israel and the land you have given us as you promised on oath to our forefathers, a land flowing with milk and honey."
  5. The LORD your God commands you this day to follow these decrees and laws; carefully observe them with all your heart and with all your soul.
  1. 오늘 당신들은 당신들의 주님을 하나님으로 모시고, 그의 길을 따르며, 그의 규례와 명령과 법도를 지키며, 그에게 순종하겠다고 약속하였습니다.

  1. You have declared this day that the LORD is your God and that you will walk in his ways, that you will keep his decrees, commands and laws, and that you will obey him.
  2. And the LORD has declared this day that you are his people, his treasured possession as he promised, and that you are to keep all his commands.
  3. He has declared that he will set you in praise, fame and honor high above all the nations he has made and that you will be a people holy to the LORD your God, as he promised.
 
  에발 산의 제단(27:1-27:26)    
 
  1. 모세는 이스라엘 장로들과 함께, 백성에게 명령하였다. "오늘 내가 당신들에게 하는 모든 명령을, 당신들은 지켜야 합니다.
  2. 당신들이 요단 강을 건너가서, 주 당신들의 하나님이 당신들에게 주시는 땅에 들어가는 날이 오거든, 큰 돌들을 세우고 석회를 바르십시오.
  3. 주 당신들 조상의 하나님이 말씀하신 대로, 주 당신들의 하나님이 당신들에게 주시는 땅 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅에 들어가면, 이 모든 율법의 말씀을 그 돌들 위에 기록하십시오.
  4. 당신들이 요단 강을 건너거든, 내가 오늘 당신들에게 명한 대로, 이 돌들을 에발 산에 세우고, 그 위에 석회를 바르십시오.
  5. 또 거기에서 주 당신들의 하나님께 드리는 제단을 만들되, 쇠 연장으로 다듬지 않은 자연석으로 제단을 만드십시오.
  1. Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people: "Keep all these commands that I give you today.
  2. When you have crossed the Jordan into the land the LORD your God is giving you, set up some large stones and coat them with plaster.
  3. Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you.
  4. And when you have crossed the Jordan, set up these stones on Mount Ebal, as I command you today, and coat them with plaster.
  5. Build there an altar to the LORD your God, an altar of stones. Do not use any iron tool upon them.
  1. 당신들은 다듬지 않은 자연석으로 주 당신들의 하나님의 제단을 만들고, 그 위에 번제물을 올려 주 당신들의 하나님께 드려야 합니다.
  2. 또 화목제를 드리고 거기에서 먹으며, 주 당신들의 하나님 앞에서 즐거워하십시오.
  3. 당신들은 이 돌들 위에 이 모든 율법의 말씀을 분명하게 기록하십시오."
  4. 모세와 레위 사람 제사장들이 온 이스라엘 백성에게 선포하였다. "이스라엘 자손 여러분, 우리가 하는 말에 귀를 기울이십시오. 오늘 당신들은 주 당신들의 하나님의 백성이 되었습니다.

  1. Build the altar of the LORD your God with fieldstones and offer burnt offerings on it to the LORD your God.
  2. Sacrifice fellowship offerings there, eating them and rejoicing in the presence of the LORD your God.
  3. And you shall write very clearly all the words of this law on these stones you have set up."
  4. Then Moses and the priests, who are Levites, said to all Israel, "Be silent, O Israel, and listen! You have now become the people of the LORD your God.
  5. Obey the LORD your God and follow his commands and decrees that I give you today."
  1. 그 때에 모세가 백성에게 명령하였다.
  2. "당신들이 요단 강을 건넌 뒤에, 백성에게 축복을 선포하려고 그리심 산에 설 지파들은 시므온과 레위와 유다와 잇사갈과 요셉과 베냐민 지파입니다.
  3. 그리고 저주를 선포하려고 에발 산에 설 지파들은 르우벤과 갓과 아셀과 스불론과 단과 납달리 지파입니다.
  4. 그리고 레위 사람들은 큰소리로 온 이스라엘 모든 백성에게 다음과 같이 외치십시오.
  5. '대장장이를 시켜서, 주님께서 역겨워하시는 우상을 새기거나 부어 만들어서, 그것을 은밀한 곳에 숨겨 놓는 자는 저주를 받는다' 하면, 모든 백성은 '아멘' 하고 응답하십시오.
  1. On the same day Moses commanded the people:
  2. When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph and Benjamin.
  3. And these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal to pronounce curses: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan and Naphtali.
  4. The Levites shall recite to all the people of Israel in a loud voice:
  5. "Cursed is the man who carves an image or casts an idol--a thing detestable to the LORD, the work of the craftsman's hands--and sets it up in secret." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
  1. '아버지와 어머니를 업신여기는 자는 저주를 받는다' 하면, 모든 백성은 '아멘' 하십시오.
  2. '이웃의 땅 경계석을 옮기는 자는 저주를 받는다' 하면, 모든 백성은 '아멘' 하십시오.
  3. '눈이 먼 사람에게 길을 잘못 인도하는 자는 저주를 받는다' 하면, 모든 백성은 '아멘' 하십시오.
  4. '외국 사람과 고아와 과부의 재판을 공정하게 하지 않는 자는 저주를 받는다' 하면, 모든 백성은 '아멘' 하십시오.
  5. '아버지의 아내와 동침하는 것은 그 아버지의 침상을 모독하는 것이니, 그런 자는 저주를 받는다' 하면, 모든 백성은 '아멘' 하십시오.
  1. "Cursed is the man who dishonors his father or his mother." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
  2. "Cursed is the man who moves his neighbor's boundary stone." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
  3. "Cursed is the man who leads the blind astray on the road." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
  4. "Cursed is the man who withholds justice from the alien, the fatherless or the widow." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
  5. "Cursed is the man who sleeps with his father's wife, for he dishonors his father's bed." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
  1. '짐승과 교접하는 자는 저주를 받는다' 하면, 모든 백성은 '아멘' 하십시오.
  2. '자매, 곧 아버지의 딸이나 어머니의 딸과 동침하는 자는 저주를 받는다' 하면, 모든 백성은 '아멘' 하십시오.
  3. '장모와 동침하는 자는 저주를 받는다' 하면, 모든 백성은 '아멘' 하십시오.
  4. '이웃을 암살하는 자는 저주를 받는다' 하면, 모든 백성은 '아멘' 하십시오.
  5. '뇌물을 받고 죄 없는 사람을 죽이는 자는 저주를 받는다' 하면, 모든 백성은 '아멘' 하십시오.
  1. "Cursed is the man who has sexual relations with any animal." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
  2. "Cursed is the man who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
  3. "Cursed is the man who sleeps with his mother-in-law." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
  4. "Cursed is the man who kills his neighbor secretly." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
  5. "Cursed is the man who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
  1. '이 율법 가운데 하나라도 실행하지 않는 자는 저주를 받는다' 하면, 모든 백성은 '아멘' 하십시오."
  1. "Cursed is the man who does not uphold the words of this law by carrying them out." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
 
  순종으로 인한 축복(28:1-28:14)    
 
  1. "당신들이 주 당신들의 하나님의 말씀을 귀담아 듣고, 내가 오늘 당신들에게 명한 그 모든 명령을 주의 깊게 지키면, 주 당신들의 하나님이 당신들을 세상의 모든 민족 위에 뛰어나게 하실 것입니다.
  2. 당신들이 주 당신들의 하나님의 말씀에 순종하면, 이 모든 복이 당신들에게 찾아와서 당신들을 따를 것입니다.
  3. 당신들은 성읍에서도 복을 받고, 들에서도 복을 받을 것입니다.
  4. 당신들의 태가 복을 받아 자식을 많이 낳고, 땅이 복을 받아 열매를 풍성하게 내고, 집짐승이 복을 받아 번식할 것이니, 소도 많아지고 양도 새끼를 많이 낳을 것입니다.
  5. 당신들의 곡식 광주리도 반죽 그릇도 복을 받을 것입니다.
  1. If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.
  2. All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:
  3. You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
  4. The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock--the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
  5. Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.
  1. 당신들은 들어와도 복을 받고, 나가도 복을 받을 것입니다.
  2. 당신들에게 대항하는 적들이 일어나도, 주님께서는 당신들이 보는 앞에서 그들을 치실 것이니, 그들이 한 길로 쳐들어왔다가, 일곱 길로 뿔뿔이 도망칠 것입니다.
  3. 주님께서 명하셔서, 당신들의 창고와 당신들의 손으로 하는 모든 일에 복이 넘치게 하실 것입니다. 그리하여 주 당신들의 하나님이 당신들에게 주시는 땅에서 당신들에게 복을 주실 것입니다.
  4. 당신들이 주 당신들의 하나님의 명령을 지키고 그 길로만 걸으면, 주님께서는 당신들에게 맹세하신 대로, 당신들을 자기의 거룩한 백성으로 삼으실 것입니다.
  5. 이 땅의 모든 백성이, 주님께서 당신들을 택하셔서 자기의 백성으로 삼으신 것을 보고, 당신들을 두려워할 것입니다.
  1. You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
  2. The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
  3. The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
  4. The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in his ways.
  5. Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will fear you.
  1. 주님께서는, 당신들에게 주시겠다고 당신들의 조상에게 약속하신 이 땅에서, 당신들 몸의 소생과 가축의 새끼와 땅의 소출이 풍성하도록 하여 주실 것입니다.
  2. 주님께서는, 그 풍성한 보물 창고 하늘을 여시고, 철을 따라서 당신들 밭에 비를 내려 주시고, 당신들이 하는 모든 일에 복을 주실 것입니다. 그러므로 당신들은 많은 민족에게 꾸어 주기는 하여도 꾸지는 않을 것입니다.
  3. 오늘 내가 당신들에게 명령하는 바, 당신들이 주 당신들의 하나님의 명령을 진심으로 지키면, 주님께서는 당신들을 머리가 되게 하고, 꼬리가 되게 하지 않으시며, 당신들을 오직 위에만 있게 하고, 아래에 있게 하지는 않으실 것입니다.
  4. 당신들은, 좌로든지 우로든지, 내가 오늘 당신들에게 명하는 이 모든 말씀을 벗어나지 말고, 다른 신들을 따라가서 섬기지 마십시오."
  1. The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity--in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground--in the land he swore to your forefathers to give you.
  2. The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.
  3. The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.
  4. Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.
