- 하나님, 내가 탄식할 때에 내 소리를 들어 주십시오. 원수들의 위협에서 내 생명을 지켜 주십시오.
- 악인들이 은밀하게 모의할 때에 나를 숨겨 주시고, 악한 일을 저지르는 자들의 폭력에서 나를 지켜 주십시오.
- 그들은 칼날처럼 날카롭게 혀를 벼려 화살처럼 독설을 뽑아 냅니다.
- 죄 없는 사람을 쏘려고 몰래 숨어 있다가, 느닷없이 쏘고서도, 거리낌조차 없습니다.
- 그들은 악한 일을 두고 서로 격려하며, 남 몰래 올가미를 치려고 모의하며, "누가 우리를 보랴?" 하고 큰소리를 칩니다.

- Hear me, O God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy.
- Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from that noisy crowd of evildoers.
- They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim their words like deadly arrows.
- They shoot from ambush at the innocent man; they shoot at him suddenly, without fear.
- They encourage each other in evil plans, they talk about hiding their snares; they say, "Who will see them ?"

- 그들이 악을 꾀하고, 은밀하게 음모를 꾸미니, 사람의 속마음은 참으로 알 수 없습니다.
- 그러나 하나님이 활을 쏘실 것이니, 그들이 화살을 맞고서 순식간에 쓰러질 것이다.
- 하나님은, 그들이 혀를 놀려서 한 말 때문에 그들을 멸하실 것이니, 이것을 보는 자마다 도망칠 것이다.
- 그들은 모두 다 두려움에 사로잡혀, 하나님이 하신 일을 선포하며, 하나님이 하신 일을 생각하게 될 것이다.
- 의인은 주님께서 하신 일을 생각하면서 기뻐하고, 주님께로 피할 것이니, 마음이 정직한 사람은 모두 주님을 찬양할 것이다.

- They plot injustice and say, "We have devised a perfect plan!" Surely the mind and heart of man are cunning.
- But God will shoot them with arrows; suddenly they will be struck down.
- He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin; all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.
- All mankind will fear; they will proclaim the works of God and ponder what he has done.
- Let the righteous rejoice in the LORD and take refuge in him; let all the upright in heart praise him!
