- 스스로 예루살렘에서 살겠다고 자원하는 사람 모두에게는 백성이 복을 빌어 주었다.
- 예루살렘에 자리를 잡은 지방 지도자들은 다음과 같다. 다른 이스라엘 사람들 곧 제사장과 레위 사람과 성전 막일꾼과 솔로몬을 섬기던 종의 자손은, 각자가 물려받은 땅인 유다 여러 성읍에서 살고,
- 유다와 베냐민 자손 가운데서 일부가 예루살렘에서 살았다. 유다 자손으로는 아다야가 있다. 그의 아버지는 웃시야요, 그 윗대는 스가랴요, 그 윗대는 아마랴요, 그 윗대는 스바댜요, 그 윗대는 마할랄렐이요, 그 윗대는 베레스이다.
