- 어리석은 사람은 마음 속으로 "하나님이 없다" 하는구나. 그들은 한결같이 썩어서 더러우니, 바른 일을 하는 사람이 아무도 없구나.
- 주님께서는 하늘에서 사람을 굽어보시면서, 지혜로운 사람이 있는지, 하나님을 찾는 사람이 있는지를, 살펴보신다.
- 너희 모두는 다른 길로 빗나가서 하나같이 썩었으니, 착한 일을 하는 사람이 하나도 없구나.
- 죄악을 행하는 자는 다 무지한 자냐? 그들이 밥 먹듯이 내 백성을 먹으면서, 나 주를 부르지 않는구나.
- 하나님이 의인의 편이시니, 행악자가 크게 두려워한다.

- The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
- The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
- They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
- Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
- There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

- 행악자는 가난한 사람의 계획을 늘 좌절시키지만, 주님은 가난한 사람을 보호하신다.
- 하나님, 시온에서 나오셔서, 이스라엘을 구원하여 주십시오! 주님께서 당신의 백성을 그들의 땅으로 되돌려 보내실 때에, 야곱은 기뻐하고, 이스라엘은 즐거워할 것이다.
