- 주님의 교훈은 완전하여서 사람에게 생기를 북돋우어 주고, 주님의 증거는 참되어서 어리석은 자를 깨우쳐 준다.
- 주님의 교훈은 정직하여서 마음에 기쁨을 안겨 주고, 주님의 계명은 순수하여서 사람의 눈을 밝혀 준다.
- 주님의 말씀은 티 없이 맑아서 영원토록 견고히 서 있으며, 주님의 법규는 참되어서 한결같이 바르다.
- 주님의 교훈은 금보다, 순금보다 더 탐스럽고, 꿀보다, 송이꿀보다 더 달콤하다.
- 그러므로 주님의 종이 그 교훈으로 경고를 받고, 그것을 지키면, 푸짐한 상을 받을 것이다.

- The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
- The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
- The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
- More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
- Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

- 그러나 어느 누가 자기 잘못을 낱낱이 알겠습니까? 미처 깨닫지 못한 죄까지도 깨끗하게 씻어 주십시오.
- 주님의 종이 죄인 줄 알면서도 고의로 죄를 짓지 않도록 막아 주셔서 죄의 손아귀에 다시는 잡히지 않게 지켜 주십시오. 그 때에야 나는 온전하게 되어서, 모든 끔찍한 죄악을 벗어 버릴 수 있을 것입니다.
- 나의 반석이시요 구원자이신 주님, 내 입의 말과 내 마음의 생각이 언제나 주님의 마음에 들기를 바랍니다.

- Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
- Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
