- 주님, 주님께서 나를 수렁에서 건져 주시고, 내 원수가 나를 비웃지 못하게 해주셨으니, 내가 주님을 우러러 찬양하렵니다.
- 주, 나의 하나님, 내가 주님께 울부짖었더니, 주님께서 나를 고쳐 주셨습니다.
- 주님, 스올에서 이 몸을 끌어올리셨고, 무덤으로 내려간 사람들 가운데서, 나를 회복시켜 주셨습니다.
- 주님을 믿는 성도들아, 주님을 찬양하여라. 그 거룩한 이름을 찬양하여라.
- 주님의 진노는 잠깐이요, 그의 은총은 영원하니, 밤새도록 눈물을 흘려도, 새벽이 오면 기쁨이 넘친다.

- I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
- O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
- O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
- Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
- For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

- 내가 편히 지낼 때에는 "이제는 영원히 흔들리지 않겠지" 하였지만,
- 아, 태산보다 더 든든하게 은총으로 나를 지켜 주시던 주님께서 나를 외면하시자마자 나는 그만 두려움에 사로잡히고 말았습니다.
- 주님, 내가 주님께 부르짖었고, 주님께 은혜를 간구하였습니다.
- 내가 죽은들 주님께 무슨 유익이 되겠습니까? 내가 죽어 구덩이에 던져지는 것이 주님께 무슨 유익이 되겠습니까? 한 줌의 티끌이 주님을 찬양할 수 있습니까? 한 줌의 흙이 주님의 진리를 전파할 수 있습니까?
- 주님, 귀를 기울이시고 들어 주십시오. 나에게 은혜를 베풀어 주십시오. 주님, 주님께서 나를 돕는 분이 되어 주십시오.

- And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

- 주님께서는 내 통곡을 기쁨의 춤으로 바꾸어 주셨습니다. 나에게서 슬픔의 상복을 벗기시고, 기쁨의 나들이옷을 갈아입히셨기에
- 내 영혼이 잠잠할 수 없어서, 주님을 찬양하렵니다. 주, 나의 하나님, 내가 영원토록 주님께 감사를 드리렵니다.

- Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
- To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
