- 주님을 경외하는 사람에게 주시려고 주님께서 마련해 두신 복이 어찌 그리도 큰지요? 주님께서는 주님께로 피하는 사람들에게 복을 베푸십니다. 사람들이 보는 앞에서 복을 베푸십니다.
- 주님은 그들을 주님의 날개 그늘에 숨기시어 거짓말을 지어 헐뜯는 무리에게서 그들을 지켜 주시고, 그들을 안전한 곳에 감추시어 말다툼하는 자들에게서 건져 주셨습니다.
- 주님, 내가 주님을 찬양합니다. 내가 포위당했을 때에, 주님께서 나에게 놀라운 은총을 베푸셨기에, 내가 주님을 찬양합니다.
- 내가 포위되었을 그 때, 나는 놀란 나머지 "내가 이제 주님의 눈 밖에 났구나" 생각하며 좌절도 했지만, 주님께서는 내가 주님께 부르짖을 때에는, 내 간구를 들어주셨습니다.
- 주님을 믿는 성도들아, 너희 모두 주님을 사랑하여라. 주님께서 신실한 사람은 지켜 주시나, 거만한 사람은 가차없이 벌하신다.

- Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
- Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
- Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.
- For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.
- O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
