- 가난하고 힘없는 사람을 돌보는 사람은 복이 있다. 재난이 닥칠 때에 주님께서 그를 구해 주신다.
- 주님께서 그를 지키시며 살게 하신다. 그는 이 세상에서 복 있는 사람으로 여겨질 것이다. 주님께서 그를 원수의 뜻에 맡기지 않을 것이다.
- 주님께서는, 그가 병상에 누워 있을 때에도 돌보시며 어떤 병이든 떨치고 일어나게 하실 것이다.
- 내가 드릴 말씀은 이것입니다. "주님, 나에게 은혜를 베풀어 주셔서, 나를 고쳐 주십시오. 내가 주님께 죄를 지었습니다."
- 나의 원수들은 나쁜 말을 지어서 "저 자가 언제 죽어서, 그 후손이 끊어질까?" 하고 나에게 말합니다.

- Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
- The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
- The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
- I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
- Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?

- 나를 만나러 와서는 빈 말이나 늘어놓고, 음해할 말을 모아 두었다가, 거리로 나가면 곧 떠들어댑니다.
- 나를 미워하는 자들이 모두 나를 두고 험담을 꾸미고, 나를 해칠 궁리를 하면서
- "몹쓸 병마가 그를 사로잡았구나. 그가 병들어 누웠으니, 다시는 일어나지 못한다" 하고 수군댑니다.
- 내가 믿는 나의 소꿉동무, 나와 한 상에서 밥을 먹던 친구조차도, 내게 발길질을 하려고 뒤꿈치를 들었습니다.
- 그러나 주님은 나의 주님이시니, 나에게 은혜를 베풀어 주십시오. 나도 그들에게 되갚을 수 있도록 나를 일으켜 세워 주십시오.

- And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
- All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
- An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
- Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
- But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.

- 내 원수들이 내 앞에서 환호를 외치지 못하게 하여 주십시오. 이로써, 주님이 나를 사랑하심을 나는 알게 될 것입니다.
- 주님께서 나를 온전하게 지켜주시고 나를 주님 앞에 길이 세워 주십시오.
- 이스라엘의 하나님이신 주님, 찬양을 받으십시오. 영원에서 영원까지 찬양을 받으십시오. 아멘, 아멘.

- By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
- And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
- Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
