- 내 영혼이 잠잠히 하나님만을 기다림은 나의 구원이 그에게서만 나오기 때문이다.
- 하나님만이 나의 반석, 나의 구원, 나의 요새이시니, 나는 결코 흔들리지 않는다.
- 기울어 가는 담과도 같고 무너지는 돌담과도 같은 사람을, 너희가 죽이려고 다 함께 공격하니, 너희가 언제까지 그리하겠느냐?
- 너희가 그를 그 높은 자리에서 떨어뜨릴 궁리만 하고, 거짓말만 즐겨 하니, 입으로는 축복하지만 마음 속으로는 저주를 퍼붓는구나. （셀라）
- 내 영혼아, 잠잠히 하나님만 기다려라. 내 희망은 오직 하나님에게만 있다.

- Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.

- 하나님만이 나의 반석, 나의 구원, 나의 요새이시니, 나는 흔들리지 않는다.
- 내 구원과 영광이 하나님께 있다. 하나님은 내 견고한 바위이시요, 나의 피난처이시다.
- 하나님만이 우리의 피난처이시니, 백성아, 언제든지 그만을 의지하고, 그에게 너희의 속마음을 털어놓아라. （셀라）
- 신분이 낮은 사람도 입김에 지나지 아니하고, 신분이 높은 사람도 속임수에 지나지 아니하니, 그들을 모두 다 저울에 올려놓아도 입김보다 가벼울 것이다.
- 억압하는 힘을 의지하지 말고, 빼앗아서 무엇을 얻으려는 헛된 희망을 믿지 말며, 재물이 늘어나더라도 거기에 마음을 두지 말아라.

- In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
- Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
- Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
- Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
