- 하나님, 나를 구원해 주십시오. 목까지 물이 찼습니다.
- 발 붙일 곳이 없는 깊고 깊은 수렁에 빠졌습니다. 물 속 깊은 곳으로 빠져 들어갔으니, 큰 물결이 나를 휩쓸어갑니다.
- 목이 타도록 부르짖다가, 이 몸은 지쳤습니다. 눈이 빠지도록, 나는 나의 하나님을 기다렸습니다.
- 까닭도 없이 나를 미워하는 자들이 나의 머리털보다도 많고, 나를 없애버리려고 하는 자들, 내게 거짓 증거하는 원수들이 나보다 강합니다. 내가 훔치지도 않은 것까지 물어 주게 되었습니다.
- 하나님, 주님은 내 어리석음을 잘 알고 계시니, 내 죄를 주님 앞에서는 감출 수 없습니다.

- Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.
- I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
- I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
- They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
- O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.

- 만군의 주 하나님, 주님을 기다리는 사람들이 나 때문에 수치를 당하는 일이 없도록 하여 주십시오. 이스라엘의 하나님, 주님을 애써 찾는 사람들이 나 때문에 모욕을 당하는 일이 없도록 하여 주십시오.
- 주님 때문에 내가 욕을 먹고,내 얼굴이 수치로 덮였습니다.
- 친척에게 따돌림을 당하고, 어머니의 자녀들에게마저 낯선 사람이 되고 말았습니다.
- 주님의 집에 쏟은 내 열정이 내 안에서 불처럼 타고 있습니다. 그러나 주님을 모욕하는 자들의 모욕이 나에게로 쏟아집니다.
- 내가 금식하면서 울었으나, 그것이 오히려 나에게는 조롱거리가 되었습니다.

- Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.
- Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.
- I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.
- For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
- When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.

- 내가 베옷을 입고서 슬퍼하였으나, 오히려 그들에게는 말거리가 되었습니다.
- 성문에 앉아 있는 자들이 나를 비난하고, 술에 취한 자들이 나를 두고서 빈정거리는 노래를 지어 흥얼거립니다.
- 그러나 주님, 오직 주님께만 기도하오니, 하나님, 주님께서 나를 반기시는 그 때에, 주님의 한결같은 사랑과 주님의 확실한 구원으로 나에게 응답하여 주십시오.
- 나를 이 수렁에서 끌어내어 주셔서 그 속에 빠져들어가지 않게 하여 주십시오. 나를 미워하는 자들과 깊은 물에서 나를 건져 주십시오.
- 큰 물결이 나를 덮치지 못하게 해주십시오. 깊은 물이 나를 삼키지 못하게 해주십시오. 큰 구덩이가 입을 벌려 나를 삼키고 그 입을 닫지 못하게 해주십시오.

- I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.
- They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.
- But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.
- Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
- Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
