- 하나님, 주님은 어릴 때부터 나를 가르치셨기에, 주님께서 보여 주신 그 놀라운 일들을 내가 지금까지 전하고 있습니다.
- 내가 이제 늙어서, 머리카락에 희끗희끗 인생의 서리가 내렸어도 하나님, 나를 버리지 마십시오. 주님께서 팔을 펴서 나타내 보이신 그 능력을 오고오는 세대에 전하렵니다.
- 하나님, 주님의 의로우심이 저 하늘 높은 곳까지 미칩니다. 하나님, 주님께서 위대한 일을 하셨으니, 그 어느 누구를 주님과 견주어 보겠습니까?
- 주님께서 비록 많은 재난과 불행을 나에게 내리셨으나, 주님께서는 나를 다시 살려 주시며, 땅 깊은 곳에서, 나를 다시 이끌어내어 주실 줄 믿습니다.
- 주님께서는 나를 전보다 더 잘되게 해주시며, 나를 다시 위로해 주실 줄을 믿습니다.

- O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.
- Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.
- Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!
- Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
- Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

- 내가 거문고를 타며, 주님께 감사의 노래를 부르렵니다. 나의 하나님, 주님의 성실하심을 찬양하렵니다. 이스라엘의 거룩하신 주님, 내가 수금을 타면서 주님께 노래를 불러 올리렵니다.
- 내가 주님을 찬양할 때에, 내 입술은 흥겨운 노래로 가득 차고, 주님께서 속량하여 주신 나의 영혼이 흥겨워할 것입니다.
- 내 혀도 온종일, 주님의 의로우심을 말할 것입니다. 나를 음해하려던 자들은, 오히려 부끄러움을 당하고, 오히려 수치를 당할 것이기 때문입니다.

- I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
- My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
- My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.
