- 주님, 내가 주님께 부르짖고, 첫새벽에 주님께 기도드립니다.
- 주님, 어찌하여 주님은 나를 버리시고, 주님의 얼굴을 감추십니까?
- 나는 어려서부터 고통을 겪었고, 지금까지 죽음의 문턱에서 살아온 몸이기에, 주님께로부터 오는 그 형벌이 무서워서, 내 기력이 다 쇠잔해지고 말았습니다.

- Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction?
- Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
