- 주님, 주님께서 손수 만드신 것이 어찌 이리도 많습니까? 이 모든 것을 주님께서 지혜로 만드셨으니, 땅에는 주님이 지으신 것으로 가득합니다.
- 저 크고 넓은 바다에는, 크고 작은 고기들이 헤아릴 수 없이 우글거립니다.
- 물 위로는 배들도 오가며, 주님이 지으신 리워야단도 그 속에서 놉니다.
- 이 모든 피조물이 주님만 바라보며, 때를 따라서 먹이 주시기를 기다립니다.
- 주님께서 그들에게 먹이를 주시면, 그들은 받아 먹고, 주님께서 손을 펴 먹을 것을 주시면 그들은 만족해 합니다.

- O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
- So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
- There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.
- These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.
- That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

- 그러나 주님께서 얼굴을 숨기시면 그들은 떨면서 두려워하고, 주님께서 호흡을 거두어들이시면 그들은 죽어서 본래의 흙으로 돌아갑니다.
- 주님께서 주님의 영을 불어넣으시면, 그들이 다시 창조됩니다. 주님께서는 땅의 모습을 다시 새롭게 하십니다.

- Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
- Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
