- 주님의 종을 너그럽게 대해 주십시오. 그래야 내가 활력이 넘치게 살며, 주님의 말씀을 지킬 수 있습니다.
- 내 눈을 열어 주십시오. 그래야 내가 주님의 법 안에 있는 놀라운 진리를 볼 것입니다.
- 나는 땅 위를 잠시 동안 떠도는 나그네입니다. 주님의 계명을 나에게서 감추지 마십시오.
- 내 영혼이 주님의 율례들을 늘 사모하다가 쇠약해졌습니다.
- 주님께서는 오만한 자들을 책망하십니다. 그 저주 받은 자들은 주님의 계명에서 이탈하는 자들입니다.

- Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
- Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
- I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
- My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.
- Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.

- 그들이 나를 멸시하지 못하게 해주십시오. 그들이 나를 비웃지 못하게 해주십시오. 나는 주님의 교훈을 잘 지켰습니다.
- 고관들이 모여 앉아서, 나를 해롭게 할 음모를 꾸밉니다. 그러나 주님의 종은 오직 주님의 율례를 묵상하겠습니다.
- 주님의 증거가 나에게 기쁨을 주며, 주님의 교훈이 나의 스승이 됩니다.
- 내 영혼이 진토 속에서 뒹구니, 주님께서 약속하신 대로, 나에게 새 힘을 주십시오.

- Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
- Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
- Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.leth.
