- 주님, 주님의 율례들이 제시하는 길을 내게 가르쳐 주십시오. 내가 언제까지든지 그것을 지키겠습니다.
- 나를 깨우쳐 주십시오. 내가 주님의 법을 살펴보면서, 온 마음을 기울여서 지키겠습니다.
- 내가, 주님의 계명들이 가리키는 길을 걷게 하여 주십시오. 내가 기쁨을 누릴 길은 이 길뿐입니다.
- 내 마음이 주님의 증거에만 몰두하게 하시고, 내 마음이 탐욕으로 치닫지 않게 해주십시오.
- 내 눈이 헛된 것을 보지 않게 해주시고, 주님의 길을 활기차게 걷게 해주십시오.

- Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.
- Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
