- 주님을 경외하며, 주님의 명에 따라 사는 사람은, 그 어느 누구나 복을 받는다.
- 네 손으로 일한 만큼 네가 먹으니, 이것이 복이요, 은혜이다.
- 네 집 안방에 있는 네 아내는 열매를 많이 맺는 포도나무와 같고, 네 상에 둘러앉은 네 아이들은 올리브 나무의 묘목과도 같다.
- 주님을 경외하는 사람은 이와 같이 복을 받는다.
- 주님께서 시온에서 너에게 복을 내리시기를 빈다. 평생토록 너는, 예루살렘이 받은 은총을 보면서 살게 될 것이다.

- Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
- For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
- Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
- Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
- The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
