- 하나님, 내가 하나님께 새 노래를 불러 드리며, 열 줄 거문고를 타면서 하나님을 찬양하겠습니다.
- 왕들에게 승리를 안겨 주신 주님, 주님의 종 다윗을 무서운 칼에서 건져 주신 주님,
- 외적의 손에서 나를 끌어내셔서 건져 주십시오. 그들의 입은 헛된 것을 말하며, 그들이 맹세하는 오른손은 거짓으로 속이는 손입니다.
- 우리의 아들들은 어릴 때부터 나무처럼 튼튼하게 잘 자라고, 우리의 딸들은 궁전 모퉁이를 장식한 우아한 돌기둥처럼 잘 다듬어지고,
- 우리의 곳간에는 온갖 곡식이 가득하고, 우리가 기르는 양 떼는 넓은 들판에서 수천 배, 수만 배나 늘어나며,

- I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.
- It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.
- Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
- That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:
- That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:

- 우리가 먹이는 소들은 살이 찌고, 낙태하는 일도 없고, 잃어버리는 일도 없으며, 우리의 거리에는 울부짖는 소리가 전혀 없을 것이다.
- 이와 같은 백성은 복을 받은 백성이다. 주님을 자기의 하나님으로 섬기는 백성은 복을 받은 백성이다.

- That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.
- Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.
