예레미야 30:1-31:26

 하나님께서는 약속대로 유다가 포로 상태에서 회복될 것과 그들을 징계하던 대적들이 하나님의 심판으로 진멸될 것이라고 말씀하셨다. 그리고 이스라엘도 멸망 후 고난 속에서 마음을 돌이키고 회개하여 야웨께로 돌아오게 될 것을 말씀하셨다. 특히 메시아를 통해 야웨와 그 백성간에 새로운 언약이 성립될 것을 예고하셨다.
  
  이스라엘과 유다의 회복(30:1-31:26)    
 
  1. 주님께서 예레미야에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "주 이스라엘의 하나님이 말한다. 너는 내가 너에게 한 말을 모두 책에 기록하여라.
  3. 나 주의 말이다. 보아라, 반드시 그 때가 올 터이니, 그 때가 되면, 내가 포로로 잡혀 간 나의 백성을 다시 이스라엘과 유다로 데려오겠다. 나 주가 말한다. 내가 그들의 조상에게 준 땅으로 그들을 돌아오게 하여, 그들이 그 땅을 차지하게 하겠다."
  4. 이 말씀은 주님께서 이스라엘과 유다를 두고 일러주신 말씀이다.
  5. "나 주가 말한다. 무서워서 울부짖는 소리가 들려 온다. 평화는 없고, 폭력뿐이다.
  1. The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
  2. Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
  3. For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
  4. And these are the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
  5. For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.
  1. 너희는 남자도 해산을 하는지 물어 보아라. 어찌하여 남자들이 모조리 해산하는 여인처럼 배를 손으로 움켜 잡고 있으며, 모두 얼굴빛이 창백하게 변하였느냐?
  2. 슬프다, 그 날이여! 무엇과도 비교할 수 없는 무서운 날이다. 야곱이 당하는 환난의 때이다. 그러나 야곱은 구원을 받을 것이다.
  3. 나 만군의 주가 하는 말이다. 그 날이 오면, 내가 그의 목에서 멍에를 꺾고, 그의 사슬을 끊어서, 이방 사람들이 그를 더 이상 종으로 부리지 못하게 하겠다.
  4. 그러면 그들이 나 주를 자기들의 하나님으로 섬기며, 내가 그들에게 일으켜 줄 다윗의 자손을 자기들의 왕으로 섬길 것이다."
  5. "나의 종 야곱아, 너는 두려워하지 말아라. 이스라엘아, 너는 무서워하지 말아라. 나 주의 말이다. 보아라, 내가 너를 먼 곳에서 구원하여 데려오고, 포로로 잡혀 있는 땅에서 너의 자손을 구원할 것이니, 야곱이 고향으로 돌아와서 평안하고 안정되게 살 것이며, 아무런 위협도 받지 않고 살 것이다.
  1. Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
  2. Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
  3. For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:
  4. But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
  5. Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.
  1. 내가 너에게로 가서 너를 구원하겠다. 나 주의 말이다. 내가 너를 쫓아 여러 나라로 흩어 버렸지만, 이제는 내가 그 모든 나라를 멸망시키겠다. 그러나 너만은 멸망시키지 않고, 법에 따라서 징계하겠다. 나는 절대로 네가 벌을 면하게 하지는 않겠다.
  2. 나 주가 말한다. 네 상처는 고칠 수 없고, 네가 맞은 곳은 치유되지 않는다.
  3. 네 송사를 변호하여 줄 사람이 아무도 없고, 네 종기에는 치료약이 없으며, 너는 절대로 치유되지 않는다.
  4. 그래서 너를 사랑하던 사람들은 모두 너를 잊고, 더 이상 너를 찾아오지 않는다. 네 죄악이 크고 허물이 많기 때문에, 내가 원수를 치듯이 너를 치고, 잔악한 자를 징계하듯이 너를 징계하였다.
  5. 그런데 어찌하여 너는 상처를 입었다고 부르짖고, 고통이 가시지 않는다고 호소하느냐? 네 죄악이 크고 허물이 많아서, 내가 이런 벌을 너에게 내린 것이다."
  1. For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
  2. For thus saith the LORD, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous.
  3. There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines.
  4. All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased.
  5. Why criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.
  1. "그러나 이제는 너를 삼켰던 사람들도 모두 삼킴을 당하고, 네 원수들이 모두 포로로 잡혀 갈 것이다. 이제는 너를 약탈한 사람들이 약탈을 당하며, 너를 탈취한 모든 사람이 탈취를 당하게 하겠다.
  2. 비록 사람들이 너를 보고 '시온은 쫓겨난 여자요, 찾아오는 사람이 아무도 없는 여인이다!' 할지라도, 진정 내가 너를 고쳐 주고, 네 상처를 치료하여 주겠다. 나 주의 말이다."
  3. "나 주가 말한다. 내가 야곱의 장막들을 회복하여 놓고, 야곱의 거처를 불쌍하게 여겨, 폐허의 언덕에 다시 성읍을 세우고, 궁궐도 다시 제자리에 세우게 하겠다.
  4. 그러면 그들로부터 감사의 노래가 터져 나오고, 기쁨의 목소리가 퍼져 나올 것이다. 내가 그들을 번창하게 할 것이니, 그들의 수가 줄지 않을 것이며, 내가 그들을 영화롭게 할 것이니, 그들이 멸시를 당하지 않을 것이다.
  5. 그 자손이 옛날과 같이 회복되고, 그 회중이 나의 앞에서 굳건해질 것이다. 그를 억압하는 모든 사람을 내가 벌하겠다.
  1. Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.
  2. For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
  3. Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.
  4. And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
  5. Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.
  1. 그들의 지도자가 같은 겨레 가운데서 나오고, 그들의 통치자가 같은 민족 가운데서 나올 것이다. 내가 그를 부를 때에, 그는 나에게 가까이 올 것이다. 그렇지 않으면 누가 감히 목숨을 걸고, 나에게 가까이 올 수가 있겠느냐? 나 주의 말이다.
  2. 너희는 나의 백성이 되고, 나는 너희의 하나님이 될 것이다!"
  3. 주님의 진노가 폭풍처럼 터져 나온다. 휘몰아치는 바람처럼 악인들의 머리를 후려친다.
  4. 주님께서는 마음 속에서 뜻하신 바를 시행하고 이루실 때까지, 그 맹렬한 진노를 그치지 않으신다. 마지막 날에야 너희가 이것을 깨달을 것이다.
  1. And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD.
  2. And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
  3. Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.
  4. The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he hath done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.
 
 
  1. "나 주의 말이다. 때가 오면, 나는 이스라엘 모든 지파의 하나님이 되고, 그들은 나의 백성이 될 것이다.
  2. 나 주가 말한다. 전쟁에서 죽지 않고 살아 남은 백성이, 광야에서 은혜를 입었다. 이스라엘이 자기의 안식처를 찾아 나섰을 때에,
  3. 나 주가 먼 곳으로부터 와서 이스라엘에게 나타나 주었다. 나는 영원한 사랑으로 너를 사랑하였고, 한결같은 사랑을 너에게 베푼다.
  4. 처녀 이스라엘아, 내가 너를 일으켜 세우겠으니, 네가 다시 일어날 것이다. 너는 다시 너의 소구를 들고, 흥에 겨워 춤을 추며 나오게 될 것이다.
  5. 내가 너로 다시 사마리아 산마다 포도원을 만들 수 있게 하겠다. 포도를 심은 사람이 그 열매를 따 먹게 하겠다.
  1. At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
  2. Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
  3. The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
  4. Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.
  5. Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
  1. 에브라임 산에서 파수꾼들이 '어서 시온으로 올라가 주 우리의 하나님 앞으로 나아가자!' 하고 외치는 날이 반드시 올 것이다."
  2. "참으로 나 주가 말한다. 너희는 기쁨으로 야곱에게 환호하고 세계 만민의 머리가 된 이스라엘에게 환성을 올려라. '주님, 주님의 백성을 구원해 주십시오. 이스라엘의 남은 자를 구원해 주십시오.' 이렇게 선포하고 찬양하여라.
  3. 내가 그들을 북녘 땅에서 데리고 오겠으며, 땅의 맨 끝에서 모아 오겠다. 그들 가운데는 눈 먼 사람과 다리를 저는 사람도 있고, 임신한 여인과 해산한 여인도 있을 것이다. 그들이 큰 무리를 이루어 이 곳으로 돌아올 것이다.
  4. 그들이 눈물을 흘리면서 돌아올 것이며, 그들이 간구할 때에 내가 그들을 인도하겠다. 그들이 넘어지지 않게 평탄한 길로 인도하여, 물이 많은 시냇가로 가게 하겠다. 나는 이스라엘의 아버지이고, 에브라임은 나의 맏아들이기 때문이다."
  5. "뭇 민족들아, 너희는 나 주의 말을 듣고, 먼 해안지역 사람들에게 이 말을 전하여라. '이스라엘을 흩으신 분께서 그들을 다시 모으시고, 목자가 자기 양 떼를 지키듯이 그들을 지켜 주신다.'
  1. For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
  2. For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.
  3. Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.
  4. They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
  5. Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
  1. 그렇다. 나 주가 야곱을 속량하여 주고, 야곱보다 더 강한 자의 손에서 그를 구원해 냈다.
  2. 그들은 돌아와서 시온 산 꼭대기에서 찬송을 부르고, 주의 좋은 선물, 곧 곡식과 새 포도주와 기름과 양 새끼와 송아지들을 받고 기뻐할 것이며, 그들의 마음은 물 댄 동산과 같아서, 다시는 기력을 잃지 않을 것이다.
  3. 그 때에는 처녀가 춤을 추며 기뻐하고, 젊은이와 노인들이 함께 즐거워할 것이다. 내가 그들의 슬픔을 기쁨으로 바꾸어 놓고, 그들을 위로하여 주겠다. 그들이 근심에서 벗어나서 기뻐할 것이다.
  4. 그 때에는 내가 기름진 것으로 제사장들의 마음을 흡족하게 할 것이며, 내 좋은 선물로 내 백성을 만족하게 하겠다. 나 주의 말이다."
  5. "나 주가 말한다. 라마에서 슬픈 소리가 들린다. 비통하게 울부짖는 소리가 들린다. 라헬이 자식을 잃고 울고 있다. 자식들이 없어졌으니, 위로를 받기조차 거절하는구나.
  1. For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
  2. Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
  3. Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
  4. And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.
  5. Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
  1. 나 주가 말한다. 이제는 울음소리도 그치고, 네 눈에서 눈물도 거두어라. 네가 수고한 보람이 있어서, 네 아들딸들이 적국에서 돌아온다. 나 주의 말이다.
  2. 너의 앞날에는 희망이 있다. 네 아들딸들이 고향 땅으로 돌아온다. 나 주의 말이다."
  3. "에브라임이 탄식하는 소리를 내가 분명히 들었다. '주님, 우리는 길들지 않은 짐승 같았습니다. 그러나 주님께서 우리를 가르쳐 주셨고, 순종하게 하셨습니다. 우리가 돌아갈 수 있게 이끌어 주십시오. 이제 우리가 주 우리의 하나님께 돌아갈 준비가 되었습니다.
  4. 주님을 떠난 다음에 곧 뉘우쳤습니다. 잘못을 깨달은 다음에 가슴을 치며 뉘우쳤습니다. 그리고 저의 젊은 시절의 허물 때문에 저는 수치와 수모를 겪어야 했습니다.'
  5. 에브라임은 나의 귀한 아들이다. 내가 가장 사랑하는 자식이다. 그를 책망할 때마다 더욱 생각나서, 측은한 마음이 들어 불쌍히 여기지 않을 수 없었다. 나 주의 말이다."
  1. Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
  2. And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.
  3. I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.
  4. Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.
  5. Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.
  1. "너는 길에 푯말을 세우고, 길표를 만들어 세워라. 네가 전에 지나갔던 길과 대로를 잘 생각하여 보아라. 처녀 이스라엘아, 돌아오너라. 너희가 살던 이 성읍들로 돌아오너라.
  2. 너 방종한 딸아, 네가 언제까지 방황하겠느냐? 주님께서 이 땅에 새 것을 창조하셨으니, 그것은 곧 여자가 남자를 안는 것이다."
  3. "나 만군의 주, 이스라엘의 하나님이 말한다. 내가 포로로 잡혀 간 사람들을 돌아오게 할 때에, 사람들은 유다 땅과 유다의 성읍에서 이런 말을 다시 하게 될 것이다. '너 정의의 보금자리, 거룩한 산이여, 주님의 복을 받아라.'
  4. 그 때에는 유다와 그 모든 성읍에 사람들이 이주하여 살고, 농부들도 농촌에 모여 살고, 유랑하는 목자들도 가축 떼를 몰고 다닐 것이다.
  5. 나는 지친 사람들에게 새 힘을 주고, 굶주려서 허약해진 사람들을 배불리 먹이겠다.
  1. Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
  2. How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
  3. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.
  4. And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.
  5. For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
  1. 그 때에 백성은 '잠에서 깨어나 눈을 떠 보니, 나에게 아주 단잠이었다' 하고 말할 것이다."
  1. Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.
