- 하나님, 나를 지켜 주십시오. 내가 주님께로 피합니다.
- 나더러 주님에 대해 말하라면 '하나님은 나의 주님, 주님을 떠나서는 내게 행복이 없다' 하겠습니다.
- 땅에 사는 성도들에 관해 말하라면 '성도들은 존귀한 사람들이요, 나의 기쁨이다' 하겠습니다.
- 다른 신들을 섬기는 자들은 더욱더 고통을 당할 것이다. 나는 그들처럼 피로 빚은 제삿술을 그 신들에게 바치지 않겠으며, 나의 입에 그 신들의 이름도 올리지 않겠다.
- 아, 주님, 주님이야말로 내가 받을 유산의 몫입니다. 주님께서는 나에게 필요한 모든 복을 내려주십니다. 나의 미래는 주님이 책임지십니다.

- Preserve me, O God, for I take refuge in You.
- I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; I have no good besides You."
- As for the saints who are in the earth, They are the majestic ones in whom is all my delight.
- The sorrows of those who have bartered for another god will be multiplied; I shall not pour out their drink offerings of blood, Nor will I take their names upon my lips.
- The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You support my lot.

- 줄로 재어서 나에게 주신 그 땅은 기름진 곳입니다. 참으로 나는, 빛나는 유산을 물려받았습니다.
- 주님께서 날마다 좋은 생각을 주시며, 밤마다 나의 마음에 교훈을 주시니, 내가 주님을 찬양합니다.
- 주님은 언제나 나와 함께 계시는 분, 그가 나의 오른쪽에 계시니, 나는 흔들리지 않는다.
- 주님, 참 감사합니다. 이 마음은 기쁨으로 가득 차고, 이 몸도 아무 해를 두려워하지 않는 까닭은,
- 주님께서 나를 보호하셔서 죽음의 세력이 나의 생명을 삼키지 못하게 하실 것이며 주님의 거룩한 자를 죽음의 세계에 버리지 않으실 것이기 때문입니다.

- The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.
- I will bless the LORD who has counseled me; Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night.
- I have set the LORD continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
- Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will dwell securely.
- For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol; Nor will You allow Your Holy One to undergo decay.

- 주님께서 몸소 생명의 길을 나에게 보여 주시니, 주님을 모시고 사는 삶에 기쁨이 넘칩니다. 주님께서 내 오른쪽에 계시니, 이 큰 즐거움이 영원토록 이어질 것입니다.
