- 젊은이들아, 와서 내 말을 들어라. 주님을 경외하는 길을 너희에게 가르쳐 주겠다.
- 인생을 즐겁게 지내고자 하는 사람, 그 사람은 누구냐? 좋은 일을 보면서 오래 살고 싶은 사람, 그 사람은 또 누구냐?
- 네 혀로 악한 말을 하지 말며, 네 입술로 거짓말을 하지 말아라.
- 악한 일은 피하고, 선한 일만 하여라. 평화를 찾기까지, 있는 힘을 다하여라.
- 주님의 눈은 의로운 사람을 살피시며, 주님의 귀는 그들이 부르짖는 소리를 들으신다.

- Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
- Who is the man who desires life And loves length of days that he may see good?
- Keep your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit.
- Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.
- The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous And His ears are open to their cry.

- 주님의 얼굴은 악한 일을 하는 자를 노려보시며, 그들에 대한 기억을 이 땅에서 지워 버리신다.
- 의인이 부르짖으면 주님께서 반드시 들어 주시고, 그 모든 재난에서 반드시 건져 주신다.
- 주님은, 마음 상한 사람에게 가까이 계시고, 낙심한 사람을 구원해 주신다.
- 의로운 사람에게는 고난이 많지만, 주님께서는 그 모든 고난에서 그를 건져 주신다.
- 뼈마디 하나하나 모두 지켜 주시니, 어느 것 하나도 부러지지 않는다.

- The face of the LORD is against evildoers, To cut off the memory of them from the earth.
- The righteous cry, and the LORD hears And delivers them out of all their troubles.
- The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.
- Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
- He keeps all his bones, Not one of them is broken.

- 악인은 그 악함 때문에 끝내 죽음을 맞고, 의인을 미워하는 사람은, 반드시 마땅한 벌을 받을 것이다.
- 주님은 주님의 종들의 목숨을 건져 주시니, 그를 피난처로 삼는 사람은, 정죄를 받지 않을 것이다.

- Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
- The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.
