신명기 11:1-12:28

 모세는 하나님의 규례와 법도를 지키는 자가 받을 복과 거역하는 자가 받을 저주에 대해 말하고 이것을 가나안 땅의 그리심 산과 에발 산에서 선포할 것을 명했다. 또한 그는 백성들에게 가나안에 정착한 후 우상을 타파하고, 오직 하나님이 택하신 곳에서 제물을 드리며, 그 곳에서 제물을 먹되 피는 먹지 말 것을 명령했다.
  
  말씀 순종에 따른 복과 저주(11:1-11:32)    
 
  1. "그러므로 당신들은 주 당신들의 하나님을 사랑하며, 그의 직임과 법도와 규례와 명령을 항상 지키십시오.
  2. 주 하나님의 위엄과 강한 손과 편 팔을 기억해야 할 사람은, 당신들의 자녀가 아니라 바로 당신들입니다. 당신들의 자녀들은 주 당신들의 하나님이 하신 일과 내리신 명령을 보지도 못하고 듣지도 못하였습니다.
  3. 당신들이 또 기억해야 할 것은, 주님께서 이집트의 바로 왕과 그의 온 땅에 기적과 표징을 일으키신 것과,
  4. 주님께서, 당신들 뒤를 쫓아온 이집트의 군대와 군마와 병거를 홍해 바닷물로 휩쓸어, 오늘에 이르기까지 흔적도 없이 멸하신 일과,
  5. 또 당신들이 이 곳에 이르기까지 광야에서 당신들에게 하신 일과,
  1. "You shall therefore love the LORD your God, and always keep His charge, His statutes, His ordinances, and His commandments.
  2. "Know this day that I am not speaking with your sons who have not known and who have not seen the discipline of the LORD your God--His greatness, His mighty hand and His outstretched arm,
  3. and His signs and His works which He did in the midst of Egypt to Pharaoh the king of Egypt and to all his land;
  4. and what He did to Egypt's army, to its horses and its chariots, when He made the water of the Red Sea to engulf them while they were pursuing you, and the LORD completely destroyed them;
  5. and what He did to you in the wilderness until you came to this place;
  1. 르우벤의 손자요 엘리압의 아들인 다단과 아비람에게 하신 일, 곧 땅이 입을 벌려 온 이스라엘 가운데서 그들과 그들의 집안과 장막과 제 발로 걸어다니는 모든 짐승을 함께 삼켜버리게 하신 일입니다.
  2. 당신들은 주님께서 하신 이 위대한 모든 일을 당신들 눈으로 보았습니다."
  3. "그러니 당신들은 오늘 내가 당신들에게 내리는 모든 명령을 지키십시오. 그러면 당신들은 힘을 얻고, 당신들이 건너가 차지하려는 땅에 들어가서, 그 땅을 실제로 차지할 것입니다.

  1. and what He did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben, when the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them, their households, their tents, and every living thing that followed them, among all Israel--
  2. but your own eyes have seen all the great work of the LORD which He did.
  3. "You shall therefore keep every commandment which I am commanding you today, so that you may be strong and go in and possess the land into which you are about to cross to possess it;
  4. so that you may prolong your days on the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.
  5. "For the land, into which you are entering to possess it, is not like the land of Egypt from which you came, where you used to sow your seed and water it with your foot like a vegetable garden.
  1. 당신들이 건너가서 차지할 땅에는 산과 골짜기가 많아서, 하늘에서 내린 빗물로 밭에 물을 댑니다.
  2. 주 당신들의 하나님이 몸소 돌보시는 땅이고, 주 당신들의 하나님의 눈길이 해마다 정초부터 섣달 그믐날까지 늘 보살펴 주시는 땅입니다.
  3. 당신들이, 오늘 내가 당신들에게 명하는 그의 명령들을 착실히 듣고, 주 당신들의 하나님을 사랑하며, 온 마음과 정성을 다하여 주님을 섬기면,

  1. "But the land into which you are about to cross to possess it, a land of hills and valleys, drinks water from the rain of heaven,
  2. a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning even to the end of the year.
  3. "It shall come about, if you listen obediently to my commandments which I am commanding you today, to love the LORD your God and to serve Him with all your heart and all your soul,
  4. that He will give the rain for your land in its season, the early and late rain, that you may gather in your grain and your new wine and your oil.
  5. "He will give grass in your fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.
  1. 당신들은, 유혹을 받고 마음이 변하여, 다른 신들을 섬기거나 그 신들 앞에 엎드려서 절을 하는 일이 없도록 주의하십시오.
  2. 당신들이 다른 신들을 섬기면, 주님께서는 당신들에게 진노하셔서, 하늘을 닫고 비를 내리지 않으실 것이며, 당신들은 밭에서 아무것도 거두지 못할 것입니다. 그렇게 되면 당신들은, 주님께서 주신 기름진 땅에서도 순식간에 망할 것입니다.

  5. 당신들의 집 문설주와 대문에도 써서 붙이십시오.
  1. "Beware that your hearts are not deceived, and that you do not turn away and serve other gods and worship them.
  2. "Or the anger of the LORD will be kindled against you, and He will shut up the heavens so that there will be no rain and the ground will not yield its fruit; and you will perish quickly from the good land which the LORD is giving you.
  3. "You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead.
  4. "You shall teach them to your sons, talking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up.
  5. "You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,
  1. 그러면 주님께서 당신들 조상에게 주겠다고 맹세하신 땅에서, 당신들과 당신들 자손이 오래오래 살 것입니다. 당신들은 하늘과 땅이 없어질 때까지 길이길이 삶을 누릴 것입니다.

  1. so that your days and the days of your sons may be multiplied on the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give them, as long as the heavens remain above the earth.
  2. "For if you are careful to keep all this commandment which I am commanding you to do, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and hold fast to Him,
  3. then the LORD will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will dispossess nations greater and mightier than you.
  4. "Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours; your border will be from the wilderness to Lebanon, and from the river, the river Euphrates, as far as the western sea.
  5. "No man will be able to stand before you; the LORD your God will lay the dread of you and the fear of you on all the land on which you set foot, as He has spoken to you.
  1. 보십시오, 내가 오늘 당신들 앞에 복과 저주를 내놓습니다.
  2. 오늘 내가 당신들에게 명하는 주 당신들의 하나님의 명령을 귀담아 듣는 사람은 복을 받을 것이며,

  1. "See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse:
  2. the blessing, if you listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, which I am commanding you today;
  3. and the curse, if you do not listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside from the way which I am commanding you today, by following other gods which you have not known.
  4. "It shall come about, when the LORD your God brings you into the land where you are entering to possess it, that you shall place the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal.
  5. "Are they not across the Jordan, west of the way toward the sunset, in the land of the Canaanites who live in the Arabah, opposite Gilgal, beside the oaks of Moreh?
  1. "당신들은 이제 요단 강을 건너가서, 주 당신들의 하나님이 당신들에게 주시는 땅을 차지하려고 합니다. 당신들이 그 땅을 차지하고 자리를 잡거든,
  2. 당신들은 오늘 내가 당신들에게 준 모든 규례와 법규를 성심껏 지키십시오.
  1. "For you are about to cross the Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God is giving you, and you shall possess it and live in it,
  2. and you shall be careful to do all the statutes and the judgments which I am setting before you today.
 
  하나님께 예배드릴 처소(12:1-12:28)    
 
  1. 당신들이 땅 위에서 사는 날 동안, 주 당신들 조상의 하나님이 당신들에게 차지하게 하신 땅에서, 당신들이 지켜야 할 규례와 법도는 다음과 같습니다.
  2. 당신들은 당신들이 쫓아낼 민족들이 뭇 신을 섬기는 곳은, 높은 산이든지 낮은 언덕이든지 무성한 나무 아래이든지, 어느 곳이든지 다 허물어야 합니다.
  3. 거기에 있는 제단을 허물고, 석상을 부수고, 아세라 목상을 불태우고, 신상들을 부수고, 그들의 이름을 그 곳에서 지워서 아무도 기억하지 못하게 하여야 합니다.
  4. 그러나 당신들은 주 당신들의 하나님을 섬길 때에 이방 민족들이 그들의 신들을 섬기는 방식으로 섬겨서는 안 됩니다.
  5. 당신들은, 주 당신들의 하나님이 자기의 이름을 두려고 거처로 삼으신, 당신들 모든 지파 가운데서 택하신 그 곳으로 찾아가서 예배를 드려야 합니다.
  1. "These are the statutes and the judgments which you shall carefully observe in the land which the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess as long as you live on the earth.
  2. "You shall utterly destroy all the places where the nations whom you shall dispossess serve their gods, on the high mountains and on the hills and under every green tree.
  3. "You shall tear down their altars and smash their sacred pillars and burn their Asherim with fire, and you shall cut down the engraved images of their gods and obliterate their name from that place.
  4. "You shall not act like this toward the LORD your God.
  5. "But you shall seek the LORD at the place which the LORD your God will choose from all your tribes, to establish His name there for His dwelling, and there you shall come.
  1. 당신들은, 번제물과 화목제물과 십일조와 높이 들어 바치는 곡식제물과 서원제물과 자원제물과 소나 양의 처음 난 것을, 그 곳으로 가져다가 바쳐야 합니다.
  2. 당신들은 주 당신들의 하나님이 계시는 그 앞에서 먹도록 하십시오. 그리고 주 당신들의 하나님이 당신들이 수고한 일에 복을 주신 것을 생각하면서, 가족과 함께 즐거워하십시오.
  3. 오늘 여기에서는 우리가 저마다 자기의 소견대로 예배를 드리지만, 거기에 가서는 그렇게 하지 못합니다.

  2. "There also you and your households shall eat before the LORD your God, and rejoice in all your undertakings in which the LORD your God has blessed you.
  3. "You shall not do at all what we are doing here today, every man doing whatever is right in his own eyes;
  4. for you have not as yet come to the resting place and the inheritance which the LORD your God is giving you.
  5. "When you cross the Jordan and live in the land which the LORD your God is giving you to inherit, and He gives you rest from all your enemies around you so that you live in security,
  1. 당신들은, 내가 당신들에게 명한 모든 것 곧 번제물과 화목제물과 십일조와 높이 들어 바치는 곡식제물과 주님께 바치기로 서원한 모든 서원제물을 주 당신들의 하나님이 그의 이름을 두려고 선택하신 그 곳으로 가지고 가서 바쳐야 합니다.
  2. 거기에서 당신들은 주 당신들의 하나님을 앞에 모시고 즐거워하십시오. 당신들만이 아니라, 당신들의 자녀들, 남종과 여종, 당신들처럼 차지할 몫이나 유산도 없이 성 안에서 사는 레위 사람을 다 불러서 함께 즐거워하십시오.
  3. 당신들은 당신들이 택한 아무 곳에서나 번제를 드리는 일이 없도록 조심하십시오.
  4. 주님께서 당신들의 지파 가운데서 한 곳을 택하실 터이니, 그 곳으로 가서 번제를 드리고, 내가 당신들에게 명령한 다른 모든 것을 지키십시오.
  5. 당신들은, 주 하나님이 당신들에게 베풀어 주신 복을 따라서, 마음에 내키는 대로, 성 안 어디서든지 짐승을 잡아먹을 수 있습니다. 정한 사람이든지 부정을 탄 사람이든지, 모두 다 노루나 사슴 고기를 먹듯이, 잡은 짐승의 고기를 먹을 수 있습니다.
  1. then it shall come about that the place in which the LORD your God will choose for His name to dwell, there you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the contribution of your hand, and all your choice votive offerings which you will vow to the LORD.
  2. "And you shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you and your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levite who is within your gates, since he has no portion or inheritance with you.
  3. "Be careful that you do not offer your burnt offerings in every cultic place you see,
  4. but in the place which the LORD chooses in one of your tribes, there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that I command you.
  5. "However, you may slaughter and eat meat within any of your gates, whatever you desire, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you; the unclean and the clean may eat of it, as of the gazelle and the deer.
  1. 그러나 피는 먹지 못합니다. 물처럼 땅에 쏟아 버려야 합니다.
  2. 당신들이 십일조로 바친 곡식과 포도주와 기름과 소와 양의 처음 난 것과 서원하고 드린 갖가지 서원제물과 자원제물과 높이 들어 바치는 곡식제물은, 성 안에서는 먹을 수 없습니다.
  3. 그것은 주 당신들의 하나님이 택하신 곳으로 가지고 가서, 주 당신들의 하나님을 앞에 모시고 먹도록 하십시오. 당신들과 당신들의 자녀와 남종과 여종과 성 안에 사는 레위 사람과 함께 먹고, 주 당신들의 하나님 앞에서 높이 들어 바친 모든 것을 즐거워하십시오.

  1. "Only you shall not eat the blood; you are to pour it out on the ground like water.
  2. "You are not allowed to eat within your gates the tithe of your grain or new wine or oil, or the firstborn of your herd or flock, or any of your votive offerings which you vow, or your freewill offerings, or the contribution of your hand.
  3. "But you shall eat them before the LORD your God in the place which the LORD your God will choose, you and your son and daughter, and your male and female servants, and the Levite who is within your gates; and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God in all your undertakings.
  4. "Be careful that you do not forsake the Levite as long as you live in your land.
  5. "When the LORD your God extends your border as He has promised you, and you say, 'I will eat meat,' because you desire to eat meat, then you may eat meat, whatever you desire.
  1. 주 당신들의 하나님이 그의 이름을 두려고 택하신 곳이 당신들이 있는 곳에서 멀거든, 내가 당신들에게 명한 대로, 주님께서 당신들에게 주신 소나 양을 잡아서, 당신들의 마음에 내키는 대로 성 안에서 먹도록 하십시오.
  2. 정한 사람이든지 부정을 탄 사람이든지, 모두 다 노루나 사슴 고기를 먹듯이, 성 안에서 잡은 그 고기를 먹을 수 있습니다.
  3. 그러나 어떤 일이 있어도 피는 먹어서는 안 됩니다. 피는 생명이고, 생명을 고기와 함께 먹어서는 안 되기 때문입니다.
  4. 피는 먹지 못합니다. 물처럼 땅에 쏟아 버려야 합니다.
  5. 그것을 먹어서는 안 됩니다. 당신들이 주님 보시기에 바른 일을 하여야, 당신들과 당신들의 자손도 잘 될 것입니다.
  1. "If the place which the LORD your God chooses to put His name is too far from you, then you may slaughter of your herd and flock which the LORD has given you, as I have commanded you; and you may eat within your gates whatever you desire.
  2. "Just as a gazelle or a deer is eaten, so you will eat it; the unclean and the clean alike may eat of it.
  3. "Only be sure not to eat the blood, for the blood is the life, and you shall not eat the life with the flesh.
  4. "You shall not eat it; you shall pour it out on the ground like water.
  5. "You shall not eat it, so that it may be well with you and your sons after you, for you will be doing what is right in the sight of the LORD.
  1. 그러나 당신들이 바치고자 하는 거룩한 제물이나 서원제물만은, 주님께서 택하신 그 곳으로 가지고 가야 합니다.
  2. 당신들이 번제를 드릴 때에는, 고기와 피를 주 당신들의 하나님의 제단에 드리십시오. 그리고 당신들이 바친 제물의 피는 주 당신들의 하나님의 제단 곁에 붓고, 고기는 당신들이 먹도록 하십시오.
  3. 내가 당신들에게 명하는 이 모든 말을 잘 들어서 지키고, 또 주 당신들의 하나님 앞에서 선과 의를 행하면, 당신들뿐만 아니라 당신들의 자손도 영원토록 복을 받을 것입니다."
  1. "Only your holy things which you may have and your votive offerings, you shall take and go to the place which the LORD chooses.
  2. "And you shall offer your burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, on the altar of the LORD your God; and the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out on the altar of the LORD your God, and you shall eat the flesh.
  3. "Be careful to listen to all these words which I command you, so that it may be well with you and your sons after you forever, for you will be doing what is good and right in the sight of the LORD your God.
