누가복음 11:37-12:12

 예수님은 외식과 부패로 만연한 바리새인과 율법사들에 대하여 여섯 가지 화를 선포하셨다. 예수님의 경고를 들은 그들은 회개하기는 커녕 오히려 예수님을 잡으려 하였다. 바리새인들과의 대립이 심화되어 가자 예수님은 제자들에게 그들의 교훈을 멀리하고 핍박에 대비하라고 경계시키셨다.
  
  여섯 가지 화(11:37-11:54)    
 
  1. 예수께서 말씀하실 때에, 바리새파 사람 하나가 자기 집에서 잡수시기를 청하니, 예수께서 들어가서 앉으셨다.
  2. 그런데 그 바리새파 사람은, 예수가 잡수시기 전에 먼저 손을 씻지 않으신 것을 보고, 이상히 여겼다.
  3. 그러나 주님께서는 그에게 말씀하셨다. "지금 너희 바리새파 사람들은 잔과 접시의 겉은 깨끗하게 하지만, 너희 속에는 탐욕과 악독이 가득하다.
  4. 어리석은 사람들아, 겉을 만드신 분이 속도 만들지 아니하셨느냐?
  5. 그 속에 있는 것으로 자선을 베풀어라. 그리하면 모든 것이 너희에게 깨끗해질 것이다.
  1. Now when He had spoken, a Pharisee asked Him to have lunch with him; and He went in, and reclined at the table.
  2. When the Pharisee saw it, he was surprised that He had not first ceremonially washed before the meal.
  3. But the Lord said to him, "Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and of the platter; but inside of you, you are full of robbery and wickedness.
  4. "You foolish ones, did not He who made the outside make the inside also?
  5. "But give that which is within as charity, and then all things are clean for you.
  1. 너희 바리새파 사람들에게 화가 있다! 너희는 박하와 운향과 온갖 채소의 십일조는 바치면서, 정의와 하나님께 대한 사랑은 소홀히 한다! 그런 것들도 반드시 행해야 하지만, 이런 것들도 소홀히 하지 않았어야 하였다.
  2. 너희 바리새파 사람들에게 화가 있다! 너희는 회당에서 높은 자리에 앉기를 좋아하고, 장터에서 인사 받기를 좋아한다!
  3. 너희에게 화가 있다! 너희는 드러나지 않게 만든 무덤과 같아서, 사람들이 그 위를 밟고 다니면서도, 그것이 무덤인지를 알지 못한다!"
  4. 율법교사 가운데 어떤 사람이 예수께 말하였다. "선생님, 선생님이 이렇게 말씀하시면, 우리까지도 모욕하시는 것입니다."
  5. 예수께서 말씀하셨다. "그렇다. 너희 율법교사들에게도 화가 있다! 너희는 지기 어려운 짐을 사람들에게 지우면서, 너희 자신은 손가락 하나도 그 짐에 대려고 하지 않는다!
  1. "But woe to you Pharisees! For you pay tithe of mint and rue and every kind of garden herb, and yet disregard justice and the love of God; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others.
  2. "Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the chief seats in the synagogues and the respectful greetings in the market places.
  3. "Woe to you! For you are like concealed tombs, and the people who walk over them are unaware of it."
  4. One of the lawyers said to Him in reply, "Teacher, when You say this, You insult us too."
  5. But He said, "Woe to you lawyers as well! For you weigh men down with burdens hard to bear, while you yourselves will not even touch the burdens with one of your fingers.
  1. 너희에게 화가 있다! 너희는 너희 조상들이 죽인 예언자들의 무덤을 세운다.
  2. 그렇게 함으로써 너희는 너희 조상들이 저지른 소행을 증언하며 찬동하는 것이다. 너희의 조상들은 예언자들을 죽였는데, 너희는 그들의 무덤을 세우기 때문이다.
  3. 그러므로 하나님의 지혜도 말하기를 '내가 예언자들과 사도들을 그들에게 보내겠는데, 그들은 그 가운데서 더러는 죽이고, 더러는 박해할 것이다' 하였다.
  4. 창세 이래로 흘린 모든 예언자들의 피의 대가를 이 세대에게 요구할 것이다.
  5. 아벨의 피에서 비롯하여 제단과 성소 사이에서 죽은 사가랴의 피에 이르기까지 말이다. 그렇다. 나는 너희에게 말한다. 이 세대가 그 책임을 져야 할 것이다.
  1. "Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and it was your fathers who killed them.
  2. "So you are witnesses and approve the deeds of your fathers; because it was they who killed them, and you build their tombs.
  3. "For this reason also the wisdom of God said, 'I will send to them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and some they will persecute,
  4. so that the blood of all the prophets, shed since the foundation of the world, may be charged against this generation,
  5. from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the house of God; yes, I tell you, it shall be charged against this generation.'
  1. 너희 율법교사들에게 화가 있다! 너희는 지식의 열쇠를 가로채서, 너희 자신도 들어가지 않고, 또 들어가려고 하는 사람들도 막았다!"
  2. 예수께서 그 집에서 나오실 때에, 율법학자들과 바리새파 사람들은 잔뜩 앙심을 품고서, 여러 가지 물음으로 예수를 몰아붙이기 시작하였다.
  3. 그들은 예수의 입에서 나오는 말에서 트집을 잡으려고 노렸다.
  1. "Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge; you yourselves did not enter, and you hindered those who were entering."
  2. When He left there, the scribes and the Pharisees began to be very hostile and to question Him closely on many subjects,
  3. plotting against Him to catch Him in something He might say.
 
  환난에 대한 격려(12:1-12:12)    
 
  1. 그 동안에 수천 명이나 되는 무리가 모여들어서, 서로 밟힐 지경에 이르렀다. 예수께서는 먼저 자기 제자들에게 말씀하셨다. "너희는 바리새파 사람의 누룩 곧 위선을 경계하여라.
  2. 가려 놓은 것이라고 해도 벗겨지지 않을 것이 없고, 숨겨 놓은 것이라 해도 알려지지 않을 것이 없다.
  3. 그러므로 너희가 어두운 데서 말한 것들을 사람들이 밝은 데서 들을 것이고, 너희가 골방에서 귀에 대고 속삭인 그것을 사람들이 지붕 위에서 선포할 것이다."
  4. "내 친구인 너희에게 내가 말한다. 육신은 죽여도 그 다음에는 그 이상 아무것도 할 수 없는 자들을 두려워하지 말아라.
  5. 너희가 누구를 두려워해야 할지를 내가 보여 주겠다. 죽인 다음에 지옥에 던질 권세를 가지신 분을 두려워하여라. 그렇다. 내가 너희에게 말한다. 그분을 두려워하여라.
  1. Under these circumstances, after so many thousands of people had gathered together that they were stepping on one another, He began saying to His disciples first of all, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
  2. "But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
  3. "Accordingly, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in the inner rooms will be proclaimed upon the housetops.
  4. "I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that have no more that they can do.
  5. "But I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him!
  1. 참새 다섯 마리가 두 냥에 팔리지 않느냐? 그러나 그 가운데 하나라도, 하나님께서는 잊고 계시지 않는다.
  2. 하나님께서는 너희 머리카락까지도 다 세고 계신다. 두려워하지 말아라. 너희는 많은 참새보다 더 귀하다."
  3. "내가 너희에게 말한다. 누구든지 사람들 앞에서 나를 시인하면, 인자도 하나님의 천사들 앞에서 그 사람을 시인할 것이다.
  4. 그러나 사람들 앞에서 나를 부인하는 사람은, 하나님의 천사들 앞에서 부인당할 것이다.
  5. 누구든지 인자를 거슬러서 말하는 사람은 용서를 받을 것이지만, 성령을 거슬러서 모독하는 말을 한 사람은 용서를 받지 못할 것이다.
  1. "Are not five sparrows sold for two cents? Yet not one of them is forgotten before God.
  2. "Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.
  3. "And I say to you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man will confess him also before the angels of God;
  4. but he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.
  5. "And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him.
  1. 너희가 회당과 통치자와 권력자 앞에 끌려갈 때에, '어떻게 대답하고, 무엇을 대답할까', 또 '무슨 말을 할까' 하고 염려하지 말아라.
  2. 너희가 말해야 할 것을 바로 그 시각에 성령께서 가르쳐 주실 것이다."
  1. "When they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say;
  2. for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say."
