- 너희 통치자들아, 너희가 정말 정의를 말하느냐? 너희가 공정하게 사람을 재판하느냐?
- 그렇지 않구나. 너희가 마음으로는 불의를 꾸미고, 손으로는 이 땅에서 폭력을 일삼고 있구나.
- 악한 사람은 모태에서부터 곁길로 나아갔으며, 거짓말을 하는 자는 제 어머니 뱃속에서부터 빗나갔구나.
- 그들은 독사처럼 독기가 서려, 귀를 틀어막은 귀머거리 살무사처럼,
- 마술사의 홀리는 소리도 듣지 않고, 능숙한 술객의 요술도 따르지 않는구나.

- Do you indeed speak righteousness, O gods? Do you judge uprightly, O sons of men?
- No, in heart you work unrighteousness; On earth you weigh out the violence of your hands.
- The wicked are estranged from the womb; These who speak lies go astray from birth.
- They have venom like the venom of a serpent; Like a deaf cobra that stops up its ear,
- So that it does not hear the voice of charmers, Or a skillful caster of spells.

- 하나님, 그들의 이빨을 그 입 안에서 부러뜨려 주십시오. 주님, 젊은 사자들의 송곳니를 부수어 주십시오.
- 그들을 급류처럼 흔적도 없이 사라지게 해주십시오. 겨누는 화살이 꺾인 화살이 되게 해주십시오.
- 움직일 때 녹아내리는 달팽이같이 되게 해주십시오. 달을 채우지 못한 미숙아가 죽어서 나와 햇빛을 못 보는 것같이 되게 해주십시오.
- 가시나무 불이 가마를 뜨겁게 하기 전에 생것과 불붙은 것이, 강한 바람에 휩쓸려 가게 해주십시오.
- 의로운 사람이 악인이 당하는 보복을 목격하고 기뻐하게 하시며, 악인의 피로 그 발을 씻게 해주십시오.

- O God, shatter their teeth in their mouth; Break out the fangs of the young lions, O LORD.
- Let them flow away like water that runs off; When he aims his arrows, let them be as headless shafts.
- Let them be as a snail which melts away as it goes along, Like the miscarriages of a woman which never see the sun.
- Before your pots can feel the fire of thorns He will sweep them away with a whirlwind, the green and the burning alike.
- The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance; He will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

- 그래서 사람들이 "과연, 의인이 열매를 맺는구나! 과연, 이 땅을 심판하시는 하나님은 살아 계시는구나!" 하고 말하게 해주십시오.

- And men will say, "Surely there is a reward for the righteous; Surely there is a God who judges on earth!"
