- 왕이 이 바다에서 저 바다에 이르기까지, 이 강에서 저 땅 맨 끝에 이르기까지, 모두 다스리게 해주십시오.
- 광야의 원주민도 그 앞에 무릎을 꿇게 해주시고, 그의 원수들도 땅바닥의 먼지를 핥게 해주십시오.
- 스페인의 왕들과 섬 나라의 왕들이 그에게 예물을 가져 오게 해주시고, 아라비아와 에티오피아의 왕들이 조공을 바치게 해주십시오.
- 모든 왕이 그 앞에 엎드리게 하시고, 모든 백성이 그를 섬기게 해주십시오.
- 진실로 그는, 가난한 백성이 도와 달라고 부르짖을 때에 건져 주며, 도울 사람 없는 불쌍한 백성을 건져 준다.

- May he also rule from sea to sea And from the River to the ends of the earth.
- Let the nomads of the desert bow before him, And his enemies lick the dust.
- Let the kings of Tarshish and of the islands bring presents; The kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.
- And let all kings bow down before him, All nations serve him.
- For he will deliver the needy when he cries for help, The afflicted also, and him who has no helper.

- 그는 힘없는 사람과 가난한 사람을 불쌍히 여기며, 가난한 사람의 목숨을 건져 준다.
- 가난한 백성을 억압과 폭력에서 건져, 그 목숨을 살려 주며, 그들의 피를 귀중하게 여긴다.
- 이러한 왕은 만수무강할 것이다. 그는 아라비아의 황금도 예물로 받을 것이다. 그를 위하여 드리는 기도가 그치지 않고, 그를 위하여 비는 복이 늘 계속될 것이다.
- 땅에는 온갖 곡식이 가득하고, 산등성이에서도 곡식이 풍성하며, 온갖 과일이 레바논의 산림처럼 물결칠 것이다. 그 백성은 풀처럼 성읍 곳곳에 차고 넘칠 것이다.
- 그의 이름 영원히 잊혀지지 않을 것이다. 태양이 그 빛을 잃기까지 그의 명성이 사라지지 않을 것이다. 뭇 민족이 그를 통해 복을 받고, 모든 민족이 그를 일컬어서, 복 받은 사람이라 칭송할 것이다.

- He will have compassion on the poor and needy, And the lives of the needy he will save.
- He will rescue their life from oppression and violence, And their blood will be precious in his sight;
- So may he live, and may the gold of Sheba be given to him; And let them pray for him continually; Let them bless him all day long.
- May there be abundance of grain in the earth on top of the mountains; Its fruit will wave like the cedars of Lebanon; And may those from the city flourish like vegetation of the earth.
- May his name endure forever; May his name increase as long as the sun shines; And let men bless themselves by him; Let all nations call him blessed.
