열왕기하 15:1-16:20

 남유다는 아사랴와 요담의 선정을 통하여 비교적 안정을 누렸으나, 북이스라엘은 무려 다섯 명의 왕들(스가랴, 살룸, 므나헴, 브가히야, 베가)이 계속 악을 행하여 반역으로 정권을 교체하였고, 결국 하나님의 심판으로 멸망하였다. 또한, 남유다 왕들 중에서 드물게 사악했던 왕 아하스 왕은 우상을 숭배하는 가증한 죄를 범하였으며, 하나님의 징벌로 아람과 북이스라엘의 침공을 당했을 때는 하나님보다 앗수르 왕을 의지하는 죄악을 자행하였다.
  
  아사랴의 유다 통치(15:1-15:7)    
 
  1. 이스라엘의 여로보암 왕 제 이십칠년에 유다의 아마샤 왕의 아들 아사랴가 왕이 되었다.
  2. 그가 왕이 되었을 때에, 그의 나이는 열여섯이었다. 그는 예루살렘에서 쉰두 해 동안 다스렸다. 그의 어머니 여골리야는 예루살렘 태생이다.
  3. 그는 자기의 아버지 아마샤가 한 모든 일을 본받아, 주님께서 보시기에 올바른 일을 하였으나,
  4. 산당만은 제거하지 않아서, 그 때까지 백성은 여전히 산당에서 제사를 드리고 분향을 하였다.

  1. In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah became king.
  2. He was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.
  3. He did right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done.
  4. Only the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.
  5. The LORD struck the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death And he lived in a separate house, while Jotham the king's son was over the household, judging the people of the land.
  1. 아사랴의 나머지 행적과 그가 한 모든 일은, '유다 왕 역대지략'에 기록되어 있다.

  1. 유다의 아사랴 왕 제 삼십팔년에 여로보암의 아들 스가랴가 이스라엘의 왕이 되어서, 사마리아에서 여섯 달 동안 다스렸다.
  2. 그도 또한 조상이 한 것처럼 주님께서 보시기에 악을 행하고, 이스라엘로 죄를 짓게 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 떠나지 아니하고, 그것을 그대로 본받았다.
  3. 야베스의 아들 살룸이 역모를 꾀하여 백성 앞에서 그를 죽이고, 그의 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.

  1. In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah the son of Jeroboam became king over Israel in Samaria for six months.
  2. He did evil in the sight of the LORD, as his fathers had done; he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which he made Israel sin.
  3. Then Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him and struck him before the people and killed him, and reigned in his place.
  4. Now the rest of the acts of Zechariah, behold they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
  5. This is the word of the LORD which He spoke to Jehu, saying, "Your sons to the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel." And so it was.
  1. 야베스의 아들 살룸이 유다의 웃시야 왕 제 삼십구년에 이스라엘 왕이 되어, 사마리아에서 한 달 동안 다스렸다.

  1. Shallum son of Jabesh became king in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah, and he reigned one month in Samaria.
  2. Then Menahem son of Gadi went up from Tirzah and came to Samaria, and struck Shallum son of Jabesh in Samaria, and killed him and became king in his place.
  3. Now the rest of the acts of Shallum and his conspiracy which he made, behold they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
  4. Then Menahem struck Tiphsah and all who were in it and its borders from Tirzah, because they did not open to him; therefore he struck it and ripped up all its women who were with child.
  5. In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem son of Gadi became king over Israel and reigned ten years in Samaria.
  1. 그는 주님께서 보시기에 악을 행하였다. 그는 이스라엘로 죄를 짓게 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 일생 동안 떠나지 아니하고, 그것을 그대로 본받았다.

  2. Pul, king of Assyria, came against the land, and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver so that his hand might be with him to strengthen the kingdom under his rule.
  3. Then Menahem exacted the money from Israel, even from all the mighty men of wealth, from each man fifty shekels of silver to pay the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria returned and did not remain there in the land.
  4. Now the rest of the acts of Menahem and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
  5. And Menahem slept with his fathers, and Pekahiah his son became king in his place.
  1. 유다 왕 아사랴 제 오십년에 므나헴의 아들 브가히야가 이스라엘의 왕이 되어, 사마리아에서 두 해 동안 다스렸다.

  1. In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekahiah son of Menahem became king over Israel in Samaria, and reigned two years.
  2. He did evil in the sight of the LORD; he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he made Israel sin.
  3. Then Pekah son of Remaliah, his officer, conspired against him and struck him in Samaria, in the castle of the king's house with Argob and Arieh; and with him were fifty men of the Gileadites, and he killed him and became king in his place.
  4. Now the rest of the acts of Pekahiah and all that he did, behold they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
  5. In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekah son of Remaliah became king over Israel in Samaria, and reigned twenty years.
  1. 그는 주님께서 보시기에 악을 행하였으며, 이스라엘로 죄를 짓게 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 떠나지 아니하고, 그것을 그대로 본받았다.
  2. 이스라엘의 베가 왕 시대에 앗시리아의 디글랏빌레셀 왕이 쳐들어와서, 이욘과 아벨벳마아가와 야노아와 게데스와, 하솔과 길르앗과 갈릴리와 납달리의 온 지역을 점령하고, 주민들을 앗시리아로 사로잡아 갔다.

  1. He did evil in the sight of the LORD; he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he made Israel sin.
  2. In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria came and captured Ijon and Abel-beth-maacah and Janoah and Kedesh and Hazor and Gilead and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali; and he carried them captive to Assyria.
  3. And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and struck him and put him to death and became king in his place, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.
  4. Now the rest of the acts of Pekah and all that he did, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
 
  요담, 아하스의 유다 통치(15:32-16:20)    
 
  1. 이스라엘의 르말리야 왕의 아들 베가 제 이년에 웃시야의 아들 요담이 유다의 왕이 되었다.
  2. 그가 왕이 되었을 때에, 그의 나이는 스물다섯 살이었다. 그는 예루살렘에서 열여섯 해 동안 다스렸다. 그의 어머니 여루사는 사독의 딸이다.
  3. 그는, 아버지 웃시야가 한 것을 그대로 본받아, 주님께서 보시기에 올바른 일을 하였다.
  4. 그러나 산당만은 제거하지 않아서, 백성들이 여전히 산당에서 제사를 지내고 분향을 하였다. 그는 주님의 성전의 윗 대문을 세웠다.

  1. In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel, Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah became king.
  2. He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jerusha the daughter of Zadok.
  3. He did what was right in the sight of the LORD; he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.
  4. Only the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places He built the upper gate of the house of the LORD.
  5. Now the rest of the acts of Jotham and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
  1. 이 때부터 주님께서는, 시리아의 르신 왕과 르말리야의 아들 베가를 보내어, 유다를 치기 시작하셨다.
  2. 요담은 죽어 그의 조상 다윗의 성에 조상들과 함께 안장되었고, 그의 아들 아하스가 그의 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.
  1. In those days the LORD began to send Rezin king of Aram and Pekah the son of Remaliah against Judah.
  2. And Jotham slept with his fathers, and he was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father; and Ahaz his son became king in his place.
 
 
  1. 르말리야의 아들 베가 제 십칠년에 유다의 요담 왕의 아들 아하스가 왕이 되었다.
  2. 아하스가 왕이 되었을 때에, 그의 나이는 스무 살이었다. 그는 예루살렘에서 열여섯 해 동안 다스렸다. 그러나 그는 주 하나님께서 보시기에 올바른 일을 하지 않았다. 그는 그의 조상 다윗이 한 대로 하지 않았다.

  1. In the seventeenth year of Pekah the son of Remaliah, Ahaz the son of Jotham, king of Judah, became king.
  2. Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and he did not do what was right in the sight of the LORD his God, as his father David had done.
  3. But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and even made his son pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the nations whom the LORD had driven out from before the sons of Israel.
  4. He sacrificed and burned incense on the high places and on the hills and under every green tree.
  5. Then Rezin king of Aram and Pekah son of Remaliah, king of Israel, came up to Jerusalem to wage war; and they besieged Ahaz, but could not overcome him.
  1. 그 때에 시리아의 르신 왕이, 시리아에게 엘랏을 되찾아 주었고, 엘랏에서 유다 사람들을 몰아내었으므로, 시리아 사람들이 이 날까지 엘랏에 와서 살고 있다.
  2. 아하스는 앗시리아의 디글랏빌레셀 왕에게 전령을 보내어, 이렇게 말하였다. "나는 임금님의 신하이며 아들입니다. 올라오셔서, 나를 공격하고 있는 시리아 왕과 이스라엘 왕의 손에서, 나를 구원하여 주십시오."
  3. 그런 다음에 아하스는 주님의 성전과 왕궁의 보물 창고에 있는 금과 은을 모두 꺼내어, 앗시리아의 왕에게 선물로 보냈다.

  1. At that time Rezin king of Aram recovered Elath for Aram, and cleared the Judeans out of Elath entirely; and the Arameans came to Elath and have lived there to this day.
  2. So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, saying, "I am your servant and your son; come up and deliver me from the hand of the king of Aram and from the hand of the king of Israel, who are rising up against me."
  3. Ahaz took the silver and gold that was found in the house of the LORD and in the treasuries of the king's house, and sent a present to the king of Assyria.
  4. So the king of Assyria listened to him; and the king of Assyria went up against Damascus and captured it, and carried the people of it away into exile to Kir, and put Rezin to death.
  5. Now King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, and saw the altar which was at Damascus; and King Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the pattern of the altar and its model, according to all its workmanship.
  1. 그래서 우리야 제사장은, 아하스 왕이 다마스쿠스로부터 보내 온 것을 따라서, 제단을 만들었다. 우리야 제사장은 아하스 왕이 다마스쿠스로부터 돌아오기 전에 제단 건축을 모두 완성하였다.
  2. 왕은 다마스쿠스로부터 돌아와서, 그 제단을 보고 제단으로 나아가 그 위로 올라갔다.
  3. 그리고 거기에서 그가 직접 번제물과 곡식제물을 드렸고, '부어 드리는 제물'을 따르기도 하였다. 또 제단 위에 화목제물의 피도 뿌렸다.
  4. 그리고 그는 주님 앞에 놓여 있는 놋제단을 성전 앞에서 옮겼는데, 새 제단과 주님의 성전 사이에 있는 놋제단을 새 제단 북쪽에 갖다 놓았다.
  5. 아하스 왕은 우리야 제사장에게 명령하였다. "아침 번제물과 저녁 곡식예물, 왕의 번제물과 곡식예물, 또 이 땅의 모든 백성의 번제물과 곡식예물과 부어 드리는 예물을, 모두 이 큰 제단 위에서 드리도록 하고, 번제물과 희생제물의 모든 피를, 그 위에 뿌리시오. 그러나 그 놋제단은, 내가 주님께 여쭈어 볼 때에만 쓰겠소."
  1. So Urijah the priest built an altar; according to all that King Ahaz had sent from Damascus, thus Urijah the priest made it, before the coming of King Ahaz from Damascus.
  2. When the king came from Damascus, the king saw the altar; then the king approached the altar and went up to it,
  3. and burned his burnt offering and his meal offering, and poured his drink offering and sprinkled the blood of his peace offerings on the altar.
  4. The bronze altar, which was before the LORD, he brought from the front of the house, from between his altar and the house of the LORD, and he put it on the north side of his altar.
  5. Then King Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, "Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering and the evening meal offering and the king's burnt offering and his meal offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land and their meal offering and their drink offerings; and sprinkle on it all the blood of the burnt offering and all the blood of the sacrifice But the bronze altar shall be for me to inquire by."
  1. 우리야 제사장은 아하스 왕이 명령한 대로 이행하였다.
  2. 아하스 왕은 대야의 놋쇠 테두리를 떼어 버리고, 놋대야를 그 자리에서 옮기고, 또 놋쇠 소가 받치고 있는 놋쇠 바다를 뜯어 내어 돌받침 위에 놓았다.
  3. 또 그는 앗시리아 왕에게 경의를 표하려고, 주님의 성전 안에 만들어 둔 왕의 안식일 전용 통로와 주님의 성전 바깥에 만든 전용 출입구를 모두 없애 버렸다.
  4. 아하스가 행한 나머지 모든 일은 '유다 왕 역대지략'에 기록되어 있다.
  5. 아하스가 죽어 잠드니, 그를 그의 조상과 함께 '다윗 성'에 장사하였고, 그의 아들 히스기야가 그의 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.
  1. So Urijah the priest did according to all that King Ahaz commanded.
  2. Then King Ahaz cut off the borders of the stands, and removed the laver from them; he also took down the sea from the bronze oxen which were under it and put it on a pavement of stone.
  3. The covered way for the sabbath which they had built in the house, and the outer entry of the king, he removed from the house of the LORD because of the king of Assyria.
  4. Now the rest of the acts of Ahaz which he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
  5. So Ahaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David; and his son Hezekiah reigned in his place.
