이사야 23:1-25:12

 이사야는 교만한 두로와 시돈이 하나님의 심판으로 멸망받게 되는데, 두로는 하나님의 권고로 70년 만에 회복되지만 여전히 죄악의 도성으로 남게 될 것이라고 예언하였다. 그리고 최후의 심판의 날에 하나님의 백성들은 구원을 받지만 하나님을 대적하는 교만한 모압은 멸망을 받을 것이라고 예언하였다.
  
  두로의 심판(23:1-23:18)    
 
  1. 이것은 두로를 두고 하신 엄한 경고의 말씀이다. 다시스의 배들아, 너희는 슬피 울어라. 두로가 파멸되었으니, 들어갈 집도 없고, 닻을 내릴 항구도 없다. 키프로스에서 너희가 이 소식을 들었다.
  2. 항해자들이 부유하게 만들어 준 너희 섬 백성들아, 시돈의 상인들아, 잠잠하여라!
  3. 시홀의 곡식 곧 나일의 수확을 배로 실어 들였으니, 두로는 곧 뭇 나라의 시장이 되었다.
  4. 그러나 너 시돈아, 너 바다의 요새야, 네가 수치를 당하였다. 너의 어머니인 바다가 너를 버리고 이렇게 말한다. "나는 산고를 겪지도 않았고, 아이를 낳지도 못하였다. 아들들을 기른 일도 없고, 딸들을 키운 일도 없다."
  5. 두로가 파멸되었다는 소식이 이집트에 전해지면, 이집트마저도 충격을 받고 낙심할 것이다.
  1. The oracle concerning Tyre Wail, O ships of Tarshish, For Tyre is destroyed, without house or harbor; It is reported to them from the land of Cyprus.
  2. Be silent, you inhabitants of the coastland, You merchants of Sidon; Your messengers crossed the sea
  3. And were on many waters. The grain of the Nile, the harvest of the River was her revenue; And she was the market of nations.
  4. Be ashamed, O Sidon; For the sea speaks, the stronghold of the sea, saying, "I have neither travailed nor given birth, I have neither brought up young men nor reared virgins."
  5. When the report reaches Egypt, They will be in anguish at the report of Tyre.
  1. 베니게의 주민아, 스페인으로 건너가거라. 섬나라 백성아, 슬피 울어라.
  2. 이것이 너희가 그렇게 좋아하던 도성 두로냐? 그토록 오랜 역사를 가지고 저 먼 곳에까지 가서 식민지를 세우던 도성이냐?
  3. 빛나는 왕관을 쓰고 있던 두로, 그 상인들은 귀족들이요, 그 무역상들은 세상이 우러러보던 사람들이었는데, 두로를 두고 누가 이런 일을 계획하였겠느냐?
  4. 그 일을 계획하신 분은 만군의 주님이시다. 온갖 영화를 누리며 으스대던 교만한 자들을 비천하게 만드시고, 이 세상에서 유명하다는 자들을 보잘 것 없이 만드시려고, 이런 계획을 세우셨다.
  5. 스페인의 딸아, 너의 땅으로 돌아가서 땅이나 갈아라. 이제 너에게는 항구가 없다.
  1. Pass over to Tarshish; Wail, O inhabitants of the coastland.
  2. Is this your jubilant city, Whose origin is from antiquity, Whose feet used to carry her to colonize distant places?
  3. Who has planned this against Tyre, the bestower of crowns, Whose merchants were princes, whose traders were the honored of the earth?
  4. The LORD of hosts has planned it, to defile the pride of all beauty, To despise all the honored of the earth.
  5. Overflow your land like the Nile, O daughter of Tarshish, There is no more restraint.
  1. 주님께서 바다 위에 팔을 펴셔서, 왕국들을 뒤흔드시고, 베니게의 요새들을 허물라고 명하셨다.
  2. 그래서 주님께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "처녀, 딸 시돈아, 너는 망했다. 네가 다시는 우쭐대지 못할 것이다. 일어나서 키프로스로 건너가 보아라. 그러나 거기에서도 네가 평안하지 못할 것이다."
  3. （바빌로니아 사람의 땅을 보아라. 백성이 없어졌다. 앗시리아 사람이 그 곳을 들짐승이 사는 곳으로 만들었다. 그들이 도성 바깥에 흙 언덕을 쌓고, 성을 공격하여, 궁전을 헐어 황폐하게 하였다.）
  4. 다시스의 배들아, 너희는 슬피 울어라. 너희의 요새가 파괴되었다.
  5. 그 날이 오면, 한 왕의 수명과 같은 칠십 년 동안 두로가 잊혀지겠으나, 칠십 년이 지난 뒤에는, 두로가 창녀의 노래에 나오는 주인공처럼 될 것이다.
  1. He has stretched His hand out over the sea, He has made the kingdoms tremble; The LORD has given a command concerning Canaan to demolish its strongholds.
  2. He has said, "You shall exult no more, O crushed virgin daughter of Sidon Arise, pass over to Cyprus; even there you will find no rest."
  3. Behold, the land of the Chaldeans--this is the people which was not; Assyria appointed it for desert creatures--they erected their siege towers, they stripped its palaces, they made it a ruin.
  4. Wail, O ships of Tarshish, For your stronghold is destroyed.
  5. Now in that day Tyre will be forgotten for seventy years like the days of one king. At the end of seventy years it will happen to Tyre as in the song of the harlot:
  1. 망각 속으로 사라졌던 너 가련한 창녀야, 수금을 들고 성읍을 두루 다니며, 감미롭게 수금을 타고 노래나 실컷 불러라. 남자들마다 네 노랫소리를 듣고, 다시 너를 기억하여 모여들게 하여라.
  2. 칠십 년이 지나가면, 주님께서 두로를 돌보아 주셔서 옛날처럼 다시 해상무역을 하게 하실 것이다. 그 때에 두로는 다시 제 몸을 팔아서, 땅 위에 있는 세상의 모든 나라의 돈을 끌어들일 것이다.
  3. 그러나 두로가 장사를 해서 벌어들인 소득은 주님의 몫이 될 것이다. 두로가 제 몫으로 간직하거나 쌓아 두지 못할 것이다. 주님을 섬기며 사는 사람들이, 두로가 벌어 놓은 것으로, 배불리 먹을 양식과 좋은 옷감을 살 것이다.
  1. Take your harp, walk about the city, O forgotten harlot; Pluck the strings skillfully, sing many songs, That you may be remembered.
  2. It will come about at the end of seventy years that the LORD will visit Tyre Then she will go back to her harlot's wages and will play the harlot with all the kingdoms on the face of the earth.
  3. Her gain and her harlot's wages will be set apart to the LORD; it will not be stored up or hoarded, but her gain will become sufficient food and choice attire for those who dwell in the presence of the LORD.
 
  땅의 심판(24:1-24:23)    
 
  1. 주님께서 땅을 텅 비게 하시며, 황폐하게 하시며, 땅의 표면을 뒤엎으시며, 그 주민을 흩으실 것이니,
  2. 이 일이 백성과 제사장에게 똑같이 미칠 것이며, 종과 그 주인에게, 하녀와 그 안주인에게, 사는 자와 파는 자에게, 빌려 주는 자와 빌리는 자에게, 이자를 받는 자와 이자를 내는 자에게, 똑같이 미칠 것이다.
  3. 땅이 완전히 텅 비며, 완전히 황무하게 될 것이다. 주님께서 그렇게 된다고 선언하셨기 때문이다.
  4. 땅이 메마르며 시든다. 세상이 생기가 없고 시든다. 땅에서 높은 자리를 차지한 자들도 생기가 없다.
  5. 땅이 사람 때문에 더럽혀진다. 사람이 율법을 어기고 법령을 거슬러서, 영원한 언약을 깨뜨렸기 때문이다.
  1. Behold, the LORD lays the earth waste, devastates it, distorts its surface and scatters its inhabitants.
  2. And the people will be like the priest, the servant like his master, the maid like her mistress, the buyer like the seller, the lender like the borrower, the creditor like the debtor.
  3. The earth will be completely laid waste and completely despoiled, for the LORD has spoken this word.
  4. The earth mourns and withers, the world fades and withers, the exalted of the people of the earth fade away.
  5. The earth is also polluted by its inhabitants, for they transgressed laws, violated statutes, broke the everlasting covenant.
  1. 그러므로 땅은 저주를 받고, 거기에서 사는 사람이 형벌을 받는다. 그러므로 땅의 주민들이 불에 타서, 살아 남는 자가 얼마 되지 않을 것이다.
  2. 새 포도주가 마르며, 포도나무가 시든다. 마음에 기쁨이 가득 찼던 사람들이 모두 탄식한다.
  3. 소구를 치는 흥겨움도 그치고, 기뻐 뛰는 소리도 멎고, 수금 타는 기쁨도 그친다.
  4. 그들이 다시는 노래하며 포도주를 마시지 못할 것이고, 독한 술은 그 마시는 자에게 쓰디쓸 것이다.
  5. 무너진 성읍은 황폐한 그대로 있고, 집들은 모두 닫혀 있으며, 들어가는 사람이 하나도 없을 것이다.
  1. Therefore, a curse devours the earth, and those who live in it are held guilty Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left.
  2. The new wine mourns, The vine decays, All the merry-hearted sigh.
  3. The gaiety of tambourines ceases, The noise of revelers stops, The gaiety of the harp ceases.
  4. They do not drink wine with song; Strong drink is bitter to those who drink it.
  5. The city of chaos is broken down; Every house is shut up so that none may enter.
  1. 거리에서는 포도주를 찾아 아우성 치고, 모든 기쁨은 슬픔으로 바뀌고, 땅에서는 즐거움이 사라진다.
  2. 성읍은 폐허가 된 채로 버려져 있고, 성문은 파괴되어 조각 난다.
  3. 이 땅에 이러한 일이 일어나고 거기에 사는 백성에게 이러한 일이 일어날 것이니, 마치 올리브 나무를 떤 다음과 같고, 포도나무에서 포도를 걷은 뒤에 남은 것을 주울 때와 같을 것이다.
  4. 살아 남은 사람들은 소리를 높이고, 기뻐서 외칠 것이다. 서쪽에서는 사람들이 주님의 크신 위엄을 말하고,
  5. 동쪽에서는 사람들이 주님께 영광을 돌릴 것이다. 바다의 모든 섬에서는 사람들이 주 이스라엘의 하나님의 이름을 찬양할 것이다.
  1. There is an outcry in the streets concerning the wine; All joy turns to gloom. The gaiety of the earth is banished.
  2. Desolation is left in the city And the gate is battered to ruins.
  3. For thus it will be in the midst of the earth among the peoples, As the shaking of an olive tree, As the gleanings when the grape harvest is over.
  4. They raise their voices, they shout for joy; They cry out from the west concerning the majesty of the LORD.
  5. Therefore glorify the LORD in the east, The name of the LORD, the God of Israel, In the coastlands of the sea.
  1. 땅 끝에서부터 노래하는 소리 "의로우신 분께 영광을 돌리세!" 하는 찬양을 우리가 들을 것이다. 그러나 갑자기 나는 절망에 사로잡혔다. 이런 변이 있나! 이런 변이 또 어디에 있단 말인가! 나에게 재앙이 닥쳤구나! 약탈자들이 약탈한다. 약탈자들이 마구 약탈한다.
  2. 땅에 사는 사람들아, 무서운 일과 함정과 올가미가 너를 기다리고 있다.
  3. 무서운 소리를 피하여 달아나는 사람은 함정에 빠지고, 함정 속에서 기어 나온 사람은 올가미에 걸릴 것이다. 하늘의 홍수 문들이 열리고, 땅의 기초가 흔들린다.
  4. 땅덩이가 여지없이 부스러지며, 땅이 아주 갈라지고, 땅이 몹시 흔들린다.
  5. 땅이 술 취한 자처럼 몹시 비틀거린다. 폭풍 속의 오두막처럼 흔들린다. 세상은 자기가 지은 죄의 무게에 짓눌릴 것이니, 쓰러져서 다시는 일어나지 못할 것이다.
  1. From the ends of the earth we hear songs, "Glory to the Righteous One," But I say, "Woe to me! Woe to me! Alas for me! The treacherous deal treacherously, And the treacherous deal very treacherously."
  2. Terror and pit and snare Confront you, O inhabitant of the earth.
  3. Then it will be that he who flees the report of disaster will fall into the pit, And he who climbs out of the pit will be caught in the snare; For the windows above are opened, and the foundations of the earth shake.
  4. The earth is broken asunder, The earth is split through, The earth is shaken violently.
  5. The earth reels to and fro like a drunkard And it totters like a shack, For its transgression is heavy upon it, And it will fall, never to rise again.
  1. 그 날이 오면, 주님께서, 위로는 하늘의 군대를 벌하시고, 아래로는 땅에 있는 세상의 군왕들을 벌하실 것이다.
  2. 주님께서 군왕들을 죄수처럼 토굴 속에 모으시고, 오랫동안 감옥에 가두어 두셨다가 처형하실 것이다.
  3. 만군의 주님께서 왕이 되실 터이니, 달은 볼 낯이 없어 하고, 해는 부끄러워할 것이다. 주님께서 시온 산에 앉으셔서 예루살렘을 다스릴 것이며, 장로들은 그 영광을 볼 것이다.
  1. So it will happen in that day, That the LORD will punish the host of heaven on high, And the kings of the earth on earth.
  2. They will be gathered together Like prisoners in the dungeon, And will be confined in prison; And after many days they will be punished.
  3. Then the moon will be abashed and the sun ashamed, For the LORD of hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, And His glory will be before His elders.
 
  감사의 찬양(25:1-25:12)    
 
  1. 주님, 주님은 나의 하나님이십니다. 내가 주님을 높이며, 주님의 이름을 찬양하겠습니다. 주님께서는 놀라운 일들을 이루시고, 예전에 세우신 계획대로 신실하고 진실하게 이루셨습니다.
  2. 주님께서는 성읍들을 돌무더기로 만드셨고, 견고한 성읍들을 폐허로 만드셨습니다. 우리의 대적들이 지은 도성들을 더 이상 도성이라고 할 수 없게 만드셨으니, 아무도 그것을 재건하지 못할 것입니다.
  3. 그러므로 강한 민족이 주님을 영화롭게 할 것이며, 포악한 민족들의 성읍이 주님을 경외할 것입니다.
  4. 참으로 주님께서는 가난한 사람들의 요새이시며, 곤경에 빠진 불쌍한 사람들의 요새이시며, 폭풍우를 피할 피난처이시며, 뙤약볕을 막는 그늘이십니다. 흉악한 자들의 기세는 성벽을 뒤흔드는 폭풍과 같고,
  5. 사막의 열기와 같습니다. 그러나 주님께서는 이방 사람의 함성을 잠잠하게 하셨습니다. 구름 그늘이 뙤약볕의 열기를 식히듯이, 포악한 자들의 노랫소리를 그치게 하셨습니다.
  1. O LORD, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; For You have worked wonders, Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness.
  2. For You have made a city into a heap, A fortified city into a ruin; A palace of strangers is a city no more, It will never be rebuilt.
  3. Therefore a strong people will glorify You; Cities of ruthless nations will revere You.
  4. For You have been a defense for the helpless, A defense for the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat; For the breath of the ruthless Is like a rain storm against a wall.
  5. Like heat in drought, You subdue the uproar of aliens; Like heat by the shadow of a cloud, the song of the ruthless is silenced.
  1. 만군의 주님께서 이 세상 모든 민족을 여기 시온 산으로 부르셔서, 풍성한 잔치를 베푸실 것이다. 기름진 것들과 오래된 포도주, 제일 좋은 살코기와 잘 익은 포도주로 잔치를 베푸실 것이다.
  2. 또 주님께서 이 산에서 모든 백성이 걸친 수의를 찢어서 벗기시고, 모든 민족이 입은 수의를 벗겨서 없애실 것이다.
  3. 주님께서 죽음을 영원히 멸하신다. 주 하나님께서 모든 사람의 얼굴에서 눈물을 말끔히 닦아 주신다. 그의 백성이 온 세상에서 당한 수치를 없애 주신다. 이것은 주님께서 하신 말씀이다.
  4. 그 날이 오면, 사람들은 이런 말을 할 것이다. 바로 이분이 우리의 하나님이시다. 우리가 하나님을 의지하였으니, 하나님께서 우리를 구원하신다. 바로 이분이 주님이시다. 우리가 주님을 의지한다. 우리를 구원하여 주셨으니 기뻐하며 즐거워하자.
  5. 주님께서 시온 산은 보호하시겠지만, 모압은, 마치 지푸라기가 거름 물구덩이에서 짓밟히듯이, 제자리에서 짓밟히게 하실 것이다.
  1. The LORD of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain; A banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow, And refined, aged wine.
  2. And on this mountain He will swallow up the covering which is over all peoples, Even the veil which is stretched over all nations.
  3. He will swallow up death for all time, And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken.
  4. And it will be said in that day, "Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us This is the LORD for whom we have waited; Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation."
  5. For the hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain, And Moab will be trodden down in his place As straw is trodden down in the water of a manure pile.
  1. 헤엄 치는 사람이 팔을 휘저어서 헤엄을 치듯이, 모압이 그 거름 물구덩이에서 두 팔을 휘저어 빠져 나오려고 하여도, 주님께서는 모압의 팔을 그의 교만과 함께 가라앉게 하실 것이다.
  2. 튼튼한 모압의 성벽을 헐어 내셔서, 땅의 먼지바닥에 폭삭 주저앉게 하실 것이다.
  1. And he will spread out his hands in the middle of it As a swimmer spreads out his hands to swim, But the Lord will lay low his pride together with the trickery of his hands.
  2. The unassailable fortifications of your walls He will bring down, Lay low and cast to the ground, even to the dust.
