- 하나님, 내가 하나님께 새 노래를 불러 드리며, 열 줄 거문고를 타면서 하나님을 찬양하겠습니다.
- 왕들에게 승리를 안겨 주신 주님, 주님의 종 다윗을 무서운 칼에서 건져 주신 주님,
- 외적의 손에서 나를 끌어내셔서 건져 주십시오. 그들의 입은 헛된 것을 말하며, 그들이 맹세하는 오른손은 거짓으로 속이는 손입니다.
- 우리의 아들들은 어릴 때부터 나무처럼 튼튼하게 잘 자라고, 우리의 딸들은 궁전 모퉁이를 장식한 우아한 돌기둥처럼 잘 다듬어지고,
- 우리의 곳간에는 온갖 곡식이 가득하고, 우리가 기르는 양 떼는 넓은 들판에서 수천 배, 수만 배나 늘어나며,

- Who gives salvation to kings, Who rescues David His servant from the evil sword.
- Rescue me and deliver me out of the hand of aliens, Whose mouth speaks deceit And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
- Let our sons in their youth be as grown-up plants, And our daughters as corner pillars fashioned as for a palace;
- Let our garners be full, furnishing every kind of produce, And our flocks bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields;
