- 우리가 포로로 잡혀온 지 이십오 년째가 되는 해, 예루살렘 도성이 함락된 지 십사 년째가 되는 해의 첫째 달, 그 달 십일 바로 그 날에, 주님의 권능이 나를 사로잡아, 나를 이스라엘 땅으로 데리고 가셨다.
- 하나님께서 보여 주신 환상 속에서 나를 이스라엘 땅으로 데려다가 아주 높은 산 위에 내려 놓으셨는데, 그 산의 남쪽에는 성읍 비슷한 건축물이 있었다.
- 그가 나를 그 곳으로 데리고 가셨는데, 그 곳에는 어떤 사람이 있었다. 그는 놋쇠와 같이 빛나는 모습이었고, 그의 손에는 삼으로 꼰 줄과 측량하는 막대기가 있었다. 그는 대문에 서 있었다.
- 그 때에 그 사람이 내게 말하였다. "사람아, 내가 네게 보여 주는 모든 것을 네 눈으로 잘 보고, 네 귀로 잘 듣고, 네 마음에 새겨 두어라. 이것을 네게 보여 주려고, 너를 이 곳으로 데려 왔다. 네가 보는 모든 것을 이스라엘 족속에게 알려 주어라."
- 성전 바깥에는 사방으로 담이 있었다. 그 사람의 손에는 측량하는 장대가 있었는데, 그 장대의 길이는, 팔꿈치에서 가운데 손가락 끝에 이르고, 한 손바닥 너비가 더 되는 자로 여섯 자였다. 그가 그 담을 측량하였는데, 두께가 한 장대요, 높이가 한 장대였다.

- In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was taken, on that same day the hand of the LORD was upon me and He brought me there.
- In the visions of God He brought me into the land of Israel and set me on a very high mountain, and on it to the south there was a structure like a city.
- So He brought me there; and behold, there was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of bronze, with a line of flax and a measuring rod in his hand; and he was standing in the gateway.
- The man said to me, "Son of man, see with your eyes, hear with your ears, and give attention to all that I am going to show you; for you have been brought here in order to show it to you Declare to the house of Israel all that you see."
- And behold, there was a wall on the outside of the temple all around, and in the man's hand was a measuring rod of six cubits, each of which was a cubit and a handbreadth. So he measured the thickness of the wall, one rod; and the height, one rod.

- 그가 동쪽으로 난 문으로 들어가, 계단으로 올라가서 문간을 재니, 길이가 한 장대였다.

- Then he went to the gate which faced east, went up its steps and measured the threshold of the gate, one rod in width; and the other threshold was one rod in width.
- The guardroom was one rod long and one rod wide; and there were five cubits between the guardrooms. And the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate facing inward was one rod.
- Then he measured the porch of the gate facing inward, one rod.
- He measured the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and its side pillars, two cubits. And the porch of the gate was faced inward.
- The guardrooms of the gate toward the east numbered three on each side; the three of them had the same measurement. The side pillars also had the same measurement on each side.

- And he measured the width of the gateway, ten cubits, and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits.
- There was a barrier wall one cubit wide in front of the guardrooms on each side; and the guardrooms were six cubits square on each side.
- He measured the gate from the roof of the one guardroom to the roof of the other, a width of twenty-five cubits from one door to the door opposite.
- He made the side pillars sixty cubits high; the gate extended round about to the side pillar of the courtyard.
- From the front of the entrance gate to the front of the inner porch of the gate was fifty cubits.

- 또 문지기 방에는 모두 사면으로 창이 나 있고, 방의 벽기둥에도 창이 나 있었다. 현관의 사면에도 창이 있었다. 창들은 모두 바깥에서 보면 좁고 안에서 보면 안쪽으로 들어오면서 점점 좌우로 넓게 넓어지는, 틀만 있는 창이었다. 양쪽의 벽기둥에는 각각 종려나무가 새겨져 있었다.
- 그런 다음에 그 사람이 나를 데리고 바깥 뜰로 들어갔는데, 그 바깥 뜰에는 사방으로 행랑방들이 있고, 길에는 돌을 깔아 놓았는데, 그 돌이 깔린 길을 따라, 서른 채의 행랑이 붙어 있었다.
- 그 돌이 깔린 길은 대문들의 옆에까지 이르렀고, 그 길이는 문들의 길이와 같았다. 그것은 아래쪽의 길이었다.
- 또 그가 아랫문의 안쪽 정면에서부터 안뜰의 바깥 정면에 이르기까지의 너비를 재니, 백 자가 되었다. 이 길이는 동쪽과 북쪽이 같았다.
- 또 그 사람이 나를 바깥 뜰에 붙은 북쪽으로 난 문으로 데리고 가서, 그 문의 길이와 너비를 재었다.

- There were shuttered windows looking toward the guardrooms, and toward their side pillars within the gate all around, and likewise for the porches And there were windows all around inside; and on each side pillar were palm tree ornaments.
- Then he brought me into the outer court, and behold, there were chambers and a pavement made for the court all around; thirty chambers faced the pavement.
- The pavement (that is, the lower pavement) was by the side of the gates, corresponding to the length of the gates.
- Then he measured the width from the front of the lower gate to the front of the exterior of the inner court, a hundred cubits on the east and on the north.
- As for the gate of the outer court which faced the north, he measured its length and its width.

- 문지기 방들이 이쪽에도 셋, 저쪽에도 셋이 있는데, 그 벽기둥이나 현관이 모두 앞에서 말한, 동쪽으로 난 문의 크기와 똑같이 이 대문의 전체 길이가 쉰 자요, 너비가 스물다섯 자였다.

- It had three guardrooms on each side; and its side pillars and its porches had the same measurement as the first gate Its length was fifty cubits and the width twenty-five cubits.
- Its windows and its porches and its palm tree ornaments had the same measurements as the gate which faced toward the east; and it was reached by seven steps, and its porch was in front of them.
- The inner court had a gate opposite the gate on the north as well as the gate on the east; and he measured a hundred cubits from gate to gate.
- Then he led me toward the south, and behold, there was a gate toward the south; and he measured its side pillars and its porches according to those same measurements.
- The gate and its porches had windows all around like those other windows; the length was fifty cubits and the width twenty-five cubits.

- There were seven steps going up to it, and its porches were in front of them; and it had palm tree ornaments on its side pillars, one on each side.
- The inner court had a gate toward the south; and he measured from gate to gate toward the south, a hundred cubits.
- Then he brought me to the inner court by the south gate; and he measured the south gate according to those same measurements.
- Its guardrooms also, its side pillars and its porches were according to those same measurements And the gate and its porches had windows all around; it was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.
- There were porches all around, twenty-five cubits long and five cubits wide.

- Then he brought me to the north gate; and he measured it according to those same measurements,

- 그리고 그 중문의 현관 어귀에는 양쪽에 각각 상이 두 개씩 있었는데, 그 위에서는 번제와 속죄제와 속건제에 쓸 짐승을 잡았다.
- 이 북쪽 문의 어귀, 현관의 바깥 쪽으로 올라가는 양쪽에도 상이 각각 두 개씩 있었다.

- In the porch of the gate were two tables on each side, on which to slaughter the burnt offering, the sin offering and the guilt offering.
- On the outer side, as one went up to the gateway toward the north, were two tables; and on the other side of the porch of the gate were two tables.

- 이렇게 북쪽 중문의 안쪽에 상이 네 개, 바깥 쪽에 네 개가 있어서, 제물로 바치는 짐승을 잡는 상이 모두 여덟 개였다.
- 또 돌을 깎아서 만든 것으로서 번제물을 바칠 때에 쓰는 상이 넷이 있는데, 각 상의 길이는 한 자 반이요, 너비도 한 자 반이며, 높이는 한 자였다. 그 위에 번제와 희생제물을 잡는 기구가 놓여 있었다.
- 그 방 안의 사면에는 손바닥만한 갈고리가 부착되어 있으며, 상 위에는 제물로 바치는 고기가 놓여 있었다.
- 또 안뜰의 바깥쪽에는 방 두 개가 있는데, 하나는 북쪽 중문의 한쪽 모퉁이 벽 곁에 있어서 남쪽을 향해 있고, 다른 하나는 남쪽 중문의 한쪽 모퉁이 벽 곁에 있어서 북쪽을 향하여 있었다.
- 그 사람이 나에게 일러주었다. "남쪽을 향한 이 방은 성전 일을 맡은 제사장들의 방이요,

- Four tables were on each side next to the gate; or, eight tables on which they slaughter sacrifices.
- For the burnt offering there were four tables of hewn stone, a cubit and a half long, a cubit and a half wide and one cubit high, on which they lay the instruments with which they slaughter the burnt offering and the sacrifice.
- The double hooks, one handbreadth in length, were installed in the house all around; and on the tables was the flesh of the offering.
- From the outside to the inner gate were chambers for the singers in the inner court, one of which was at the side of the north gate, with its front toward the south, and one at the side of the south gate facing toward the north.
- He said to me, "This is the chamber which faces toward the south, intended for the priests who keep charge of the temple;

- 북쪽을 향한 저 방은 제단 일을 맡은 제사장들의 방이다. 그들은 레위 자손 가운데서도, 주께 가까이 나아가 섬기는 사독의 자손이다."
- 그가 또 안뜰을 재니, 길이가 백 자요 너비도 백 자인 정사각형이었다. 제단은 성전 본당 앞에 놓여 있었다.
- 그 사람이 나를 데리고 성전 현관으로 들어가서, 현관 벽기둥들을 재니, 양쪽에 있는 것이 각각 두께가 다섯 자였다. 문 어귀의 너비는 열넉 자이고 문의 양 옆 벽의 두께는 석 자였다.
- 그 현관의 너비는 스무 자였고, 길이는 열한 자였다. 현관으로 들어가는 어귀에는 계단이 있었다. 그리고 문간 양쪽으로 있는 벽기둥 외에 기둥이 양쪽에 하나씩 있었다.

- but the chamber which faces toward the north is for the priests who keep charge of the altar These are the sons of Zadok, who from the sons of Levi come near to the LORD to minister to Him."
- He measured the court, a perfect square, a hundred cubits long and a hundred cubits wide; and the altar was in front of the temple.
- Then he brought me to the porch of the temple and measured each side pillar of the porch, five cubits on each side; and the width of the gate was three cubits on each side.
- The length of the porch was twenty cubits and the width eleven cubits; and at the stairway by which it was ascended were columns belonging to the side pillars, one on each side.
